The pedicure by Nancy was amazing. Nancy is amazing, actually the only reason I tried this salon. My nails were another story. Anthony didn't listen when I said I wanted square, "just take the sharpness off the corner so it doesn't catch on everything" (my nails were square when I went in). He did squoval, I ended up losing half my nail length for him to correct the shape. Also they used 3 coats of polish on my toenails, which have a good coverage and even color, Anthony only used 2 coats on my fingernails thus my toes are darker and a more solid color than my fingernails (it looks like someone tried to match it but didn't have the correct color). Going to have to go pay another salon to change the color. If you value your nail length don't go! My nails are very difficult to grow and this was this first time ever they got that long without any tips, I'm very disappointed. $110.00 plus $20 in tips wasted.how long my nails were before and where that are now. read more

This is my go-to nail place that I always recommend it to my friends and family. I always make an appointment with Andy--he is great! He does a great job every time and we have the most hilarious conversations. He has such a great personality. I always get compliments on my nails when he does them. Anthony (the owner) is another great, talented guy with a friendly/goofy personality. I am a fan of unique/different nail designs and they don't do the super fancy designs as seen on Pinterest, etc, but if you show them a picture, they will try or they may modify it. During COVID they are always masked and require you to mask as well. They also have plastic barriers between you and them while they are doing your nails. Pricewise: I always get an acrylic fill with all gel polish--I also typically get some kind of design on all 10 of my fingers or at least 4 and I pay around $42. To keep the price down you can get regular polish or a gel topcoat over regular polish. read more

So I went back thinking everything would be the same I had accidentally broke 4 nails all together on both hands at work. So when I walk in it's a new guy, I had seen him before being very aggravated by a young girl who had accidentally touched her nails (kid's sitting still not easy ) but her mom had kind of neutralized the situation well this time I get this guy, he says what do u want me to do with these???? Talking abt my broken nails I said well if you need to remove the rest and charge for a full set that's fine or just replace what I broke your choice. He then tells me that my nails are too long that's why they broke ( no buddy it's because I am in healthcare) So he removed the rest huffing and puffing as he did. Not a word was spoken until he told me to stop holding my hand this way or move it that way . He yells at me watch what your doing your going to screw it up. I literally could hear the silence in the place as he spoke so loud. My nails were good I am not going to say he wasn't good it for me is all about my experience. If I could of picked up and walked out I would of. I even was so mad inside I could feel tears. Why be mean to people for no reason? If your not happy with your job find another. I won't be back. No matter how good of a nail tech you are a little smile goes a long way and I still left a great tip! I believe that someone called him Tony not Anthony Tony. read more

Worst experience of my life. I asked for a design and it turned out nothing like I asked for. The design required a design nail with the same color as the rest of the nails. The design color did not match the color of the rest of my nails so there was plain nail polish painted over the $50 dip nails. The nails do not have a clean shape and are jagged. The consistency over the nail is not smooth and there are clear lumps that should have been filed over. Just to point out I asked clearly if the lady could do the design and she said yes, I would have chosen a different design if this was to complex. 0/10 I will never go again. read more

I just visited Xpress Nails after the COVID 19 stay at home switched from yellow to green. I made sure to make an appointment and glad I did as they were super busy. The people that work here are very efficient, friendly, and attentive. I got a pedicure and had gel toenails done with French manicure style. They looked great and I am very happy with them. Prices are fair and as I said customer service is great. Just make sure you make an appointment so you are able to secure a spot. Definitely recommend! read more

Great little nail place in a small shopping center. They greeted us quickly and started working on our nails immediately. They were thorough and professional. They did not try to up-sell any extra services - which is unusual in many nail salons. I'd visit them again if I lived in the area. One additional plus is that the staff spoke English almost the entire time we were there. Sometimes people who speak another language tend to speak to each other in that language regardless of who is around. The staff at this nail salon spoke great English and chatted with us in English during our visit. read more

if I could give a zero or a negative # I would, that's how bad my experience with this salon has been. Be advised this salon has kept the same name, but, closed/reopened & changed hands/ownership many times in the last 10 yrs., when Mimi was there. Now "Anthony", who has worked in every salon in Wyoming Valley, supposedly is the current owner. This salon is not current with Pa State Licensure re: Cosmetology training/educational requirements, inspections, etc. Also, I've had mani/pedi locally for 20+ yrs. & NEVER been injured/cut with a GRINDER? type file used for this pedi in Jan 2014. To be brief: non-English speaking male cut my foot so badly he couldn't stop the bleeding, resulted in 2 Podiatry appts., 10-day antibiotic for infection & X-ray of foot. Unable to wear normal shoes to work for 8 weeks! (Also, upon limping out of salon the day of appt., I asked to speak w/owner-mgr. to show him the injured area. Response was "I'll take $5.00 off the price".) I was aghast at the unconcerned attitude after I sat in pain & was expected to pay for the experience. I did end up not being charged for the Pedi, only the gel nail fill. Beware & read anything "very closely" that may LOOK like a Pa State Licensure Certificate hanging on the wall....... read more
