I love my lashes! I've had them for approximately two weeks and I couldn't be happier. I would positively recommend April May to anyone looking to apply lash extensions, facials or any of the other esthetic services Leslie offers.

I found this place through Yelp search and am super glad I did!…read more I'm very happy with my brow wax/tint and Tara was a sweetheart. The space is cute, clean, and relaxing. Additionally I live out of state and am visiting family in the area so I won't be using their services regularly but Tara took notes on how I liked my brows done so when I come back in the future it'll be done to my preference! That was such a sweet and considerate thing to do.

Today was my first visit, and I was really excited to come in. I've heard so many great things…read moreabout this place, so I came with pretty high expectations. I booked a Brow Magic appointment with Tara, and overall I was happy with the service and my brows. My only disappointment was the timing. My appointment was scheduled for 3:45, and I arrived about 10 minutes early. Since there isn't a receptionist, I checked myself in and waited. Around 3:47, Tara popped her head out and let me know she'd need about 7 more minutes, which was completely understandable. However, it ended up being closer to 15 minutes. Around 4, she came out with her previous client, checked her out, and booked her next appointment before bringing me back. I totally understand that appointments can run over, and things happen, but I felt like there wasn't much acknowledgment of the delay or consideration for my time. Thankfully, I didn't have anywhere else I needed to be, but if I had, it could have been frustrating. I think what stood out to me most is that if I had shown up 15 minutes late, I likely would have been charged a fee or asked to reschedule. I believe that same respect for clients' time should go both ways. With that being said, I probably won't be back. The space was beautiful and the shop was cute though.

I messaged her and to my surprise she offered to do my braids the next day on a Sunday! My braids look amazing! She was a life saver! She gave me relief, comfort and great advice on managing my hair! Although, I am moving to CA, if I can't find a braider as good and friendly. I will fly back for another appointment! Thank you for saving me and my hair! :-)

How have I not written a review for the BEST AESTHETICIAN IN SCOTTSDALE!!…read more haha.. but for real, short and sweet: you won't regret going to Courtenay! She is nice, professional and the best at what she does. I've been going on and off (now only her) for over 10 years I believe and she's been doing it for 10 before that! Details: Stumbled upon her when she was in old town because this salon was featured in a Yelp Podcast/Highlight and I love supporting local businesses. The price is decent.. but I feel like most of us can relate, when we see a Groupon or deal for somewhere else, we check it out right? Well.... I've checked out a TON of places and realized quality is important when it comes down to womanscaping your lady parts! I've tried hard wax, soft wax, sugaring (most painful although great results), different types of wax.. you name it! Deals that apparently for my long legs doesn't always get honored! After exploring, I finally realized I couldn't go anywhere else to get the waxing I deeming the best! Whether you want your upper lip done, half leg, whole leg waxing or a Brazilian, she ca do it all. She can even do a design.. she offers but I decline! I'm simple. Its located inside Sachi Studios and she is always waiting outside. I thought this was extra nice since my first time there are TONS of boutique shops and salons in there. The actual place is a little small, but as long as my 5'11 frame can fit on that table and she can do her work, I don't mind :) For the cost, the pain level, the results and the company you just can't beat this place or the price! Hope you lucky ladies or gents get a chance to check her out and let her work speak for herself. Thank you again!!
