My polish is uneven and my nails are so messed up. I asked for just a touch up on my brows and ended up leaving with stick thin eyebrows and wax all over my face and in my fair. You can imagine my panic of who was I going to find in the mountains right? BECKY at Salon E. She actually did a color correction after I made the mistake of going to a 'high end' stroudsburg shop. Becky took her time, was very meticulous, and patient. She even corrected the cut I got. I didn't feel rushed or like the shop was just trying to fill the chairs. The hair washing was important as well, she got in in scalp and scrubbed. Some places it feels like they don't even get down to the scalp. They take their time and the styling was also important. Becky took her time to dry a section at a time and curl. I loved it. Shop is small but very cute. And what they may not have in the size of the shop they certainly have in skill. Definitely recommend. You will not be disappointed.

She went back not even 24 hrs later to show that her polish was all chipped up and all they said was that was normal when you only polish your nails. She requested a refund and they would Not honor her a refund. This was such a waste of time and money. To say that the nail polish chips and it's normal and to not even want to make it right is just preposterous. One thing for sure is my daughter will Never be going back here again nor will she ever recommend this place to anyone.

I regret going back…read morethis time :( first- I'm very pregnant so I wanted to treat myself to a mani pedi before baby comes. Nail tech ended up making me bleed while doing my cuticles, and I bled A LOT. He had to apply pressure for several minutes to the cut he made on my cuticle/skin. Then he went to do a stone massage, I felt the water and told him it was much too hot. It was way hotter than it should have been. He looked at me and proceeded to pour the bowl of super hot water on both my legs and I even made a noise because it was so uncomfortable. He had me get out of the pedi chair myself, normally not a problem but I am 35 weeks pregnant. it took me a while to get out and he just stared at me the entire time. I even looked at him ready to ask him for a hand but he was really impatient with me. we do the mani and I asked for a simple French, regular polish. things are going better and then he cuts tooo deep on cuticle again and I bleed enough where he has to apply pressure with a small gauze. he did it again on another finger. My cuticles are very red on that hand now. then he doesn't finish the manicure and has someone else do it. this person finishes the manicure in record time but left me to dry at the manicure table for at least 30 mins with nothing drying my nails. eventually I had to ask if I should go over to the drying station instead and someone brings me over. everyone else around me gets a brief shoulder massage but they didn't do that for me. I thought OK they must be busy. I wait a little bit until I'm dry until I look at the time and realize I need to leave so I can eat because I'm starting to feel sick. It's been about 2 hours now (not so bad on a busy day maybe but because I didn't get gel or dip or anything I guess I thought it would be faster) get up and see that my heels are still wrapped in Saran Wrap with callus softener on them even though he finished my pedi!!!! At this point my hormones were starting to make me really emotional and I decided to leave without tipping (I paid a full $75 for the service) the manager chased me out and asked me why I didn't tip, so I told her everything. I've never felt the need to do something like that before. Within an hour of leaving, I not only chip some of the French tip off, my nail CRACKED! I am so disappointed and will have to figure out a way to fix it myself. wanted to do something relaxing before I give birth in a few weeks but it was anything but. :( I'm also feeling a lot of guilt, I've never had this bad of an experience there, and everyone else looked like they got a great service. my mother in law came with me and she was so happy, her tech was so nice and nails look amazing. Anthony didn't listen when I said I wanted square, "just take the sharpness off the corner so it doesn't catch on everything" (my nails were square when I went in). He did squoval, I ended up losing half my nail length for him to correct the shape. Also they used 3 coats of polish on my toenails, which have a good coverage and even color, Anthony only used 2 coats on my fingernails thus my toes are darker and a more solid color than my fingernails (it looks like someone tried to match it but didn't have the correct color). Going to have to go pay another salon to change the color. If you value your nail length don't go! My nails are very difficult to grow and this was this first time ever they got that long without any tips, I'm very disappointed. $110.00 plus $20 in tips wasted.how long my nails were before and where that are now.

While I did appreciate the time she took to make sure my nails were done nicely, I just can't look past leaving with a wound on my foot because she didn't care enough to pay attention. I'm just hoping I do not get an infection after I saw they clean their nail products and hot rocks with soap and water in the same sink we wash our nails in. There is also a dog caged in the back which just seems super unsanitary as well.
