I got my nails done for my proposal. I wanted a pink nude gel acrylics. I've never gotten my nails done professionally. I didn't know how sensitive my nails would be during and after the appointment. I've watched videos of acrylics though. I had Sunny do my gel acrylics. Sunny was nice and very chatty. Sunny only used the drill to file my cuticles. He didn't use a cuticle pusher at all, just kept changing the sanding band bits. He used the cuticle clippers after and cut me on a few nails, didn't apologize or acknowledge me bleeding. He wiped my bleeding thumb off with a dirty towel. The fumes for the primer and powder was super strong! I had to breathe through my mouth. The door wasn't open and no fans were on. My nose burned when I breathed through it, that's how strong the fumes were! I showed him the picture of color nails I wanted twice. When it came to picking the color, he said he had the perfect color. I tried chiming in that the color pink was too light for me. However, he didn't hear me and started applying the color he chose. It was too late to be angry, disappointed or annoyed about the color. The session was about 80 minutes. My acrylic gel nails cost $45 but I tipped and paid $60. I don't know how clean the place is, the nail grinder was put away like normal and the towel was still on the table afterwards. Nice people, bad job. It looks like they use the drill to make the layer of dip way too thin to hold up. Usually get a dip mani/pedi at my favorite place in Phoenix, but it had been 5 weeks (they were fine, but just SO grown out.) So I hit Yelp to find a salon near me while traveling in CA. Best had good reviews, and was very close to where I was staying, so I called and they got me right in. Dip mani was $43 and pedi was $27 (they had no options for upgrades, and did not include callous removal.) I'm unsure as to how they clean their tools, and I know better... as soon as I got concerned, I should have walked out. It has now been 11 days since, and I've already had to repair two nails on my right hand (I can do it myself, but the salons do a much better job.) A corner chipped off of one nail two days after I got them done, but we were leaving town so I just glued it in place until I got home to fix it. Another already had a small chip along my cuticle, so I fixed it as well. Now the corner of my thumb is cracked, and I'll be repairing that one as soon as I'm done writing this review. Since I'm going to have to get all my stuff out, I'll also be fixing two nails on my other hand that are cracked but stable. (And now that I've just taken photos of all three of them, I can see how crappy the edges against my cuticles are, on all of my nails. None of them are clean.) I like the people that work here but I was a customer along with an ex-cop customer that was acting like a fool. Mouthing off being a bully. That's the last thing you expect when you're getting a mani pedi that some ex-cop is extending their genitalia at you with a god complex. She was completely disgusting. Another customer in the place. Makes me want to never come here because I don't want to ever be in the same room with that customer again. She wreaked stank of abuse of authority that she used to abuse being a cop and she showed her colors in the room trying to mouth off at me. All of them have God complex. It's sad but karma always comes to the rescue. Sorry I can't go to this place again even though everything else went wonderfully I would never want to be in the same room with that customer again. So I recommend the place as long as you don't run into this disgusting customer. read more

I'm so glad I came here!! My gel manicure nails were done by Mimi and she did a phenomenal job. I couldn't decide on a nail color and Mimi was so sweet in helping me pick it out. Today was my first time getting a gel manicure from Best Nails and I can honestly say that they offer great service paired with affordable prices. I've been to other nail salons in Diamond Bar and have spent about $40 for a gel manicure alone. I really appreciated that their pricing for a one-color gel manicure was only $22. Mimi and Sunny were very welcoming and were able to finish my gel manicure within an hour. I came in with a broken nail due to having Japanese gel acrylics before (& tried to take them off myself - I don't recommend that anyone does this) and I really appreciated that Mimi offered a dip nail tip for that broken nail. It was clear that she cared about my nail's safety and wanted to prevent it from further damage. This place is pretty solid. The owners are so nice and funny. I got my acrylic nails done on the 7th and it has been around 2 weeks since I've got them done and they're just great. The price is pretty good too ($33) The only thing I didn't give 5/5 is, theres not much ventilation in the salon so when I stepped in, the smell was so strong my nose hurt. After some time, I got used to it but it felt bad for my lungs as well. Maybe if they had a window or something it would be better. Overall, great place! read more

Okay so I've been coming here for about a year now and this is my favorite nail place in diamond bar. Sunny is the best! His wife Mimi is so sweet too. Sunny is hilarious and he remembers his customers by name, and it impresses me that he remembers our conversations. I usually get gel on my nails which costs me about 20-22$ and my pedicures are about $18. Very inexpensive and he makes sure to do a great job every time. And if you're unhappy he will fix it! I've been going here for almost two years now thanks to my friend re and I love it here! Thank you Sonny, Mimi, and Leilanie for always being so kind and welcoming. The prices here are hard to beat for the great jobs that they do. I like how they are organized by having appointments so you're never waiting forever. I used to go to other nail salons and my nails would break so easily but I have never had that problem here. The longest I've stretched a fill was probably 5-6 weeks and my nails were completely fine. Even if I had a couple broken nails they were able to fix it without trying to convince me into getting a completely new set. One thing I think they can improve on is shaping, sometimes I'd ask for coffin but it would end up looking more square just let them know you want it narrower and they're always happy to help! read more

I have to say that I happen to be in the store when you threw an outraged fit because of the suggestions they did offer you. I have to say for myself being a new customer to this place. I find that they do take care of their customers. They give you suggestions and let you know ahead of time of what they can and can't do. Alot of nail salons of course will never tell you ahead of time that they "cant" do what you want. They just do it! and if it turns out like crap so be it. I honestly think-- Sunny was doing you a favor giving you suggestions and options also letting you know ahead of time that whatever you wanted was not possible. The way you wanted your nail is clearly a disastrous situation -- long but thin.. every girl knows... the longer you go with the thin top. = cause for many breakage. Honestly, these employees did nothing but try to accommodate you to the fullest. From what I see on your yelp page with all the reviews that you have posted you are just always dissatisfied in general. AND of course you would post a picture with your nails non-fully completed.. but why would you even let sunny put those on you?!? if you already knew he wasn't able to do your nails the way you wanted? since he did tell you ahead of time after you showed him the picture.. right? NEVER GO HERE! I repeat NEVER. 0/5 stars. Most Unprofessional place I've ever been to. I wouldn't even go here for free. If you are someone who wants their nails a particular color and shape then this is not the place for you. Sunny who was doing my nails, didn't fulfill my requests, I wanted a specific color because he didn't have it he insisted that the other color was better, I compromised and went ahead. When I told him if he could make my coffin shape less wide he got all egoistic saying I know I'm a professional don't tell me what to do. But obviously I know what I want , what shape or colors because they are MY NAILS. He literally did not care what I wanted. Also when I asked if he would do gel on ombré he LIED and said in ombré gel isn't possible it would chip in 2 days?, all other salons do it and it says for weeks. So honestly looks like he only had one color for ombré and only one way to do it by dip powder and fake nails. This is not it he told me to LEAVE because I was making sure my nails were same length in both hands and I told him to match it. He got offended and said you can leave. What type of customer service business does that ? TELLING SOMEONE TO LEAVE BECAUSE THEY KNOW WHAT THEY WANT AND ASKED FOR IT. Isn't that the meaning of salons where you pay for what YOU like and not the owner. Sunny was extremely RUDE & ILL MANNERED. He left my nails in the middle and told me to leave so now I have half nails done. If you want to get disrespected in front of other customers go ahead.
