You wil be cancelled at the last minute! I never used her before and made A BIG MISTAKE booking thru booksy had to give a $24 deposit. Which at some point hopefully will get refunded. I needed the nails for an event for work tomorrow. And she had texted me 4 times asking different questions. I know it's standard to want to know why a potential client is coming in but you ask everything at once but it was many texts during the day and I even sent her pics not requested by her(very plain full set acrylics) but I had a feeling she was not wanting to do it because of all the inquiries. She should have cancelled earlier in the day. But she decided to wait until the last minute when I rearranged my work schedule and now it's too late to find anyone else! I'm really tired of no courtesy from businesses!! And money spent!!

My first time trying this place and I will definitely be back!…read more I often leave nail salons feeling aggravated for rushed service and lack of attention to detail. Really wanted a relaxing pedicure today so I thought I'd give this place a try. Called and asked if they could accommodate an appointment in about 15min. They said yes come on in. The salon is super clean! I did not feel rushed or like I was on a nail conveyor belt like many other places in the area. The pedicure massage chairs were in great condition and very relaxing. I got the Essential Pedicure $42 (a step up from the basic) Janine was great, she did a custom color to add a little sparkle to the color I picked and gave a nice massage. She finished up doing the classic manicure $25. I bumped one nail against the dryer and she had no problem fixing it for me. Love the atmosphere, the employees were all welcoming and best mail services I've had in a long time!

When I arrived, I was informed that John doesn't work on men and that none of the male technicians do either. Consequently, if I wanted my nails done, I would have to go to a female technician. I found this discriminatory behavior by the male nail technicians unacceptable. It shouldn't matter whether a client is male or female. Refusing a client based on gender is discrimination. While the female technician did a good job, it was challenging to communicate with her. I had requested a darkish blue nail polish, but she initially brought out a purple color. I believe this could have been my fault, as I may have pointed to the wrong shade. However, these issues, coupled with the discriminatory behavior, have made me hesitant to return to this salon.

Also, it seems to keep my nails as healthy as possible. I personally get a Gel pedicure. And change up which pedicure spa to get. I love all the different scents, hot towels, and massages. Very relaxing atmosphere, too. Call ahead appointments are scheduled and kept on time, very important for all, including them. Plenty of parking.

When I walked in, I told the receptionist that I needed a Gel-X refill and a pedicure. She looked at my nails, immediately started typing on her phone, and then came back and told me that my refill would be $110 and my pedicure would be $50. While I thought the prices seemed unusually high, I agreed to the services. What surprised me even more was being told that I had to pay the full $167 upfront before any services were performed. In all my years of getting my nails done, I have never been required to prepay for a refill and pedicure. I also did not notice any other customers being asked to pay upfront, which made me feel singled out. What made the pricing even more confusing is that I regularly get nail designs, artwork, and other add-on services, and I have never paid anywhere near $167 for a refill and pedicure--even with those extras included. This visit was simply a refill and pedicure, yet it ended up being the most I have ever been charged. To be clear, the nail technician who worked on me was very kind, professional, and did a good job. I have no complaints about her whatsoever. In fact, I felt bad that I wasn't able to leave the tip I normally would have. I am a generous tipper and always make a point to show appreciation for good service, but after paying such an unexpectedly high amount upfront, I simply didn't feel comfortable spending even more. My issue is with the way I was treated as a customer. The unusually high pricing, combined with the requirement to pay upfront when others seemingly were not asked to do the same, left me feeling embarrassed, humiliated, and as though I was being treated differently. Whether that was the intention or not, that was my experience. Because of how uncomfortable I felt, I will not be returning. The wors!!
