Jimmy is the best. Always perfect and super quick. Knows exactly what to for every hair type

Always get a great cut at Beacon Light Barber. Beatris cuts my hair and is super professional. Great haircut!

Calvin's the man, changed my look from hobo to bob vivant, and I'll say this, the staff and customers had a healthy repertoire going during my visit, and though I'm a Michigan boy (say what?), I'll be back next February. Plus gotta try the cookies next door. read more

Made an appointment on their website. It let's you pick your Barber, and the services you want. Under their picture is a short resume with their experience, and a little background. However they do take walk-ins. The vibe is old NYC barbershop. It's clean with plenty of seating, great lighting. Each station is personalized by the barber. I highly recommend Alex. He gave me the best hot towel shave I've had in nearly 45 years and it was WONDERFUL! I've already scheduled my next appointment with him in March. read more

Beacon Light Barber & Salon - A look inside from the waiting area. - Barbers Near Me - Lighthouse Point, Florida

I showed the guy a photo of what the haircut should look like AND the hair was dry and laying naturally so he could see what he was dealing with and he butchered it. Completely destroyed it. Absolutely nothing near what it should've looked like. It was supposed to be curtain bangs with clean up around the sides... it turned out like a mullet 100%. read more

I wanted to share my recent experience with you because I know how important it is to find a great stylist. When it comes to my hair cuts, I am always cautious about who cuts me. Luckily, I stumbled upon Jess's Instagram page and instantly liked his work. I decided to give him a try. I am used to the chipper fading and styling techniques of NY barber shops, rather than scissor over combs, so to find a stylist in south Florida that can mimic this was hard. To my delight, Jess absolutely nailed it! From the moment I walked into his salon, I knew I was in great hands. His attention to detail and impeccable skills truly impressed me. If you're looking for a stylist who can replicate the NY barber shop experience flawlessly, Jess is the one. Without a doubt, he's my new go-to barber! Joe G read more

Great, friendly, talented traditional barber shop. Been a regular for over 15 years. Never had a bad experience.

Had my nephew with me yesterday and he wanted to get a haircut....found this place in yelp and he was super happy with the results! Jesse was his barber and gave him the haircut/fade he wanted. He liked it so much he is thinking of coming here for his cut and he lived in Miami! Thank you, Jesse! read more

Excellent cut by Jimmy. Exactly what I needed. There is a great vibe in the shop with a friendly staff

I love this great place! The staff makes you feel like part of the family and their skills outweigh any of the "posh salons" I've been to in the past. They were able to accommodate me the same day and my hair has never looked better! This fun, little jewel in the heart of Lighthouse Point has the relaxed, friendly atmosphere of a small town Barbershop and Salon with the skills to rival any big city Salon. read more

$37 for a 20 minute trim for an older man's haircut. Horrible Job by the guy groomer that they had to find to bring in. The most outrageous abuse I have ever seen. Unless you are loaded or spending someone else's money... STAY AWAY!! read more

Average haircut I suppose. Not exactly the way I wanted but I've also had worse. Major points lost for One American News Network on the TV. I just want a haircut, I don't need your fake news propaganda. read more

SWEETEST women I've ever met. I love Tina so much! She gives a killer haircut, and you can tell she genuinely loves her customers. She's probably the best at short women's haircuts in the whole city. Would definitely recommend to any woman who wants a short feminine haircut, without having to pay top dollar fees. Top dollar service, at amazing prices read more

Very RUDE. It says - "Walk in's welcome" I understand there will be a wait if they are with customers or have someone coming in. My son is 7 years old just needed a trim takes about 20-30 min or so. We sat patiently I work in a hospital and I know customer service. The woman said "Do you have an appointment?" I told her no but I don't mind waiting. She responded with "well you have to wait we have appointments" but her tone was very unwelcoming as she rolled her eyes and looked into her appointment book and looked at a gentlemen in the back and asked if he would do it. She didn't want to be bothered and was unfriendly. Unfortunately first impressions last a lifetime. I'm a paying customer not asking for favors and don't demand services just a person driving by that wanted her son to have a haircut from a local place next to my publix. Now I'll travel rather than go here. read more

My son was visiting from Denver and desperately needed a haircut. My brother highly recommended the owner,Tina, from Beacon Light Barber. Luckily, we got an appointment that day. When in town, he will definitely be back! read more
