I had a very disappointing experience at this salon. From the moment I arrived, the stylist was…read morerude, unwelcoming, and unprofessional. Instead of greeting me respectfully, she spoke to me sarcastically and even questioned whether I could "afford" the service, repeating several times that "not everyone can afford to come here honey." This was completely unnecessary and very disrespectful. I was originally quoted $300-$400 for two hair pieces to be lightened, with no color, trim, or additional services included. When I arrived, the price suddenly increased to over $700, and I was told that $400 was "just the starting point," which had never been mentioned before. She also removed my extensions but did not reinstall them, yet still charged me. She made it clear she didn't know how to work with the type of extensions I had, which was frustrating because I just placement them recently. Overall, her customer service skills were extremely lacking. The experience felt disrespectful, unprofessional, and far below what any client should expect. I would NOT recommend this salon, especially if you value clear communication, fair pricing, and basic respect. I originally came to her for color and highlights. The first appointment was over $500, and while the dimension looked nice when I left, the color faded extremely quickly within just a few washes. I reached out politely to let her know, and she offered to gloss it , which I understood as simply refreshing the tone. Instead, my entire head was turned into a single dark chocolate color. All of my highlights were completely covered, my hair became several shades darker than what I originally paid for, and the dimension I loved was gone. None of this was discussed with me during the service. She didn't even fully dry my hair before I left, so I couldn't see the true result until I got home. My hair was already dry from the first appointment, and this additional processing made things worse. When I reached out to express confusion and concern, she did not take responsibility or apologize. Her responses were dismissive, and at one point she simply replied "Ok," which made it clear she didn't care about the impact the service had on my hair or how I felt as a client. It was deeply unprofessional and left me feeling unheard. Throughout all of this, I remained kind, calm, and respectful. I work in the beauty industry myself, and I believe strongly in treating clients the way I would want to be treated , with care, honesty, and accountability. When a mistake is made, it's our job to take responsibility and make it right, unless a client is being truly abusive. That wasn't the case here at all, which is why her coldness and lack of remorse were so confusing and disappointing. Weeks later, my hair is still not the same color or look I originally paid for. I had a future appointment booked, which I canceled with plenty of notice, and politely asked for my deposit back. Only then did she inform me that deposits are nonrefundable , something that was never communicated at booking. She insisted the policy had been stated, but it absolutely was not. Keeping a client's money when they cancel days in advance, especially after a service that went wrong, is not ethically or professionally acceptable. Overall, my experience with Diana showed: Lack of communication during the service No accountability when the result was not what I asked for Dismissive responses when I expressed concern No empathy or care for the health of my hair Uncommunicated policy used to keep a deposit after poor service A cold, unprofessional attitude toward a client who was nothing but kind I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was stressful, expensive, and handled with very little professionalism or integrity.
