Going inside, the place was a little challenging to find as it was tucked inside a corner of the plaza, but it had cool oldies and sports vibes. When I got here, I was taken right away, which was nice. Moving on with my review, my overall haircut was alright. The beard itself was thinned out nicely and even. The trim on my top, however, felt a little rushed. Don't mean to make a big scene, but I thought it was a little bit rude that my barber was off and on 50% of the time as he was engaging in side conversations. Overall, I'd rate my experience at Brutus, given my feedback above, a 3/5.

They removed the bulk. It is not even. It is oval shaped in the center. Absolutely DO NOT GO THERE. IF I COULD LEAVE 0 stars I would!!! Call me for a fucking refund. ***Called them for a remedy and they just kept reiterating the price. So they only care about money. Nothing can be done to fix the beard. We have to wait for it to grow back in because of the hair all being removed.

***BEST HAIRCUT EXPERIENCE TO BE FOUND OUT THERE- PERIOD…read more First and foremost nowadays, you're temperature-checked at the door, and both you and the barber are masked throughout- they take safety very seriously, which puts you at ease from the get-go. Then you find yourself in Ryan's chair, which is where it gets even better. I've seen him with other clients while waiting, and he's truly versatile- whether you want to just relax or talk it up, it's a tailor-made experience for you. Ryan's interesting- not just your blah-blah cliché conversation (like most everywhere else). Former New York firefighter, he's got that smooth talking, funny, 'east coast edgy-ness'- a genuine character. A+ for skills and technical proficiency- the guy's an artist who takes his craft seriously- a smooth, methodical touch and he can do great things with even the simplest of haircuts( like mine)- he's already shown me two optional styles/tricks for my hair. It's an amazing haircut, but equally if not more important, you feel like a welcomed guest. Do yourself a favor- book an appointment at The Buzz Classic Barber, but book it with RYAN!!!

We stopped at Panera and some barber decided to come outside and start yelling at us that we couldn't park there if we were going to Renaissance Festival. I told him that we were not, we were only going to Panera three times. When I came out, he again accosted me about going to a Renaissance Festival, it scared my niece is so bad I called the cops Then what I presume is the manager decided to lie to the cop and speak to him, as if he was the one who spoke to me initially, when I corrected this with the police officer, he was reprimanded, and the police officer had to go and grabbed the original man. Needless to say, the only two individuals I've ever interacted in this place were condescending, and extremely rude. I don't know anybody that lives in Deerfield, but I will most definitely be telling everybody about this experience.

This was my…read morefirst time going to New Era -- the shop I had been using for the past 3 years suddenly closed so I needed a new shop. I went on-line and searched for shops near me -- saw that New Era was 7 minutes from my house. I made an appointment for a haircut and shave with Chris -- and I would be there in 30 minutes. I was able to pay for the service on-line. Upon arrival at the shop the staff member closest to the door who was with a customer said to me "Welcome to New Era -- who will be providing services for you today?" I told him Chris -- and Chris came over and introduced himself. I showed Chris a picture of the cut I wanted -- he said "no problem." I have to say that he nailed it! Usually when you go to a new barber you walk out wondering what your wife or girlfriend will say. Often times they say "Don't worry, it is only hair, it will grow back." Well, when I got home my wife of nearly 44 years said "Do you look handsome!!" That is as good as it gets. Thank you Chris for the great cut and shave!!! I don't have to worry where I need to go for my next haircut -- it is Chris at New Era.!!!

My hairdresser did not want to do it. So, I fired her and found Patrick at this barber shop. FUN FUN FUN, they took me same day. Gave me an amazing pixie cut which I adore. It's me. Did the color too ( light brown) . Gave us wine, and great conversation. No stuck up Boca attitude just a cool place if you want short hair. Bonus is price ( fabulous after spending way too much for average cuts and color) Patrick ( Rafael) is a scissor genius. Now I see why it's so easy for men. Thanks guys, we will be back soon.

The 0-Star Barber I…read moretook my young son to precision to see Jey for what was supposed to be a simple hair cut. We communicated our instructions clearly, emphasizing the need for a straightforward, child-friendly haircut. We also showed him a picture . Unfortunately, this visit turned into a distressing experience. While cutting my son's hair, the barber seemed more interested in watching TV than paying attention to his work. It was disheartening to see my little boy sitting there, visibly upset and holding back tears after seen the himself in the mirror. To make matters worse, the haircut turned out terribly--far from the buzz cut we requested. Instead of leaving with a fresh, neat look, my son left feeling embarrassed and unhappy. It's hard to believe that someone could disregard a child's feelings so blatantly. Adding insult to injury, the barber had the audacity to expect a tip after ruining my son's hair. I believe tips should be earned through good service, and in this case, it was completely unwarranted. We found this shop on google and it had 5 stars from 900+ people so we felt safe. However I believe that the barber we used and maybe few others are riding on the coattails of better-rated barbers that work at this establishment without really understanding the craft. Because the quality of the haircut as terrible. An apprentice would have done a better job.
