I dont even know where to begin! I have been to Beauty Bazaar several times over the last few months for full face threading, full make up, hair cut and blowout and facials. Every experience has been 1000% amazing and I feel so great afterwards. Both Neeru and Eksha are amazing brow specialists - they are consistent and always get my arch right! Neeru did a full facial before my wedding and was able to remove blackheads on my eyebrows that I thought were permanent spots! It was amazing! Definitely worth the process - I was GLOWING. Eksha has also done my hair and make up on several occasions. She does gorgeous eye make up, and always get my skin color right with the foundation which is so hard to do on a darker skin tone. Now this is a long, overdue review. Ladies (and gents), if you're anything like me and naturally a little furry, you will appreciate this. Like the other reviewers, I've been following Neeru and her daughters, Eksha and Nupur, for about 8 years now and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my eyebrows. They do an amazing job with precision and technique, having you leave with beautifully shaped brows! Their salon is so cute. Located across the street from Diamond Bar high school, it's roomy and beautifully decorated, equipped with spa pedicure stations and hair styling stations. In addition, they offer a variety of other services for skin care (ie., facials and other skin treatments), hair, waxing, and make-up, of which are supposed to be so good that customers come from all over. (Once I was waiting and there was a lady I was talking to who came from Victorville for a Brazilian wax and a facial.) Personally, I've done a variety of hair treatments and skin treatments and would go no where else (: In addition to such amazing service, they're affordable and always so accommodating - even when their store hours are explicitly posted, they'll always go the extra mile to help out with anything, sometimes even staying later just to take me after work. I lovvvvvvvvveeeeeeee Neeru, Eksha, and Nupur and have been following them around (slash stalking them) for at least the past 5 years, and am loving their new Beauty Bazaar location!! Lets start with eyebrows. I have tried different locations and different people, but always go back to Neeru and Eksha for the perfect eyebrows with minimal pain. And even if I go back after months with an unruly unibrow (don't judge), they somehow manage to find two arched and clean eyebrows in there. With my wedding around the corner, I have recently had Eksha and Nupur do my hair and makeup for my engagement party and engagement photo shoot. Both times, I went to them with no makeup and no vision, and they came up with amazing looks. I have never gotten so many compliments! I definitely already have them booked for my future wedding events and can't wait to see the ideas they come up with! Need your eyebrows threaded? Need a great haircut? Go HERE! I'm actually reviewing this place based on 3 visits. The first two visit were threading services. I had Neeru first who was awesome! She was able to shape my eyebrows perfectly! Next visit was with someone else who I didn't catch her name but she was decent. Maybe it was because we were both in a rush. She was on her way out and I still had errands to do.. I just plopped in her chair and said clean and shape please. And the third visit... Scheduled an appointment for my daughter who desperately needed a haircut with Dalaina who was wonderful. She was so easy to speak to and very flexible in her schedule. When we arrived She spoke to my daughter as to what she wanted her haircut since she was unsure.. Bangs or no bangs. She was full of great information and advice! I'm so glad she did because I know I wouldn't have heard the end of it if my kid didn't like it. I came here for the first time for eyebrow threading only. There was another place I went to before on Colima that I was happy with, but it was closed for the day. The price was very affordable! I paid $6 cash + tip. I was able to use the student discount which was nice. However, my eyebrows turned out thinner and more arched than I'd like. I probably should've made it more clear that I just wanted a clean up and that I did not want them thinner. To be fair, she may have asked my preference when she started but I couldn't fully understand her accent. I think I'm a just a little surprised - the last several threading places I've been to emphasized keeping brows natural/full and almost refused to make them too thin. My brows also look a little .. choppy? I definitely have to fill them in and wait for them to grow back. read more

Just had a full day of traveling and was exhausted however, Neeru made sure I felt relaxed and put some relaxing eye pads while I sat and waited for my hair dye to set in. One of my go to places 1-2 times a month for threading. Neeru is super sweet lady and she knows what she's doing. She seriously takes her time and does her best for her clients not to feel too much pain. Yes, I know some people say that the thread breaks really fast but that's because she's trying to get a thick piece of hair out and it can break thread often. I've been getting threading done for 10 years and Neeru is my favorite because she takes her time no matter how many people are waiting. This was my second time getting a Brazilian Blowout here and I will definitely be coming back!! Neeru is very detailed and experienced, making the whole process super efficient and easy! After going to other places, it is obvious that the quality of the blowout is best here. At other salons I found that the treatment was lasting 1-2 months, but with Neeru it lasted over 3! I waited and finally, she was available for me. First experience at this business started off rough. I first went to the original location given by yelp but found out it was the old location and had to re-route myself. Let's jump straight to the services. If you're looking for an affordable, good waxing job this place is for you. If you're looking for a hygienic place, this isn't for you. It's hard to write this review when Neeru was so pleasant and accommodating, but I'm no noob when it comes to knowing what's expected. For any bikini wax, rule of thumb...NO DOUBLE DIPPING. She used the same popsicle stick that has been applied to my area and re-dipped it into the "communal wax". GROSS. The job overall was quick and comfortable. Thank you :) I understand honey wax is cheaper and gets the job done quicker, but I'd prefer to stick with my hard wax. The eyebrow wax/threading job, however, was perfect! No complaints there. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID WAXING AT THIS PLACE!! INFECTION WILL SCAR YOU FOR LIFE!! THIS PLACE HAS NOOOO HYGENE! 4 month after getting a bikini wax at this place, my area is still undergoing terrible, never-seen-before-massive ingrowns and painful infections. It wasn't my first time getting a bikini wax but I definitely don't wax as frequent as some other people. Long story short, I came here because my normal go-to place wasn't picking up the phone call. Basically she 1. Double dipped all the way; 2. No pre-trimming at all; 3. Made a bloody mess on my bikini area that I never experienced before, and claim that there was "no bleeding at all"; 4. Did not clean up any left over hair afterward. She charged the same as my usual go-to place PLUS a $10 tip. ALSO, she makes it really awkward if you jerk a bit or make any sound as she removes the waxing stripes because "it scares her". (GROSS FACTOR ALERT) I got home and did my usual after-wax clean & care routine. On the next day I noticed massive, painful red swellings around the area, so I thought to myself, oh maybe my skin is being really sensitive this time, and continued with life. The next couple of days the swellings developed into giant pustules and, let's say, are extremely painful and gross. I thought I contracted herpes, freaked out and checked with doc but turned out it wasn't herpes (thanks god). Another few days passed, I noticed terrible ingrowns appearing on my bikini area AS WELL. The hell continued for 4 months until this day, and my skin has since badly scarred from all the infections and ingrowns so much that there's no point of getting another waxing ever again. The area is so ugly disgusting with all the scars, dents and pigmentation why even bother make it hairless. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place to anyone and I WILL NOT RETURN ever in my life. Avoid this place like plague, or smallpox, or the Ebola, or whatever that kills you. read more

I recently moved to the area and was skeptical about finding a new salon that does Brazilian wax. When I called, Neeru was extremely helpful and even made an appointment after business hours since that was the earliest I could get there from work. The salon is very clean and inviting. Neeru is sweet and professional. She also is quick to give a lot of beauty tips. They charge $35+tip for a Brazilian wax which is a little more than my regular salon, but worth it. I honestly think I'm going to make Beauty Bazaar my regular salon from now on because they do such a good job. I plan on getting a facial and hair cut here in the future. The rest of the staff seems just as helpful. Edit: I went in for a facial last week and it was great. Very clean, professional, relaxing, and effective. Eksha gave a lot of great tips to maintain between facials also. I'll definitely be going back. read more

After coming to terms with the fact that it is not always convenient to visit Nazyla (the sweetest cosmetologist in Westwood) on a monthly basis, it was time to search for a nearby salon for my Brazilian waxing needs. I did a bit of Yelp research, and Beauty Bazaar showed up with the best reviews, and most affordable prices ($45 first time, $35 for return customers) around Diamond Bar, although it is still expensive compared to Nazyla's super quick and clean $25 Brazilian waxes. I made an appointment with Neeru and she was able to accommodate me to her schedule, which was after business hours (props!) and I came late.. luckily she was also running behind, and working on her last customer. Neeru is a sweet person, but less talkative. I am sure she's a wonderful hair stylist and a great threader, but she is pretty clumsy with the wax. She would sometimes accidentally let go of the cloth she was pulling off, so it was more painful when she took a few tries taking off the same patch. At one point, wax also somehow ended up on one of my nails, which got on my clothes and car after my visit. The process took at least twice as long as I am used to at Nazyla's, but it came out clean, though sticky. I was unaware of the first-time price, so I only brought in enough cash for the $35 + tip. Luckily this place takes card, but it would have been nice to know that there was a price difference for new clients and regulars. I will probably come back to Neeru again if I'm in a long dry spell from visiting West LA and Nazyla. Though her procedures are much more painful, she's good about fitting people into her schedules and her salon is close to home. read more

I don't thrive to write a bad review for anyone. But thoughts have crossed my mind few times and I believe its best to share in hopes others may receive improved experience. I went in last Saturday, first timer there. The threading lady was behind her schedule, there was three girls waiting in front of me when the lady rushed in and put her purse down and immediately getting to work. I can't be mad for her tardiness. But I was bothered when i caught her phone ringing and she would answer in middle of threading session. Getting to the point, it was finally my turn to be in her chair. I've gone threading in different places but she was rough and i was scared for my life that she would cut me. And, yes - she cut me. Her thread kept breaking and her sharp nails were carving into my skin. A thread broke and I felt a snap, and from a sharp pain, i yelped. She said sorry immediately and went on to finish, and I was late to my lunch meeting so I rushed out and checked my scar from rear mirror while driving away. I understand accident could happen, but I believe she should of been honest and at least try to motion for better customer service. Really regretting the tips I gave her. read more

I've been coming here for Brazilian waxes since I moved to the area. Neeru is super friendly and welcoming. I like the laid back atmosphere and the price is good for the quality of service. My previous waxing place used hard wax, so it took a little time getting use to to the hot wax and strips. But the process is much quicker! Neeru is easy going and our conversations flow throughout our session. I like how she never pushes additional services on me. She is professional, friendly and always tries to work with your schedule to fit you in. $35 for a wax. Most places start at $35 and up. Well, look no further...this is the place to go. I've been here twice and these were the only times I've ever been to a beauty salon. Neeru was great. I was surprised she remembered what type of work I did because 5 months had passed since the last time I was here. The wax job was quick (~15 min) and significantly less painful than do-it-yourself wax products. I experienced no skin irritation afterwards. The price was very reasonable at $35 + $5 tip. The place is clean, staff friendly, service great, and prices very reasonable. Do it fellas. I really really wanted to like this place because it is so close to my house and has so many amazing reviews, but I left feeling very dissatisfied and not worth the money I paid. I came in here to cut my hair and get an ombre dye job, and I left with a nice looking haircut, but definitely not an ombre dye job. I wanted to get a dark blond to brown ombre, but I ended up with blond hi lights on the top layers of my hair and only the middle layer has the tips of my hair remotely blond and my bottom layer of hair has just my natural color. I even brought in multiple pictures of what I wanted but it still did not come out right. I felt very rushed to get out of there too because there were people waiting but only one woman working. I don't think I will come back here for anymore dye jobs, but maybe for the treading one day. read more

Absolutely the best place to get waxed. I like to get my back and half arms waxed once a month (when possible) and going to Niroo is easily the best person to get waxed by. Before I used to just go to these random asian nail salons with my coupons and I would leave full of bumps and it would be unbearably painful ... not only that but it feels like it takes hours just to wax my back. She has a much better method when waxing, she does it nice and fast and pulls the hair in the direction its going in, not only does this minimize the pain, but it also minimizes any bumps and red marks i would normally get when I go somewhere else. Furthermore, the prices are always better than the leading competitor and she always leaves comforting oil on your waxed spot when she's done. It is hands down the best place to get waxed, (especially for Men). It really is professionally done, and that's all one can ask for. This review is for Dalaina and the color she did on my hair. I called the number on yelp and asked for an appointment the next morning but wasn't sure what I wanted. I met with Dalaina the next day and we spend a good 20 minutes just talking about what colors I should stay away from and what colors I should do. I came in with naturally ash brown hair with a blonde ombré and a touch of pink on the tips. We did many processes to remove the pink, to get rid of the ombré, and to do highlights and lowlights. I spent a good 3 hours in there but it was worth it. Dalaina's prices were relatively cheap for the amount of work she did and she offers student discounts.
