This was the FIRST but may be the BEST head spa I've ever been to, from the gentle and polite service from the chinese ladies when putting our scalp under the camera to the whole head wash and head/shoulder massage. The place is small but is very clean and quiet and they make you dress in a robe to prepare for the spa. I tried them via groupon and unfortunately they don't have a discount anymore but I would pay $100 for another session. I paid almost the same price for a session at ANOTHER spa and let me tell you that lis head spa is UNMATCHED in their service and massage. My cousin tried many other spas and said that lis head spa was still the best so I've become a loyal customer! You guys... this place changed my life. These women do not play when it comes to hair washing. I came in with hella oily hair and left feeling like a new, lighter person. They started by scanning my scalp and showing me everything--clogged pores, product buildup, the works. It was crazy seeing it all so up close, and they explained everything in a way that made total sense. The actual wash? Unreal. She was so thorough, took her time, and kept a perfect amount of pressure the entire hour. Yes, a full hour. That hair shower thing they use?? It gave me literal tingles. If you're into ASMR, this is the spot for you. They got into every little crevice of my scalp--like, deep cleaned it--and after the massage, I swear I could think clearer. Came here for with a friend to try this head spa experience. Lis Head Spa is in a place in Diamond Bar next to the Sunright Tea Studio. I've never done it before (my friend has gone to another place to try it) and I was curious. The facility is clean and modern. They have a machine that checks your scalp before and after your treatment. I don't really know the purpose of it though. I intentionally didn't wash my hair before my appointment as I knew I was going to get a good scrubbing, so when my hair looked dirty in the photos, I expected it. And when my hair washer lady showed me the after pictures and said "wow, it's so clean!", I thought, "it should be since you washed and scrubbed my head for almost an hour". That being said, my experience was delightful. The person who washed my hair did a great job, it was really relaxing, she also gave me a face/shoulder/neck/upper back massage. My hair was so soft and felt so clean afterwards. They use Dyson hair dryers if you care about that kind of thing. They do not style or curl your hair afterwards though. They offer treatment packages, but they were not pushy about trying to get us to buy anything. I bought my treatment on Groupon and the price was not bad. To be honest, I think the Groupon deal is better so I'd go that route for future visits. Tip: don't go to your appointment wearing makeup, they will be rubbing part of your face as part of the treatment. They do have a makeup station with a few MAC foundations, as well as eye shadows and lipsticks that you can use if you want - I was the first one to use the eyeshadow palettes as they were brand new. Just what I needed! I dyed my hair myself several times and used product after product. I felt like I needed a good scalp scrub and wash. I found this head spa last minute and was able to get an appointment. This is located in the same strip mall of BBQ Stop. Parking was easy on a holiday. I was welcomed and led to get some Micro images of my scalps condition. Yikes! What is going on with my scalp? Dryness, flakes of dandruff, some Clogged follicles. We better get to it!! Escaped into one of the private massage head spa spaces separated by thick drapes. I chose the head spa and body massage which is a 2 hour treatment. I was surprised how strong Lisa is with the massage. I was so relaxed after she had hit the tight spots in my back and shoulders. It was a great massage! The head spa started after the massage. It was a moisturizing hair wash with a head massage. So relaxing that after a few minutes I was numb in the scalp lol. That or I was asleep. To complete the scalp treatment you go back to the chair and have serum heated into your scalp and oil, all brushed through then the LED red light comb is used. The blow dryer comes out and you're done! They take a look at your scalp again with the camera and all that buildup and dryness is all gone. Now it's all about maintenance! It was a great experience. Noise during treatment was minimal. You may hear other clients getting their scalp treatment but it's not too disturbing. Place is kept very clean! My girlfriend and I went to Lis Head Spa and hadn't experienced a head spa before. It was a great experience. It includes shoulder massage and facial (I chose the signature option #2, 90 minutes). It didn't disappoint! Everything about the msaage was great. I also left there with a very clean scalp. It's hard to explain, but you can feel how clean your scalp is into the next couple of days! They also brow dry your hair before you leave. I will be coming back as often as I can! I felt that the price was appropriate for the service! P.S. I wanted to try the viral head spa and found Lis on Groupon. I read the reviews beforehand and they were pretty good! My appt time was right when the opened. I arrived 5 minutes early and they wanted to get started right away. The place is clean. They have privacy curtains. If you're looking for a spa, this isn't it. They do have the lights dimmed. They have slippers and robes. They really are more about getting the service done and moving you out. The service itself was great. Lucy was very nice. She gave plenty of neck massages and at the end she had me sit up and have me a quick back rub. She used plenty of hair products. My hair smelled great after. She used the water hose99% of the time. She used the circular water/ steam thing at the end. She did a great job. They have a makeup station. There's a sign that says it's complementary. I wasn't offered it. It was my first head spa and I liked it. I had my hair analysis and she didn't really find anything except some clogged hair pores. I purchased a 60 min Head & Scalp massage thru Groupon on 1/28/25. I made an appt and drove 45 min to the location. They told me they do not accept Groupon. Their explanation is that they've been pestering Groupon that they no longer want to service their customers. Hmmm.... well, shouldn't Lis Spa still honor it? It's not my fault that I was able to make an appt (they didn't ask if I was using Groupon) and take half day to drive up to Walnut. This is shady business and they don't provide the service provided. The Groupon costs $67.50; their walk-in price is $98 (she said it also includes tip).. So what's the difference? I can use my Groupon and still tip you. This was the first time my boyfriend and I had been to a spa, let alone a head spa, so we didn't know what to expect. The place was quiet and clean when we entered. They were running a bit late since the previous appointment came in later, but we appreciated that they gave us water and checked in on us as we were waiting. Once we got started, they seated us in salon chairs and used the machine to show us our scalp condition. It was pretty cool! Then we went to the beds where they started the massage treatment. The beds and chairs are in one big room, but the beds had thick curtains so I felt like it was private enough. Although, other people can probably hear your scalp reading. I was wearing spaghetti straps so I didn't have to change into a robe, but my boyfriend did since he was wearing a long sleeve which would restrict the massage. The massage overall was so relaxing, and they really made the most of the 60 minute session. I think the water was a little too hot at times, so it took me out of that tranquil state, but I got back into it pretty easily haha. My boyfriend and I noticed that there were some minor differences between our massages, so it seems like the treatment can vary based on who you get. Or maybe it's different between genders? We both had a good experience though. He thought this was a fun gift, and I'm glad they were so kind and thoughtful throughout the experience. I found a Groupon for 2 for $145.00. There was plenty of parking, the staff upon arrival were very friendly. My hair upon arrival looked oil clogged and dry at the same time on the computer analysis. They have you change into a towel robe and then it starts. They massage your upper forehead, your neck, and shoulders.. so relaxing. They double wash/scrub/massage your head. They blow dry and put argan oil on your hair. They do not try to sell you anything as well. My daughter and I had the most relaxing time. I would give my daughter's rating but she fell asleep during the process. I will definitely be coming back. Oh and our hair looked amazing afterwards. read more

Lis Head Spa offers a discounted rate with memberships for their services, but I believe the Groupon is cheaper for the 1 hr head spa if you want to try it out. Location is new and clean. I was preparing for the "consultation" where the staff runs the camera through the hair to take up like 15-20 minutes out of the 60 allotted but it was maybe 5 minutes so it did not cut into the service time too much, thankfully. Actual service was incredibly relaxing! This was my first dedicated "head spa" treatment and I loved it. Will definitely be back. During my initial consultation, the two staff present were there with one reviewing and the other explaining my scalp condition. After the service, only one person walked me through my post-treatment scalp condition, however she did not speak English. I don't think this affects the head spa service but if you have allergies or other concerns you can clarify when making the reservation. -parking easy in big lot -no walk-ins, must make appointment in advance -I originally made a same day appt and was texted to reschedule. My experience at Los Head Spa was wonderful! The place is small but there are at least 3-4 rooms divided by thick curtains that you feel like it's a private room. I was greeted by Gina who was very nice and offered me water. There were two clients that they were finishing up with and running a bit behind but kept me posted while I waited. When it was my turn, both Gina and Lucy brushed out my hair and Gina showed me what my scalp looked like using a special camera before the treatment. It was what I expected; dandruff and scalp irritation from scratching so much due to dandruff.. Lucy did my treatment, and let me just say, I was ready to fall asleep! I was so sad when my scalp massage and upper body massage ended. When Lucy wasn't massaging my scalp, she was massaging my neck, shoulders, and top part of my back. Gina brushed out my hair again and showed me what my scalp looked like after the treatment and there was such a noticeable difference!
