She was pressuring me to get the individuals because number one they're more expensive and number two she will use the good glue on it. I told her that I only wanted the strips only because The individuals are very uncomfortable to me. She then proceeded to get the strip eyelashes and she tried to put bonding hair bonding glue on my lash anyone who used to get their Lashes done knows that you can feel the coolness of the glue on your lid but she use absolutely no glue and also used hair bonding glue and I caught her in a lie and her and the manager tried to cover it up with more lies the Manager said that they didn't use strips but she gave me strips to choose from so they both were lying. She's incredibly talented, patient, and detail-oriented -- every single nail came out flawless. She listened to exactly what I wanted and made sure everything was perfect. I also added on a massage, and WOW. Kim has amazingly strong hands and gave one of the best massages I've ever had. She knew exactly where to apply pressure and made the whole experience feel so relaxing and soothing. It was worth every penny. Not only is her work beautiful, but she's so sweet and gentle that you instantly feel comfortable. I left feeling pampered, refreshed, and obsessed with how good my nails look. She looked at my nails, immediately started typing on her phone, and then came back and told me that my refill would be $110 and my pedicure would be $50. While I thought the prices seemed unusually high, I agreed to the services. What surprised me even more was being told that I had to pay the full $167 upfront before any services were performed. In all my years of getting my nails done, I have never been required to prepay for a refill and pedicure. I also did not notice any other customers being asked to pay upfront, which made me feel singled out. What made the pricing even more confusing is that I regularly get nail designs, artwork, and other add-on services, and I have never paid anywhere near $167 for a refill and pedicure--even with those extras included. This visit was simply a refill and pedicure, yet it ended up being the most I have ever been charged. To be clear, the nail technician who worked on me was very kind, professional, and did a good job. I have no complaints about her whatsoever. In fact, I felt bad that I wasn't able to leave the tip I normally would have. I am a generous tipper and always make a point to show appreciation for good service, but after paying such an unexpectedly high amount upfront, I simply didn't feel comfortable spending even more. My issue is with the way I was treated as a customer. The unusually high pricing, combined with the requirement to pay upfront when others seemingly were not asked to do the same, left me feeling embarrassed, humiliated, and as though I was being treated differently.
