2 years ago, I used a young man in this barber shop who was excellent, he is still there but I forgot his name (age and time does that.) I did recommend him to several people who use him. Last year, was a knee replacement and no snow bird visit -- this year when I came in, I did not see him on my first visit and used Roger who receives another excellent from me. All the barbers in this shop are terrific, (even those I don't use) and with many I know moving from New York to Florida, I already give them Bocaray if they want excellent when it comes to their haircuts.... read more

Amazing service laid-back store just a good barber The Barbara I use very talented but I'm sure the rest of them are too

My barber Chris could cut my hair with my eyes closed I trust his esthetics and how clean he is.Very cool cat he does everything to make you feel at home and is a pro always dressed in black look I just like this place.Everyone minds their own business. The other barbers are nice but my go to barber is him.He deserves to be treated with respect.Stop before you post anything you might regret later and Chris specializes in all types of cuts but he's not a magician either.Trust his cuts and don't tell him how to do his job then maybe he'll give you a cut that fits your head and hair better than what you ask for. read more

Bocaray Barber Shop - Rob on fathers land riding Atv - Barbers Near Me - Delray Beach, Florida

Have been going here since mid-2018. Started $17..now up to $35+tip so $40 per haircut. Roger does a great job but it's getting annoyingly expensive might have to try another place. read more

Eloi as always gave me a great haircut. Friendly service and pricing is reasonable. A Delray gem.

"Stumbled" Upon this Old School Barber Shop; - I had the fortune of getting a hair cut from "Rodger" - who is from Brazil. Roger & this Barber Shop is extremely comfortable, hygienic and clean. Roger performed an excellent haircut that I could not be more happier with. My wife said I looked "Handsome" - so come on, what the heck else is there to say. I attempted to pop in this "Christmas Week" - was told to come in @ 5:30pm - They were a bit busy; What do you expect? I'm new to the neighborhood - this shop is right next to my work - So, I'm sure I will pop in there at another mutually convenient time. I'm looking forward to trying my first "Florida Straight Shave" with Rodger. Rodger was extremely friendly! - Looking forward to popping back in soon! Great spot! - Plenty of parking. Easy - in and out! read more

Stopped by for a haircut today, first time visiting the establishment, I met Chris who was available to cut my hair, he was polite & requested as to what style of cut I was looking for opposed to just doing his own thing. Walk ins are welcome, the shop was clean. Chris did a good job with cutting my hair so I certainly was happy, I will return... read more

Roger is amazing!!! The sore itself is super clean and tidy. Everyone was very nice. Roger does an excellent job!!! Thank You

Walked in and they took me right away. The place was clean, attentive and staff was pleasant. I drew Chris who was next available and was very pleased with my cut. Chris himself was very pleasant, talked when talked to and didnt try to take over the conversation. Very attentive. Will definetly go back read more

Searching for a good barber and I feel communication is KEY! If you can't tell him what you want...how can he give it to you? Well, reading previous reviews I heard Roger was good... unfortunately English is his THIRD language. BUT I had a photo and he followed it PERFECTLY! So nice to get what you want! He is my new guy and right next to Poppies Deli so I have a new routine. Highly Recommended. read more

Bocaray Barber Shop - Haircut Extraordinaire! - Barbers Near Me - Delray Beach, Florida

I made an appointment with a barber that was rated well on Yelp, but he wasn't there for my appointment. So Eloi said that she would cut my hair, and I took a chance. Big Mistake! I asked for a trim, at least 3 times. Eloi gave me a very short haircut. She never asked if she could trim my mustache and eyebrows, and in a few seconds, she trimmed them, again, too short! I am extremely angry and disappointed!! read more

This is a well run and very clean barber shop. They made it easy to reserve a time online. when I arrived the staff was friendly. Good place good hair cut. read more

I just moved to Del, Ray from Wash DC. I went here for my first haircut. What an excellent experience with ROGER. He welcomes you with a big smile and a hand shake. He sits you down and asks you are you comfortable. Throughout the cut he is checking on you and suggesting things. This is Ritz Carlton service. What a fine professional. The pricing for seniors was also excellent at $23. I and my family will be back. Thanks. hsachs@starpower.net read more

Hard pass. Going in to get a trim. Walking out looking like Forrest Gump. I didn't know the back of my neck line. Went up halfway to the top of my skull. When you cut someone's hair, you should probably use scissors and not some electric trimmer over and over and over again. Not a cocker spaniel. I'm somebody with money who is paying for the work. Nice enough stylist, but perhaps not in touch with what people want under 80 years old. read more

What is to say other than I and a number of my friends have been going here for the past several years. I can only vouch for Eddie, always a great haircut. read more

I've been a long time Delray resident, and I'm new to Bocaray. I used to have my barber on the east side of town, but he moved out of state, and figured I'd give these guys a go. The shop is conveniently located at Linton and Military's SE corner. I happened upon them getting gas at the corner, and am I happy I walked in, These guys are true professionals at what they do. I've been there 4 times now and every time it's easy in and out with no waiting. Both Roger and Eddie give great service including a hot lather shave of the back of your neck and side burns. I find the price reasonable for the service and quality cut they provide. You can find cheaper yes, but do you want to skimp on the way you look for $5 - I think not. Give these guys a chance -you'll be happy you did. read more

What a find great clean place Roger is the man gave me excellent service great cut great prices Thank you Guys keep it up read more

Roger and Eddie are fantastic. I feel great every time I leave. Great hot shave and just an overall pleasurable trip. I never have to worry about anything when I walk in. read more

My recommendation is that you ask which barber is best at cutting or styling your hair. Don't assume that any barber there with an empty seat can give you the haircut and/or beard trim you want. I made that mistake and went home with a cut that was embarrassing and took me almost two months to grow my hair back to what it was before the cut. Of all the barbers there, I would (now that I know better) ask for Chris. He is excellent at both a trim, hot foam shave, and beard trim and shaping. read more

Got a clean cut here tbh. Nice fade! Fun people too great conversation! Chris I think was my barber cool guy. If you want a clean cut and a nice aesthetic come here read more

I requested a minor trim, specifically saying I want my haircut to look like I haven't had a haircut, but just clean it up a little bit... Way too short very disappointed... Luckily hair grows read more

Roger does a good job, clean and efficient shop. Very satisfied with the cut and the service,

Tiago was amazing the first time and did a great job with all the little details like the eyebrows. Came back the second time, completely disregarded what I told him, and gave me the shortest cut possible on top, and long on the sides and back. The exact opposite of what I wanted. He took my glasses off so I couldn't see what he was doing until the end when I realized it would take me a while to get my hair back to what it used to look like. It's a sad day when you find out you can't trust a barber anymore. read more

Worst cut of my 28 years living, DO NOT I repeat DO NOT go to the young kid in the back with the orange hair. He cannot give a proper fade the blend was terrible and my front line up is all messed up he pushed my corner back I asked him to follow my natural hairline and he didn't. Also asked him to not touched my beard I liked it a little scruffy and he cut it way too low for my liking. NEVER coming back 45$ not well spent. read more

Have to write for all the snow birds migrating to Florida for the winter, to the new and all those living here -- Chris is terrific. I am sure all in Bocaray Barber Shop are good, but when this 78 year old decided t change his hairstyle, and with age losing some hair--the cut was perfect. Kinda wish back in New York, I could get the same haircuts--maybe I will need to fly back to Delray or just let it grow until I see him again next winter. Thank you Chris. read more

Wow.. I just moved into Delray Beach and needed a haircut.. went on yelp and reviews were all pretty good and clean looking place.. a few people waiting and a women was available as others passed waiting on someone else (first red flag) but I needed a cut and I get complete shave .5 metal ... which she was surprised and I don't think y Used the metal.. and ran over my head once .. didn't show me back .. omg I got home and my wife showed me how uneven and missed spots... so I had her shave my head with razor!!! What a waste of money and time. Stay away!! Yelp shows as $ and they charge $20.. same as all others $$. read more

Pretty good, not a fancy place.Just a friendly neighborhood shop and great prices!.They're very patient especially with a few gentlemen with "age issues " read more

This was by far the worst experience ever. My boyfriend told the barber he wanted JUST A TRIM and in a matter of seconds all his hair is gone???? He has curly hair and he SPECIFICALLY asked for a cut just so he can see because it was covering his eyes. All his hair is now gone and he looks atrocious. Do not come here unless you're looking for some short haircut and if you have curly hair definitely do not come here they have no idea what they're doing. read more

Overpriced and they don't follow instructions. $18.00 for seniors and $25.00 regular! Yankee Clippers does it for five dollars less. Asked for short and when he was finished he replied "There you are, not too long, not too short!" Duh, why ask how I want it cut? read more

Great Barber Shop, Eddie is an excellent barber, there are others there who are good, Rafael and Roger... It is 18.00 for a haircut, Senior Price, I'm 60. Eddie is Professional and Does a great job. It is wise to call and make an appt, if you don't want to wait! read more
