I got a perm from another stylist 2 weeks before my haircut with Belle. The perm left my hair extremely damaged and I didn't know how to style it, so I just had it up in a clip everyday. Belle gave me the perfect haircut to accentuate the curls and get rid of most of the damage. I feel incredibly light and free. I trust Belle 100% with my hair - she really really really knows what she is doing! She's so attentive to lifestyle and the needs of her clients. I don't think I will ever trust anyone else to cut my hair again, unless it's Belle (like, I would literally fly to her if I needed a haircut). Edit: I have received more compliments on my hair than I can count... from nearly all the people in my life and perfect strangers :)

As another reviewer mentioned this is so very much more than a trip to the salon! Belle is a radiant spirit and I have never felt more comfortable or important with a stylist as I did with Belle. To the details, first making the appointment was a breeze. I had some issues with making an appointment on her website (since fixed) so I sent an email to request the appointment. Her quick response was a plus and the information she provided was terrific. From the beginning I had a sense that she was invested in me and I had hope that this was going to be a good experience. I was an amazing experience! From the moment she greeted me I felt comfortable, it was like meeting an old friend. Additionally, this is the first time I've ever met with a stylist that I did not feel judged. I had no make-up on, my dull hair was pulled back and I looked...what do you call a step below super casual? You'll see in the before and after pics that Belle took. I had a cut, color and make-up lesson. While my color was processing Belle also invited me to meditate with her. The meditation was powerful and so needed for me at this particular time in my life. I was looking for a radically different look and Belle explained the pros and cons of each color choice I was considering. I settled on a Jet Black and I loooooovvvvvveeee it! Belle is also the very first stylist that has given me the exact haircut that I wanted. It's amazing and comfortable. My hair feels and looks great. The make-up lesson was fantastic. I love how she does this. She would do one step on one side of my face and have me to the same step on the other side. She explained everything and was very helpful and hands on correcting my technique. At the end of our time together, I was transformed. I'm also getting a little emotional writing this, because, after a long and difficult four years, I honestly felt beautiful. I can't thank Belle enough for that. She is amazing, comforting and hands down the best stylist that I have ever been to. Do yourself a favor and make an appointment now! See for yourself the amazing work she can do!

You could practically eat off the floor. My loctician was Kadesha, and she was wonderful. I was definitely past due for my retie, but she was so gentle that my entire head felt like it had received a massage. Her work was neat, she was quick and efficient, and most of all, she was incredibly pleasant. The atmosphere in the salon was professional, lighthearted, and fun. The conversation was enjoyable, and everyone seemed comfortable. I was also very impressed with the owner. She moved throughout the salon checking on clients, assisting other locticians when needed, and staying fully aware of what was going on around her. She was kind, attentive, and clearly very knowledgeable. She also had a client of her own who left looking absolutely amazing. They happened to be short-staffed that day, so the salon was busier and a little more crowded than the last time I visited. Even so, everything continued to run smoothly. And I swear, every single person who walked out of that salon left smiling, whether they came in for a retie or a style. Every client left happy, and so did I. Lock Lovin' is clean, professional, welcoming, efficient, and full of talented people. I will absolutely be returning.
