About a year ago, my barber Joe moved to this shop...one I had used before I met Joe. This looks like a true gentleman's Barbershop and being accustomed to Joe of course I use him. He remembers exactly how everybody likes their hair, always has a good story and is ready to listen also. An old-school cleanup of the neck followed by Clubman completes the picture perfectly and I always leave in a better mood than when I arrived. This is a classic men's barber shop that is generally busy most times of the day and has a ton of regulars. I like Antonio as he has tons of experience and is a cool dude, but everyone here seems very good. Parking is limited in front of the shop, but there is lots of spaces near the Publix. The biggest compliment i can give is my son and I have been going to Jay for haircuts for over 7 years. Jay is the barber and I would suggest making an appointment. He specializes in men's / boys cuts. Shaving cream on neck and side burns All cuts are met friendly conversation and excellence to detail. While walking in is cool I find it easiest to pre book. I would highly recommend seeing Jay but if he's busy u can not go wrong with the other barbers. I will definitely go back time after time and year after year. read more

There is nothing per se wrong with Clint Moore Barber Shop, but the staff gives me a bit of an uneasy feeling every time I go, like I am not welcomed and a hassle for them to give a haircut to. The place is small, but pretty classy inside. The look gives it a very modern classical feel to it, which is actually a perfect look for a barbershop. Because it is such a small place, they usually only have a few staff working to give cuts, so sometimes their is a wait, but never too long. I have never made an appointment, and I think the longest I've waited here has been five minutes. Beware of the parking though, can be terrible at times because of where the building is located. Almost on the side, tucked away in the Reserve Shopping Center. The haircuts themselves are usually fair to good, and the price was at the standard rate, I think anywhere from $17 - $18, personally a lot for a haircut in my opinion, but what pretty much what everyone else is going to charge you. The qualm I have here is I just don't feel comfortable here. It almost feels like the kind of place where you have to know the owners and be in on the clique to really enjoy it. Maybe I'm just paranoid somehow about this place, but that's how I feel when I come here. Other than that feeling, I can't say anything bad. The place gives a good haircut at a standard rate, and the atmosphere is pretty swell. I personally go elsewhere to get my haircut now (even though Clint Moore Barber is the closest place for me to go), but in a pinch, this would be a place I'd come back to. read more

Worst ever Haircut. I told the barber exactly how i wanted my hair he started to cut my hair totally disregarding what i wanted. When he started cutting i noticed he was doing the opposite i stopped him but he fought me on cutting it his way which looks horrible. Way way to old & i have a botched haircut. I no longer live in Boca, but every time I go there to visit friends or family I make it a point to book an appointment with Jack. I have been going to Jack since I moved down to Florida 10 years ago after trying tons of other barbers in the area. I've recommended Jack to a handful of friends who still use him to this day and are one of many his extremely satisfied customers. Parking in front is sometime a hassle, but finding parking a few extra steps is easy and worth it! I needed a beard trim for an upcoming job interview. My normal barber shop was closed. There was one gentleman in the shop on this particular Sunday. He did a horrendous job. He completely butchered my beard. The length of the beard on each side of my face is completely different. It isn't even close. The place is always completely deserted and empty with ZERO customers, but I decided to show up for a trim anyway. They were extremely rude and treated me like I was subhuman. I just starting using yelp, so I looked up some of the businesses that I frequent just to get a feel for how accurate the reviews are. I was very surprised to see such a low rating for Clint Moore Barbers. I've been going there for years and can't say enough good things about them. I always make an apt before hand with Jack, the owner, because he is so popular he is usually booked solid at peak times, like weekday afternoon's and Saturdays. But from what I can tell they usually have plenty of availability for walkins with one of the other barbers. At certain times parking can be tough, if you want to park right near the front, as there is a busy Starbucks and a couple little restaurants next door, but there is a huge parking lot in front of Publix (in the same plaza) with plenty of spots. Over the years I've sent several people to them for a haircut and I've never heard one bad thing so I'm kinda surprised by these two reviews. Although, neither reviewer had a bad thing to say about the quality of the haircuts and to me that's really the most important thing. I drive 30 mins out of my way from Deerfield Beach because when you find a great barber you stick with them and I've been going to Jack for almost 12 years.
