I decided to give this salon a chance after reading so many good reviews on it. When I arrived to the appointment I was greeted by my stylist Alexa immediately which I appreciated. I told her that I wanted a balayage but I didn't want it to get blonde or brassy. This was my first time getting a balayage so I gave all my trust to the stylist. While she was working on me I mentioned how I saw on the salon's Instagram how she was able to get hair from a black box dye to a nice balayage. That's why I requested her since my hair was also dyed black. She began to complain about that specific client in front of me, which shocked me cause I found it unprofessional to do that in front of a new client. When I was about to get my hair tone, she mixed the toner but she didn't apply it hair. I didn't pay for a blow dry but she blow dried the sides of my hair so I can see the results. From the sides I thought it looked good, but I never got to see the back of my hair. After I left the salon and my hair was completely dry I had a friend take a picture of the back of my hair and then I noticed how my hair actually looked. I was completely shocked. I live far away so I couldn't go back to the salon. I was so disappointed since I had seen some of her previous work and have liked the outcome of them. I went in yesterday in hopes of finding a nail salon close to home. I recently moved to the area and have tried a couple of place and haven't found a place worth going back. I called prior to coming in . So I parked and went inside. Immediately sat down with the tech (Katy)and she was nice at first but after showing her a picture and verbally telling her what I wanted and her assuring me she could do it, it wasn't going as I envisioned so I expressed this to her.... she proceeded to exude attitude and annoyance towards me. As she is removing the nail polish she says out loud to herself "I just feel like some girls overthink about nail color and it's not that deep" and I'm sorry but I've never been so infuriated in my life at a nail salon. I am not one for this long drawn out reviews but I feel it's warranted. Like I showed her a picture... I told her verbally and still she proceeded to make my cuticle bleed give me three Crooked nails. I came to this place for a service so YES it is that DEEP! It's my hand.... I work in the service industry it took a lot for me not to tip appropriately but I felt it would only validate her horrible service. NEVER GOING BACK! Lesson learned. I have traditionally always had my haircut by a man I always feel their technique is my modern and they are more precise. I make an appointment and upon arrival I'm greeted by the women and now she asks if I speak Spanish. Why? The women cutting my hair doesn't speak English that good. So the lady says she will translate. I show them a picture of myself and how I would like my hair. Not a picture of someone else but of me. I attempted twice to tell her to cut the line at my part bigger and each time it looked no different than when she started. The search for a hairdresser in Pompano beach continues. As a side note this women spent a grand total of 12 minutes cutting my hair. The portion she cut with clippers was never checked for stray hair at any point. A five year old with a pair of clippers could have duplicated this hair cut. Only time in my entire life I have not left a tip. It kind of pained me until I looked back in the mirror at the haircut I just spent money on. read more

I had such a horrible experience here. The first time I went was great and I thought this was my new salon forever. The second time, my hair was absolutely ruined. I left crying. She made me an appointment for the next day to fix it, but after thinking about it all night, I couldn't go back. I just couldn't trust that my Hair would turn out ok. I saw some people that left with beautiful hair. I have a pixie cut- the color turned out horribly and the cut looked like a bowl cut. There were little bald spots all around the back of my head where she got the scissors too close. I had a patch of gray everywhere. It looked like someone had drawn perfect circles and colored them in with a silver marker. The only reason I color my hair is too cover the gray. After this debacle, "the stylist actually said to me, "so you don't want any gray hair?" I could NOT believe it. Luckily I found someone to repair it the next day, because I couldn't gi out anywhere like that. read more

I scheduled an an appointed at this salon for a single process haircoloring. I have been dying my hair for 15 years and have never had an issue. The stylist, of time, Alexa, applied the dye to my hair. It burned immediately and she put SPLENDA into my dye. She subsequently disappeared inton the back room. When she emerged after several minutes had gone by, I reported that I was experiencing pain and itching in my scalp. She told me this was normal and after wiping away some dye from the perimeter of my scalp, and applying aloe to my head, she disappeared again. After another prolonged period of time, another women noticed that I was uncomfortable and offered me a drink. After a few minutes the intial stylist emerged and said it nwas time to wash my hair out. I now have a 2.5 inch diameter, very painful, chemical burn and bald spot on the front of my scalp. I looked at all the reviews and was so excited that a nice nail salon was so close to my home. I had a nice experience, my nail tech was so sweet and so accommodating. When it came to my nails I picked out a color and they didn't have it which was fine I went with something else. I decided to to some Halloween art, one nail came out great the other one not so much. When I left I realized the length of my nails were completely uneven. It hasn't even been 2 weeks, the color is chipping on my toes horribly and I have 2 nails that are broken. I normally go to May's Nails and I have been getting NexGen for at least a year now and have NEVER had any nails break, especially two. The experience is nice but I will never go back. I'm very disappointed. This is my first time ever writing a review as I never complain or do this but I am pretty annoyed. read more

Definitely will never be returning back. I normally don't do yelp reviews, but this place truly is not worth going to. The nail tech I had must of just started 2 days before I got my nails done, she said she had been doing nails for 10 years but was so unorganized and all over the place. I asked to have a line down the middle of my nails and she couldn't even properly do that and needed to ask another nail tech to do it for her. I had a broken nail so she , for which she told me she wouldn't charge (I found out 3 weeks later I had fungus on my nail because she didn't properly apply the acrylic). The whole process of getting a gel mani & pedi took 3 HOURS. To top it all off my total was $64... truly can't express what a horrible experience I had, definitely don't recommend this place at all. read more

I went to this salon , recommended to me by someone else- What a BIG mistake and disappointed it was. Had my hair cut by Alexa, I specially asked her NOT to cut my hair short, repeated myself three times. She never listened to my request, not only cutting my hair too short, it was cut unevenly as well, one side shorter than the other. She even took an attitude when she saw I was not happy. Should have realized not to have my hair cut there, as there were NO Customers even when I came in. That tells you something right there. Anyway, I would not recommend anyone going to this salon. What a horrible experience. Unfortunately some hairstylist do not how to cut hair. I know that is a big complaint in Florida speaking to others as well about this problem. read more

"O" STARS! F THIS PLACE! This place is terrible and everyone there is so damn miserable and taked no pride in their work on customer service. I got a gel manicure and less than 24 hrs nails were chipped and peeled off. Went back for a refund and they would not honor it. To the point that they didn't believe I was there as a clent. They only wanted to fix one nail which clearly that wasn't going to resolve things. They had an attitude about it like In did something wrong. I want to cuss and say so many more nasty things in regards to this situation but trust me, i will not being going there ever again and will tell everyonei know how shitty' of a place this is. So I went with katy I really needed my feet done ... She stopped about 15 times while doing my toes to talk to someone across the salon .. Ok so I went in during a kids Birthday party and it was no problem. Katy who didn't do my nails good. Katy who did my pedicure on the other hand cut the the side of my toe with the little thing they use to scrub your feet. I told her it hurt and she would still go we couldn't see anything but it stung. Then she put it back in the water and it was like white spot. Then once I got home and looked at it you can see from the picture the area is swollen and red! She did say sorry but I don't feel that should have happened as this place is more expensive then your average pedicure place its 26.00! Been here a few times and it was fine. Went to get a bayalage with Alexa and all I got was a full head of blonde except my roots- no blending whatsoever. Alexa fried my Hair but I had to get it fixed which took them three more tries. Went to other salons for advice and have been putting Hair masks on multiple times a week and there is no going back from the damage Alexa did to it. Other professionals said the only way I can fix this problems is by cutting all my hair off. Not worth the risk. Update: 6 months later and this is what my Hair looks like. Very rude and not helpful. I wouldn't let them touch me with that attitude. We came in and asked for a pedicure but they said they didn't have time though there was nobody waiting... Oh my Spanish speaking friend just let me know it's because we spoke English to her. I guess the owner can afford to be racist? I'm not sure why this place is rated so high- I have multiple gripes about my manicure experience. First, Katy had to check the color bottle I wanted and that should have been an indicator that the polish may be old. Anyway, she went off and started filing my nails and cutting my cuticles. She went way overboard with the cuticle cutting and made my finger bleed, yet she just oproceeded. I told her to stop and move on,and she still went on. She didn't put anything on it to prevent infection or anhything. I had to ask another women at tnhe end to give me some peroxide or anything of the like. I do not recommend this Katy. read more

She then put a rude lady on the phone and kept insisting that I wanted fills and I kept telling her I didn't 11and that the previous women was telling her wrong. I was visiting Pompano Beach and looked up this salon. The reviews were good so I booked a mani, pedi and cut . I had my mani first with Kati. Time is running and when she finished my nails and toes I couldn't tell that they were finished. Cuticles not cut and buffing took an hour. Then I went for a trim and the sign said Haircuts $15. I sat in the chair and Akexa ( another one that cant speak the language) told me I needed to be shampooed and that's an extra $5.00. After she finished my left side was longer then my right side. Just moved to the area from Pompano Beach and wife wanted to patronize local businesses. Maybe she's used to higher quality service but she wasn't satisfied. Nice decor but that's about it. Other competitors provide little hand/ feet massages prior to mani/ pedi but the gal just got it over with. Speed is one thing but he left her nails slanted! When she tried to get her to fix it, she said something unintelligible and just finished. I guess they don't care about tips. The four stars is shocking. It was a weekend ; not fully staffed. Decided to give this place a try because of the great reviews.  Maybe it's good for gel manicures but one of the worst regular manicures I received.  The manicure itself bubbled, and they tried to fix it by layering on more polish.  I now have 6 layers of bumpy polish on (including top coat) that won't dry.  Also, the manicurist must not have wiped down the table fron the previous customer because there was pink dust all over table.  And no hot towel, lotion or little shoulder rub that im used to getting at other places.  Won't be going back read more
