They have great variety of products too so if i am looking for something in particular they often have it. If they don't they are willing to order it for you. Also nice, they have a variety of hair for braiding so you can come get some when in a pinch. Best news, I think they took the hint. No one is following you in the store. When having my acrylics trimmed off, they cut too low and I was cut and started bleeding. Not only that but I received another cut from the file on my other hand... I've had the hardest time trying to find a good nail salon in diamond bar the last 3 years I've lived here... I've visited every nail salon in this city besides this one. Stumbled upon this place on yelp while I was across the street, so decided to call in. "D" was the one who did my pedicure. Let me tell you, he was very thorough with the way he made sure he was getting all my skin and how I wanted my shape. Super friendly and easy to talk to. Usually the nail technicians don't talk to you besides the "hi how are you". His massage and the way he scrubbed the callus off was honestly the best and not half assed. V was the one who did my boyfriends pedicure... his exact words were "that was the best pedicure I've ever had". He said her massage was the best and she was very thorough as well with making sure she got all his extra skin. Both of our feet are super soft! I got nervous going into this shop. I was the only customer at the (odd, I admit) time, and all three technicians kind of hovered around me the entire time. It's attached to a hair salon and someone's perm was making the place stink horribly. I can't blame them on that, but I also felt the shop wasn't particularly "clean" in the sense that my seat was facing a trash can, and the towels were very old looking. I thought multiple times that I would never go back to this location, but I've since changed my mind and here's why: 1) Quality. My gel manicure is the smoothest, most consistent gel manicure I've gotten...ever. I can tell this set will last well past 2 weeks because of the strength it has 2) Speed. He was fast! 30 minutes in and out is a DREAM. 3) Price. $24 full gel with 1 finger gel removal. Even with tip that's the cheapest I've paid. I initially called to get an appt done for my friend and I, but she was unable to join me at the time I wanted to go, so I went alone. I had Anna do my nails for me-- I wanted a gel fill. I had pink powder on from my previous set, which worried me that the new color I wanted wouldn't show due to the pink color overshadowing it. Long story short, the session was fairly quick, effortless, and done very well! Anna has the lightest hands ever, I always make an observation with the technician who handles my nails. When she's using her tools to clean up and shape my nails around the edges and close to my cuticles, I didn't feel a single moment where I flinched, it was all so smooth and she didn't burn me with the heat of the tools, which is a HUGE DEAL for me! I pay attention to things like that, and I take notes. I chose a glittery gold for this fill set, and the photos are more than enough to show how beautiful they turned out. I wanted my nails shorter but still with the coffin shape, and she succeeded in shaping them well. I came in today because I had gone to a different nail salon and they didn't pay attention to the details of the design that I wanted at all. The lines came out faded and some were even crooked. I called in and asked DB Beauty if they could fix up the other salon's mistakes. He immediately suggested that I come in and see what they could do for me. Once I got there, Tony took a close look at my nails and knew how he could fix it. He basically erased the poorly drawn designs and repainted my nails with a more fitting color. He even added on some cute gems to make the nails stand out more! I explained to him that I had dropped a lot of money on the poor design, so it was okay to just make a simple fix. He was able to do a job that was above and beyond my expectations at a reasonable price! I highly recommend this salon because of their attention to detail and awesome service. So I actually went here to give it another try since the first time I went it was okay. This time I got a sweet nail tech girl that did a gel mani for me. What I loved most about her was that she was honest. I picked a color "peach cider" that appeared more yellow on the sample but as she opened it she told me it looked more orange and showed me on her nail. She was super patient with me and suggested other colors since I wasn't feeling an orange glitter color. We chose between a purple glitter and Tiffany blue glitter. I wanted to try the purple glitter, after doing one hand she showed it to me and told me that it doesn't look like it does in the bottle. When it was on my nail it was an extremely light purple. I agreed that it looked too plain so we went with the Tiffany blue glitter. She showed it to me with one hand done and i liked it. She put silver fine glitter on my ring finger nail as an accent. She was very sweet and gave me a complimentary small glass of white wine. After driving home, I couldn't stop staring at my nails. The more I looked at it, the more I liked it. To the point where I had to write this review. I am the type of girl to get a color and just deal with it. Even if it didn't look like how I want it to. Most places won't even question it and just proceed. So I always stick with nudes since you can't really go wrong with that. I decided to try something different and I'm so glad that I did. She made me feel really comfortable and I appreciated her patience. All around it was a good experience and I highly recommend getting a gel mani here. Matthew was great! 5 stars for the work Matthew did! I came in for a mani pedi and Matthew had such great attention to detail. He was careful in making my French tips up to his standards, which were much higher than mine! He spent about 2 hours on my visit and he always kept checking that I was taken care of, that the massage machine was good, the water was a good temperature, that the nails were "perfect". He takes pride in his work as a manicurist and it shows! The salon is also a sanitizing place, where they wrap the basin with plastic wrap and all the manicure tools are pre-wrapped in bags, like how the dentist does. I thought this was very unique and something respectful that this business does to keep their customers clean. Only reason not a full 5 was the price. It was $32 for mani pedi combo, which was a good deal to me and the owner was nice enough to offer a 10% discount with an appointment schedule. However, french was $5 additional a set, which I did not know till I was paying. I understand that French is more work and he was justifying that at the register, I just don't like that it was sprung on my at the register. I was told gel was an additional $10, but after saying I wanted french nails, being told "just so you know, that's an additional $5 per set" would have been appreciated. I went in today with my sister for just normal manicures. I am not sure if they were certified nail technicians because as I was watching, they were not shaping my nail in a way that would allow them to grow healthy. The nail should be filed from outside to in and there is no reason to use an electric file when acrylics are not involved. This makes your nail unhealthy and harder for it to grow. This is the lazy version of proper nail care. My sisters nails were messed up repeatedly and were repainted more than three times.They were trying to get the manicure done in the fastest way and neglected quality due to it. I would not recommend coming here, even if it has one dollar sign. Your money is better off spent elsewhere. read more
