When I arrived the first thing she did was asked me to redeem my Groupon and they started talking about giving her 10% tip and higher which put me off right away. I always tip even if I don't like the end result, I didn't need her to explain that to me. After she looked at my lashes she said they were too short and suggested I could get a refund from Groupon even though she redeemed the voucher. The whole process just took 20 minutes and the results were terrible. One side didn't lift at all, and the other side only had a slightly lift that didn't even last an hour. It was clear she didn't put in much effort. Terrible job.

(I, in fact, never neglected my lashes in between fills, and this was the first time anything like this had ever happened to my lashes.) She ordered me to get up and leave. I felt so humiliated that I was near tears. I meekly paid her in full, including her usual tip, and left. When I got to my car, I saw that my eyelashes looked horrible because they were only half done. I always paid her in full and gave her an appropriate, even generous tip each time without the expectation that she should spend any extra time on me, so I've never understood why it was necessary to get so angry at me. I was always understanding and fine with how my lashes looked. I never tried to undercut her asking price and always paid it happily. Maybe she was just in a bad mood that day and took it out on me but I left feeling really shaken. I ended up taking my business to Platinum Lashes in Glendora. Everyone there is genuinely nice and polite! They're also very professional, and their shop has the most adorable retro vibe. Every single one of the lash techs do a terrific job, no matter who you're booked with, the owners are wonderful, I've never had any problems with my lashes there, and I've never been berated or felt like I was going to get yelled at, so I can wholeheartedly recommend them instead!
