I had a consultation with Sonya and we worked out a strategy to achieve what I wanted for my brows. I got them done twice in VA, both several years ago and they had started to fade a bluish/greenish brown from the dark brown they had been. This is actually the second local salon I visited for this service, the first told me I'd need to have them lasered off before starting over. Sonya evaluated and said she could fix them no problem. The first session we worked on the color correction and kept the shape mostly the same. The second session (a month later) we finalized the color and went a little bigger on the shape. The final session (a month later) we finished the shape and I ended up with exactly what I wanted. The process was easy, I felt informed every step of the way and Sonya is clearly an expect in her craft. As mentioned above, I have also been going to this salon for my eyelashes for a few months with Maria. She is also an expert at her craft and I always love my lashes. I have been very happy with my experience at Epo Beauty and I'm looking forward to seeing the new space.

I can't recommend this place highly enough!…read more Due to wrist surgery, I was unable to thoroughly shampoo my hair and scalp and in desperation asked Lotus Salon and Spa for just a shampoo. I'm an old swimmer and jock and don't mind walking around with wet hair, especially as built-in cooling in the heat lately, lol, plus I'm retired and no longer have to be camera-ready -- hooray! And wow, what a GREAT shampoo! Absolutely amazing, just like my mother would do for her girls when we were growing up. A lovely scalp massage was part of it, and really thorough cleaning and conditioning. Point one, I can't believe it only cost $20. And point two, I'm sure my mother was looking down from heaven, so pleased that her tomboy daughter was finally taking care of herself like the lady she always hoped I would be, herself having gone to the "beauty parlor" once a week for a wash and set. Sorry, mom, I'll be back to my basic self-care routines again soon, but this time, thanks to Lotus Salon and Spa, I'll kinda miss being a well-tended lady for a while.

They offer appointments ranging from 20-60 minutes, and facials start at $89, which I think is an amazing price point. I came in with wet hair after a workout and was in and out in about an hour, leaving with an immediate glow! My esthetician, Aryanna, was AMAZING. We clicked right away and genuinely spent most of the appointment chatting, which made the experience feel so comfortable and personalized. She also gave me skincare recommendations based on my skin and customized the facial to what I needed. I especially loved that extractions were included in my facial. They also offer brows, lashes, waxing, and skincare services, so it's a great spot for a little self-care reset. Plus, there's free parking at North Hills, which makes it super convenient. I'll definitely be back!

I've debated about leaving this review because it's always tough exposing the truth but I've…read moredecided that Joyee needs to see this so that she can learn how to run a business and perform consistency. First off, my appointment was scheduled for 12:30pm. While in the parking lot, I called her to let her know that I was having trouble finding the suite. Nevertheless, she forwards my call to voicemail on both attempts which I found to be very weird, but I ended up walking in at 12:28pm because I found it on my own. She comes out of her room and tells me to have a seat because she's still with a client. At 12:42pm, she and her client who is also Asian like herself, walk out laughing and chatting. I even comment on how her client's lashes were pretty but they were definitely not my style! Joyee takes me back and I feel as though she rushed through it. They looked OK and when she was finished, I decided to look in the mirror for a couple of minutes to see how I actually felt about them but guess what? She didn't even give me a chance! Once she saw me looking in the mirror, she immediately distracts me by saying "oh you left your phone on the bed, clumsy" which was very unprofessional. I didn't leave my phone, I knew exactly where it was. I was double checking to see if I even liked the lashes and I have a feeling that she knew it wasn't a good job which is why she tried to distract me with the phone comment. At that point, she hurries and gives me my phone and walks me to my car because I told her my puppy was out there and we discussed her taking a glance at him. By the time I drive off, I checked the time and it was precisely 2:01pm. (Just 1 minute over the scheduled time) So what was the rush for? I waited almost 15 minutes for her during my scheduled appointment time yet she rushes me?? The audacity. At any rate, I have photos included of what I wanted versus what I got so that you all can see the truth for yourselves! When I put on mascara it looks far better than what she did. The REAL reviews for this company are on other platforms like Groupon; you just have to research to find them. She blocks any 1 star reviews on Google so that she keeps getting new clients. Maybe you have to be Asian for her to do a good job here. But then again, the client who was before me didn't leave looking too great so eh who knows. If you want to be experimented on, this is the place to come to because Joyee is definitely still learning her way through this. She doesn't even list the fill in prices like ALL lash techs have on their website , instead she has "price will vary". Probably varying on the needs of her own bank account and how much she feels inclined to charge based on the day of the week. Strip lashes from the beauty supply store could easily supersede what she does here. Nothing but a waste of money!!!
