Amazing experience with Dalia so kind and did exactly what I needed. I came in with damaged dry hair that had been dyed red with Henna but she was able to remove most of it and add blended highlights. I love it so much thank you again!!

Came to Dalia's four years ago and my hair situation was not to my liking , every time i would color and highlight it would turn to orange/brassy color until finally Dalia took out the brown color and decided to highlight my hair on my natural color , it was the best thing anyone had done to my hair . Dalia did a wonderful job getting me glammed up with hair and makeup for a formal South Asian wedding. The eye makeup, in particular, was exactly what I wanted, dramatic gold but still elegant. I did find her cheek contour a bit too dark for my taste, so I blended some color blush into it. But otherwise her makeup was spot on and perfect for the event. I loved my hair too! She also did a brilliant job of hair and makeup on my sister and mom. I will definitely use her services again.

Dalia has done my hair and makeup for a couple of events now and I always leave feeling so beautiful. One event was for my grandmothers 100th bday party and the other was a Mexican fiesta themed party. She is creative and has an eye for making women feel confident and accentuating their features. I went in on Oct 15th with Dalia for a 9am appointment. I got there a bit early and she was already there and ready for me. Very friendly and very welcoming. The salon was gorgeous and she did things so smoothly and in a great timely fashion. It didn't even feel as long she was so fun. My hair after was so smooth and nicely styled with a nice shine to it. She did fine. The whole process felt a little rushed and she's cash only apparently. I disclosed my feeling about my hair and she promised she knew what hairstyle would suit me best. However, I felt discouraged when she blew dry my hair after cutting it and proceeding to rewash my hair and re-blow drying it. I would not recommend her for cutting Asian hair. read more

Dalia is the most professional hair stylist around. She is fun and she is always very sweet. She took extra care of my hair ( as in looking fabulous and health wise), and gave me the best treatment (she would spend twice the required amount of time just so the results would be extra-amazing). She made a plan to make sure I would get the results I wanted and made real expectation. She also takes care to listen to my wishes and is always kind,warm and never rude. I was referred to Dalia a few months ago when my hair dresser decided to take a break from hair. I was gutsy enough to do some thing that I've never done before with her because she made me feel very comfortable! I have course had a million questions for her and Dalia was patient with me the entire time and answered all of my questions precisely. I went from dark brunette to full light golden blonde highlights throughout my hair but i wanted to do it gradually that way my hair didn't get damaged and Dalia did just that! Salon was very clean, Dalia was wearing a mask the entire time, they limit the guest capacity inside and they cleaned in between every customer. I came to this salon because I was told the owner can do my hair.... As soon as I got there She started working on my hair & I let her know it was damaged and she still kept working on my hair and didn't even complete it. I was told that my hair couldn't be finished after everything was already done so she basically took my money and trimmed my hair( and charged me for that without even letting me know) . $50 ! for a " trim" .. Instead of greeting me respectfully, she spoke to me sarcastically and even questioned whether I could "afford" the service, repeating several times that "not everyone can afford to come here honey." This was completely unnecessary and very disrespectful. I was originally quoted $300-$400 for two hair pieces to be lightened, with no color, trim, or additional services included. When I arrived, the price suddenly increased to over $700, and I was told that $400 was "just the starting point," which had never been mentioned before. She also removed my extensions but did not reinstall them, yet still charged me. She made it clear she didn't know how to work with the type of extensions I had, which was frustrating because I just placement them recently. Overall, her customer service skills were extremely lacking. The experience felt disrespectful, unprofessional, and far below what any client should expect. I would NOT recommend this salon, especially if you value clear communication, fair pricing, and basic respect. I initially messaged Judy and waited over a week and nothing. So then I messaged Rayhana and she got back to me right away, even scheduled me in. I was beyond excited. I get to the salon and her assistant greeted me (not a smile) and stated Rayhana would be in shortly. I waited a bit and then Rayhana finally showed up but very unfriendly and dismissive. Not a smile either. Now, I don't expect people to always be smiling. But I am paying for your services, you being friendly is a part of the customer service you provide for your business. There wasn't even friendly convo. She was very serious and dry. She just asked about my hair history and what I wanted, that pretty much sums up all the convo we had. Maybe a few sentences here and there. Then a regular customer seemed to have walked in because her and her assistants demeanor changed to smiling and laughing and conversing with her. So it wasn't that they were in a bad mood or just having a bad morning. They were choosing who to be friendly/nice to. It also bothered me that her assistant did half my hair. I'm supposed to be paying more bc the owner Rayhana is doing my hair... so why is she having her assistant do most of her work. The assistant also washed my hair; toned it; and blow dryed it. When my hair was done, it was too blonde and then one side seemed to not match the other? And I told her and she had the nerve to say "i can't do it even/perfect. I am not a robot" she said "I am not a robot" about 3-5 times. I was beyond irritated. Plus she charged me $90 for a haircut. $90!! When she didn't spend more than 10 minutes cutting it. 5-10min cut. Outrageous. Never coming back here again. Poor service customer. Not friendly at all. They pick and choose.

Booking an appointment was easy on the website, but during the holidays, the schedule was booked up for about 2 weeks out. Jade Hair Studio is a suite located inside the Sola Salon Studios in a plaza off the Arrow Hwy exit of the 57 freeway. Parking is plenty in that plaza. Because of Covid, you have to dial into a intercom system to get a hold of your stylist to let you in since the front doors are locked. Waiting outside the Sola Salon doors was not the best during a rainy windy day and with transients walking around the plaza asking for change, but there are some salon owners who are nice and will let you wait inside the lobby area. Kim, the owner/stylist of Jade Hair Studio, is very friendly and easy to talk to. For the Brazilian Blowout treatment, if you have long hair, you should account for the entire 4 hours because she is meticulous and diligent with every strand. I really appreciated her being thorough. A week after the treatment, my hair still feels very soft and much less frizzy after blow drying. I got many compliments from coworkers about how shiny and healthy my hair looks. Hope to come back in a few months again for the hair treatment again!

Dalia is a true artist! I was looking to get my makeup done for my (postponed) college graduation ceremony and I'm so glad I found Dalia's listing on Yelp. I had never been to a salon for anything before except hairstyling and I was really nervous but Dalia helped me relax. She even took one look and had me get my eyebrows threaded (also first time). I got quite a few compliments that day, from a lady waiting her turn in the salon to some fellow college grads, and it was all worth it. I called her and booked with her, and when I arrived at her, I found the place very clean and the sterilization was amazing and a wonderful reception. After all I started styling my hair and makeup. I needed a very very last minute appointment (hair and makeup) for an event before my wedding, so I put in a request on Yelp and Dalia replied immediately! She was so responsive and so kind to accommodate me very early in the morning. With all the wedding chaos, I was one of those bad clients running late, and she was very fast and efficient for me because she knew I had a busy day ahead! I had gotten a balayage done at a different salon that went horribly wrong, my hair was bright bleached blonde and like rough straw, I thought I would have to cut it all off it was so bad. I started looking around to find someone who could fix it and I found Dalia Assaf. She is miracle worker!!! Dalia was more than happy to see me and I have to say it was a truly wonderful experience! She spent about 3 hours on my hair after work...
