She was very thorough during the consultation to make sure I understand what she is about to do and that I also get what I came in for. My original hair was highlighted (super bleached/ashy) and had a bad layered cut (turns out I had a mullet I wasn't aware of lol). I wanted to return to my natural color and also get a cut to even out my layers. Within two hours, Hanh achieved the color and cut seamlessly through proper and detailed steps to repair my damaged hair. My experience with her was fantastic. She is so bubbly and fun to talk to and she is an expert in her field. I have never learned so much about hair ever in my life! Even for styling, she gave so many tips. Hanh immediately put me at ease with her warm, funny, and welcoming personality. She's genuinely so kind. We were first timers at this establishment and booked through Yelp. Somehow there was a misunderstanding between the owner and the stylist with the kind of appointment we booked. The stylist thought my mom was only getting a cut rather than the whole 9 for color correcting, blending, dying grays with a low maintenance cut with bangs to frame her face & some layers to fix the blunt cut she had from a different stylist in Utah. We were told we were scheduled with amber to complete my mom's hair however due to the misunderstanding & amber having prior engagements, was only able to get a cut from her. We anticipated having to come back the following day to finish her hair but Amber & Priscilla were the ultimate life savers and power teamed my moms hair to ensure we received everything we scheduled for so we would leave happy. It was one of those days when I desperately needed something new--and my hairstylist at the time just wasn't cutting it...literally! I'm so happy I came across Rock Paper Scissors-Chino on Instagram. I reached out to ask if anyone was available for a haircut and color that afternoon, and to my surprise, Nadeen called me right away and said she could see me in 30 minutes. I told her, "I'm on my way!" From the moment I walked in and Nadeen greeted me, I immediately felt at ease. She asked what I wanted, listened carefully, answered all my questions, and gave me her honest professional opinion. Seven months later, I still see Nadeen about every 6-7 weeks for color, toner, root touch-ups, trims, and haircuts--so I never miss one. Emergencies come up and I am very disappointed how this situation was handled. This salon basically stole money and don't care about people or customers. I canceled my daughter's appointment due to her becoming sick this evening. This salon didn't care after explaining my situation. I didn't cancel just because I felt like it, I had a legit reason. I guess if someone gets hospitalized or dies they will still charge you the cancellation fee. Once I got off the phone with them they automatically charged my card. I will be disputing this charge with my credit card. Don't give your business to this salon! They steal money and don't care for their customers! There should be exceptions for certain circumstances and not be greedy. This salon is not run right. My husband wrote a review on his own account and I did my own. We have the right to do that. There's no policy on yelp who can write a review. The owner responded and is getting defensive, so that should tell you something.
