My favorite salon ever! I refuse to go anywhere else, this is THE place to get your hair done. I've gone through a lot of hair phases and the team here has gotten me through each one of them! I've had many hair cuts here, from just trims to giants chops. I've had my hair permanently straightened here and the process was so easy to sit through. I've gone through a few trends and have been happy every time. The pricing is quite reasonable for women's haircuts with shampoo+conditioning as well. I have to shout out Anna and Lily, they are the BEST! My sister goes to Lily for her bright pink hair color (which she's a MASTER AT) and has been for the past few years. Anna always gets my haircuts perfect- a quick explanation and a couple reference photos are really all she needs. She walks me through the steps and asks me questions about what I like or don't like, which make a lot of the haircut anxiety go away. I've had horrible experiences at other salons but have only felt joy and excitement every time I walk out of this salon. I took the biggest risk with my last haircut trying to get bangs, as I've only had bad experiences at other salons and would end up with thick, uneven bangs. Anna listened to all my concerns and literally gave me my FAVORITE HAIRCUT EVER! The bangs were perfect, just as thin as I wanted them and tapered exactly the way I explained. I got my hair trimmed ($40) by Kin (i think that was her name) and she did great! she was very kind and she made sure to keep asking me if how much she was cutting was okay and if i liked it. I recently came back from getting a haircut at this business. As I was getting my hair blow dried I noticed a burning sensation as if the blow dryer was burning my skin. I didn't react nor tell Kim to stop because (at the time) didn't think much of it. Later, I went home took a shower and my uncle & brother said I have a bald spot. Knowing I didn't have this before. My last haircut was in May 2021. I know for a fact I didn't have this. In the past 30-40 minutes I returned to the business, explained my situation and stating Kim burned me with the blow dryer. She was also wearing ear buds in one ear as well. Possibly distracted. I gave $26, $20 normal charge, $6 tip. Thinking it was fine. Their defense was "we thought you knew you had this. That's why we didn't say anything." Another reason why that's wrong is one thing Kim did not do. She didn't show me the back side with a mirror which is normal for all barbers to do. They always show you the back. Not a single barber shop hasn't asked at least "do you want to see the back." Why didn't Kim have me check the back? Who knows. Minutes later the rest of the female staff approached me & declared "no, this is normal. I had a client like that before." "Go see a doctor, something is wrong." "See a doctor and they'll tell you the answer." For a small business not to refund a simple $26 is absurd. If a business can't afford to refund a customer who literally didn't know that this happened & for me to find out for myself is pretty disappointing. Dishonesty was present, I should've reacted and started recording on my phone right when I felt the burn. I trusted them too much. They didn't take my complaint seriously & anybody that gets their haircut they will not take you seriously. They will say "it was there before," to deflect their responsibility. read more

I get compliments about how smooth and healthy my hair looks, and it's really thanks to the treatments I get every couple of months. I've been coming here for years and have tried most of their other services, which are great, too. I came here for my first time ever manicure and it was an ultimate fail. I normally do my own nails but I decided to get my hair cut and nails done here, just for fun. My hair cut/hair stylist deserves at least 4 stars; I always get my haircut from her (sorry I don't know her name). BUT MY NAILS!!! They were sad... There's an extremely skinny woman that works here and she did my nails. She asked what color nail polish and I said clear, but she kept pushing me to get the girly colors, I said no. She then started filing my nails aggressively and kept trying to pull them off. I was so dumbfounded I was speechless, so I stared at my mom and said that those were my REAL nails. The woman didn't believe me or my mom and continued to tug and pull at my nails. After more confirmation that I possess REAL nails, she continued filing the tips of my fingernails aggressively. The end result wasn't even nice, they weren't straight and the nail polish was heavily applied, so little bubbles were visible. This was my first and last manicure. 4 stars for haircut, 0 stars for manicure...grrr you skinny woman... read more

I been here couple of times to get a hair cut and to get my hair dyed. Their prices are pretty reasonable which is one reason why I went here a lot. But my last experience was not too good. I went to get my hair dyed for the first time. I told the lady I wanted highlights only and did not want to dye my whole hair. I told her the shade I wanted and she was pretty helpful with the whole process. After she was done with coloring I noticed that the color did not catch on too well. i could barely see the red against my jet black hair. So I told her my concern and she told me to wait a day and that it will show when my hair dries out. So I checked the next day and realized I couldn't see the color. So I went back and told her to redo it and fix it. She was pretty annoyed I could tell. So she just rushed the whole process and didn't even talk to me which doing it. She was being quiet rude and hurting me by pulling my hair too much. I was so upset. After I washed my hair and looked at my color, I noticed that it was way lighter than what I asked for. So I told her how it doesn't look red and looks more like bronze. Then she tells me how she went 2 shades lighter because I came back and complained. I was so irritated at this point. I just walked out without tipping her and I never went back again. Some people do not know how to be professional. She should have told me she was going couple of shades lighter to accommodate me but she didn't. I had to go home and my cousin had to help me re-dye it. I will never go back here. I have had enough and for being a loyal customer I think i deserve better. read more

The place is a bit tacky with decorations, but the service is great. Kin has been cutting my hair for years now and it's always been a good experience. Some might say that she can be a bit rough with the shampooing, but I think it feels like a nice head massage. I've been doing my hair as a side-part for the past few years and I have always been happy with my cut. I'm really particular with my hair so I tell her exactly how I want it before we begin. If I remember correctly, I brought a picture of Ryan Gosling's hair to Kin the first time I switched hair styles and asked her if she could do something like that for me. Kind of embarrassing to admit that on Yelp, but hey, do you want a good haircut or do you want to look like Shrek? Bring a photo. Kin is very sociable and loves to talk, so it's never an awkward experience. She likes to ask questions about your life if you're a regular, so don't be afraid to share. Tips: Be particular so there's less guesswork on her end and bring a photo if there's a particular look you're going for. I guess that applies to all stylist, but it helped me get what I wanted for sure over here! read more
