I was first brought in for a consultation to test patch my hair and once it was cleared, I was able to come in for a full hair appointment. I have been going to this hair salon on and off over many years because of the mixed experiences…read moreevery time. I only go if I really have to or it is convenient to me since it's close by. A day or two prior I walked in to schedule my appointment so she could get an idea of my hair. I scheduled and left. Error 1 should have gotten a PRICE‼On 9/4 I arrived a few minutes earlier than my appointment time and was instructed to sit and wait as the lady finished up doing one of the coworkers hair. 3:06 She began detangling my naturally curly hair. I had sent her pictures the day prior so she could get an idea of what I wanted on my hair. Again I Should have asked for a PRICE estimate‼I wish I had a picture of what she first tried to do to my hair honestly nothing to do with the pictures I sent her and When I told her that was Not at all what I wanted her attitude changed as if she was frustrated because I was correcting her. It was like the hairstyles I do on my daughter! My sister does better french braids & I could tell in her hand movements she doesn't have much practice doing this braids and on the curls she DID NOT put any hair spray they were messed up AND GONE within the hour! For $85 dollars hairspray for good hd would have been nice I will never be going back for a hairstyle. Even the hair parting at top looks like a little girl did it! Seriously! She should have just told she didn't know how to french braid and I SHOULD HAVE ASKED FOR PRICING FIRST‼Lesson Learned‼ This is definitely not an $85 hairstyle‼Very disappointed in the service and will never be getting a hairstyle here again. Seriously this was a total Ripoff.

I have super fine hair with a healthy dose of "frosting" (shiny gray/silver infiltrating where my real color should be!). It's hard enough to find someone this talented with cutting baby-fine hair to begin with, but then Leidi gave me a color that really complimented my skin tone and even when it fades it looks fabulous! She gets the cut exactly right every single time, which makes it so much easier for me to manage my hair. Thanks Leidi! You're so talented and I'm so grateful I found you!

I wanted a nice dramatic change to my hair and she DID THAT. I'm always worried about getting my hair cut and colored because I usually don't leave completely satisfied, but not this time! She chopped off about a foot of hair for me and gave me the color I wanted in one sitting. It's not often that you can find someone that can do color AND cut really well. I usually have to go to two different people, one for color and one for cut. She's truly just a magician LOL. Thanks Leidi, I'll be back!

BOOK NOW AND THANK ME LATER! Epitome of Jazzy was named…read morecorrectly! (EPITOME - a person or thing that is a perfect example of a particular quality or type) These 3 young ladies are perfected in their craft and give unique creations! I started getting my hair done for the first time 2 years ago. I knew what I wanted but was told it couldn't be done or I was provided a jacked up version of what I requested. The experiences were so horrible I nearly gave up (and trust me, I tried over 9 times in total to get someone who knew their assignment)! About 6 months ago I started my research again. Going to the extreme to make sure I wasn't lied to again and came across the photos on instagram of Epitome.by. Jazzy and let's just say I was floored. Here was the styles and information listed under each picture. Was it too good to be true? NOPE! When I booked my appt, I was able to book a consult where ALL my questions were answered over the phone and not by text. She treated me like the only customer and answered in a way I understood the process, the hair types and what was needed for my appt. I've never received that type of professionalism. Either my questions were ignored, or they responded to half of what I asked them. If I had further questions I was able to ask them by text or messenger. When I showed up for my appt Jasmine was very warm and inviting. The process then started! She washed and dried my hair (That has never happened! I always had to have it washed and dried by the time I showed up and my drying skills was never on point) Those hands are gifted! She scratched the life back into my scalp! The wash alone was what I thought would be the highlight of my appt. She then dried my hair with as much care as she washed it! It was amazing! She then made sure I was comfortable before she started and then those magical hands started the process of making my hair look fabulous! I explained I suffer from migraines but had nothing to worry about because I had to actually look at my head when we took a break because her flow is so good, you can't feel it but you can here those hands move swiftly and quickly. The style I chose was human hair braids with free flowing hair on the ends. Normally what I get is braiding hair then the human hair is glued to the ends (I was told that is how it was done by several stylist or the used synthetic mix and while trying to curl the ends, I realized I didn't get human hair ....but I paid them for it). Jasmine adds that hair swiftly, precisely and caring for the fact she's in your head, so she does it gently while slaying you in the process. When she was finished, that hair was everything I imagined it could be! Perfect parts, neat and perfect tiny braids, not to much hair, and trimmed just a bit to match the length I requested. She amazing and if you book with her, you won't be sorry! They also do color, cuts and locs. You can book to take the hair down or book to refresh your crown! They're a full service salon with 3 of the most amazing young ladies I've ever met! Thank you Jasmine! I'm loving my hair and getting a ton of compliments!
