Then I thought to myself whatever I will let this go. She moved onto doing my toes. I had to tell her to even out my toe nails they were different shapes. No cuticles cut again. Then same story. Nail polish all over my toes and skin and cuticles. And I said this is not even .. the edges of the nailpolish were not at the nail bed.. and i said "could you please make this even?? The lady again was "in shock" that she is doing a bad job and said "what's wrong here?" in a very HOSTILE and passive aggressive manner. I said that it is not even.. do you want me to show you? At that point the lady got up and said "YOU CAN DO IT YOURSELF, BYE, ask groupon for your money back, you've been complaining from the beginning." I was shocked. This lady was so unprofessional... She just got up and left. Gave me so much ATTITUDE on my birthday. It was not about the money spent it was about the TIME I WASTED there and received such a "nice" treatment from her. I was counting on these people to make my nails look nice for a special occasion. NEVER AGAIN. PLEASE DON'T GET YOUR NAILS DONE HERE. I wish I asked the name of the lady so I could call her out. But if an older Spanish lady approaches to cut your nails - RUN AWAY . You are guaranteed to be left unsatisfied. I left to a different salon where they made my nails look amazing. Regular mani pedi services are $22 And the ones with gel are $35 I really liked how my nails came out. The lady who did mine took her long time and dedication to do so. The lady on the phone was an absolute pleasure to speak with and I booked an appointment for the very next day. From the minute I opened the door to the minute I walked out there were nothing but positive, feel good vibes. The girl at the door greeted me with the most authentic smile and took me right to the seat with my nail tech. She asked me if I would like anything to drink and the other nail techs suggested wine after a long day. Nails and wine? AMAZING! As I happily sipped my wine, my nail tech, Marta, was paying super close attention to detail and making sure I was happy with everything (which I was). Through the months, my nails have broken and gotten super short and she still managed to shape them nice and square. And when my original nail color idea wasn't working out (I wanted 2 coats of one color and 1 coat of another) she showed me what it would look like on all the nails and made sure I was satisfied. I wasn't and she without hesitation took them off and continued with a better plan. I truly love nail techs that are more interested in a satisfied client than getting the job done quickly. I have spent the last 2 years growing my hair out, doing scalp oil treatments, microneedling, hair treatments, no heat, no blow drying, filtered shower water, you name it. TWO YEARS OF DEDICATION!! Then you come along & in less than 24 hours you manage to absolutely detroy everything I've worked so hard on for the past 2 years. You lied to me over & over & over again during the Premiere Beauty Show. I asked you several times about the integrity of my hair & if my hair could handle the multiple processes you were doing. You assured me my hair was still healthy & nothing was wrong. Those were all lies but I think you knew that already. I have been crying every single day since the hair show. I can't look in the mirror. I don't want to even touch my hair because it feels like a brillo pad. My hair is BREAKING OFF AT THE SCALP. So, let's go through the chain of events. You put bleach on my hair for well over an HOUR with zero cares about the wellbeing of my hair or my scalp. You then dye my roots & tone the rest of my hair. At that point my hair should of been left alone but NOO you decide to have someone else who had no idea about the correct formulas put more color on my roots. You shouted across a crowded room expecting your ASSISTANT to hear you & make the correct formula. The color started to burn my scalp due to the over processsing. Then YOU decided to slap MORE BLEACH on already compromised hair & leave that on for 15 more mins when honestly all you needed was a clear with 10vol or 20vol to lift but YOU chose bleach the most damaging, but I digress. Then you added more toner & used non stop heat on it. Once I got home & saw the damage I was absolutely horrified to the point of severe depression & not eating for several days. Over the past month, my hair, no matter how delicate I am, is breaking off at the scalp. The entire front of my hair is orange and broken off at the scalp. I had burns on my scalp, ears and back of my neck. Your negligence severly injured me not only physically but mentally as well. Not to mention my agency is LIVID after what you all did to my hair. I'm a signed model with two different agencies that I can no longer work with until my hair grows out which will take a minimum of 7 months to two years and it's hair show season! I've already lost out in $10,000 worth of bookings. You were reckless, careless & aggressive with my hair, scalp, head & neck. Don't even get me started on the fact that it's summer in Florida & I can't even go to the pool because of the chlorine and my hair. What you did has severly negativity impacted my life. Who does this to someone? Like, honestly? What were you thinking? This isn't 2010 you can't destroy someone's entire head of hair that they use to make a living with and just run off to Miami like nothing ever happened. The internet and social media exist now. You out of all people should know once you damage someone's hair to this extent it's extremely possible that my hair will never grow back the same as it was. The beautiful wavey natural texture to my hair is now gone and it's very possible that it will never come back now. I have nightmares about what happened & I don't want anyone to touch me ever again. Which means I don't even know how to think about fixing this because I don't trust a single soul to touch me ever again. She greeted me, was super warm and even shared Cuban coffee with me. While I had my consultation with her, she showed me her work. After seeing her clients hair, I had enough confidence to tell her to do whatever she wanted. My hair was almost down to my butt, damaged and had different colors in it..but most of all, random pieces of black dye. She cut out all the damage parts, seamlessly worked in layers and corrected my hair color. Since it's summer time, she suggested that an ombré or highlights would look beautiful..I'm mixed and tan easily, so I didn't want to look weird. And again, she showed me her clients and how natural she makes the color. There's nothing worse than orangey hair when you're trying to achieve a golden tone! I scheduled my next appointment with her the following week and she put in partial highlights. I love the honey color but most of all, I love that I found a hair stylist I can trust! The highlights make my eyes and skin pop so bright, I'm so happy! Beach Club is pricey but I'd rather spend the money on amazing service. I've had so many nightmares in the past. I just lucked out with a groupon deal because salons are always looking for new clients.

She claimed no time for highlights, but I guess wanted to make money of some sort so instead of rescheduling, she did roots (made them red) and put a toner on my hair (which washed out!) Why not wait and do it right then? I should have NEVER been told to come on in. So instead of highlights, we decided to try to fix the yellow hair and she wanted to do color on my roots claiming she could tone down the red. Within one week, bright red roots and bright yellow hair- worse than before I came in. I even showed her a photo AND told her NO red and I wanted white blonde. After spending almost $200 - and no I didn't tip the owner.... in the sun my roots were on fire - bright red when I specifically said NO RED and the rest my blonde hair was back to being yellow.. When the leaving the salor the temporary toner had worked - TEMPORARILY! She didn't color correct, but rather put a temporary toner that washed out (I could have done that myself for $20.00) and I could have made my own roots bright red for about $10.00. For me a total waste of my money. She claims if I had just done highlights the red and yellow would have been handled. So why tell me to come in??? Unfortunately, I don't trust her, so I won't be going back. Basically spent almost $200 and a week later worse than what I came in with. I never did my own hair, only touched up roots. Sadly, I could have given myself red roots and kept my yellow hair.- which was given to me by a great hairdresser, who did a beautiful job for about 4 years and then one day, being too busy, he made it all yellow. Anyway, I've had great hairdressers, but this was not one of them. She is probably best for brown hair not blonde on non-latinas. For me a total waste of money.
