***BEST HAIRCUT EXPERIENCE TO BE FOUND OUT THERE- PERIOD. First and foremost nowadays, you're temperature-checked at the door, and both you and the barber are masked throughout- they take safety very seriously, which puts you at ease from the get-go. Then you find yourself in Ryan's chair, which is where it gets even better. I've seen him with other clients while waiting, and he's truly versatile- whether you want to just relax or talk it up, it's a tailor-made experience for you. Ryan's interesting- not just your blah-blah cliché conversation (like most everywhere else). Former New York firefighter, he's got that smooth talking, funny, 'east coast edgy-ness'- a genuine character. A+ for skills and technical proficiency- the guy's an artist who takes his craft seriously- a smooth, methodical touch and he can do great things with even the simplest of haircuts( like mine)- he's already shown me two optional styles/tricks for my hair. It's an amazing haircut, but equally if not more important, you feel like a welcomed guest. Do yourself a favor- book an appointment at The Buzz Classic Barber, but book it with RYAN!!! read more

The people that work here are the rudest individuals So bad that I had to call the cops on them yesterday and get an incident report I was taking my nieces to go to the beach and beforehand. We stopped at Panera and some barber decided to come outside and start yelling at us that we couldn't park there if we were going to Renaissance Festival. I told him that we were not, we were only going to Panera three times. When I came out, he again accosted me about going to a Renaissance Festival, it scared my niece is so bad I called the cops Then what I presume is the manager decided to lie to the cop and speak to him, as if he was the one who spoke to me initially, when I corrected this with the police officer, he was reprimanded, and the police officer had to go and grabbed the original man. Needless to say, the only two individuals I've ever interacted in this place were condescending, and extremely rude. I don't know anybody that lives in Deerfield, but I will most definitely be telling everybody about this experience. read more

I wouldn't recommended this place for a cut. Not professional when it comes into exact hair cut you would like. Would literally pull my ear and scratch it with the comb. I asked for a mid taper fade, definitely did not get the cut I paid for. One side of the fade is higher than the other. Price is 21, I wouldn't pay 10 dollars for the experience I just went through. read more

The shop honors appointments, although they try to accommodate drop ins. I've used both Bobby and Ryan and I was satisfied with both haircuts. The haircuts are very reasonable as well. I certainly recommend this shop. read more

I've been going to Chris for a few months now and have been very happy. He has years of experience and it shows

Had a bad customer experience this morning. Came in at 9:05 am. One barber and one customer. Receptionist took my name and said you're next. At 9:25 am she told me that the barber had a 9:30 am appointment and that I would have to wait until after that appointment. No effort to accommodate me, no apology. read more

My son found Deerfield Buzz a few years ago and I'm glad he did because I followed his lead and started going there as well. Ryan has been our stylist right from the start and he is the best barber I have ever had and I am over 60 years old. As well as loving my haircuts, I really enjoy my conversations with Ryan, we have a lot off laughs, he is a great guy. Stephen read more

Getting cuts here for about 8 years. Ryan is awesome. He's fast and very skilled especially for what I get, fade cut. I can't leave out Chris, also very skilled. Won't go anywhere else. Unfortunately, in my opinion, the Covid "rules" suck. I guess they have to do what need to be done to stay in business. They follow the Covid protocol, temperature check, mask for both barber and customer, social distancing in waiting area if there's a wait. Who gets a haircut when they're sick? And the barber has to get close to u to cut your hair anyway, doesn't make sense. But they have to abide to the masters of Broward County, Steve Geller Mayor, Dbag. I remember when people made their own decisions. I digress.... Super clean, professional, staff friendly, great job! Highly recommend if you're looking for a barber shop. read more

Had a bad experience there today. I was in a rush to get a haircut so wanted to be taken care of quickly. Walked in and was told i could be squeezed in otherwise i would have left. Then they serve the customer with appointment over me after realizing there wasnt enough time to squeeze me in. They acted like it was a privledge for me to get a haircut by them and expected me to wait and watch this guy get his haircut. Then they got nasty with me when i called them outso i left and went to the hair cuttery and had a better experience. Costomer was not always right here for sure read more

Best barbershop. Been coming here for a few years and they do a great job. Couldn't imagine going anywhere else. High recommend. A+++

I will NEVER return to this place!!! I've been there a few times with my 11 year old son and was happy until we walked in today and encountered the most impatient disrespectful barber I've ever encountered. I was their alone with my son and felt like he was going to hurt someone. When we walked in and the barber saw that it was a child's hair he was going to cut, he rolled his eyes and started mumbling... tugged the black cape from the wall as if he was super mad and asked my son to sit in the chair. He asked what cut he wanted and when I showed him; he took a deep breath and started mumbling things again. He walked over to the receptionist.. I could not hear what he was saying but he was rolling his eyes and upset about something. Then he walked over to my son and said to him a rude tone.. and grinding his teeth.. Don't move! I did not take my eye off of them.. the next thing I saw was the barber leaning over and banging his own head on a counter. I stood up and said!! No way.. this has to stop!! I asked my son to get up because we do not need to be humiliated, bullied and treated in this manner. The guy said.. no mam.. your son moved..! I responded, you were disrespectful and nasty since we first walked in. He is a child! He was scared of you! 1- I've never had issues getting my sons hair cut in 11 years. 2- I believe that if my husband was present, the barber would not have been this disrespectful. 3- Do NOT ever leave a child unattended with him... It's the reason I'm writing this post. Please be careful!! 4- I'm sorry that I did not get his name. There two other barbers that do a great job. It's one that does not need to be around other human beings. read more

Just moved to the area and needed a quick cut, so went to check this place out. Pro's: Attentive staff- was greeted immediately by the receptionist even though the place was packed. Had a great conversation with with barbershop while he was cutting my hair, no awkward silence, genuinely good guy. Busy- a busy barbershop (especially down here) means they're doing something right. Affordable - right on par price wise with my old, and other barbershops Haircut- Asked me how I wanted it, listened, and executed perfectly Cons: can't really find any problems here without stretching and trying to nitpick I can't really say enough good things, I found my barber shop in the area. read more

Fast service Great cuts and beyond reasonable prices Ryan one of the owners helped me today

I have been going to the buzz for years, Ryan always does a spectacular job, the conversations are always awesome and he and the rest of the staff are incredibly professional, I usually don't write reviews for barbershops, but the buzz really needs to be celebrated, in these crazy times they go above and beyond to make sure you're happy. Thanks Ryan see you again in a couple weeks read more

Deerfield buzz is super professional. I loved the hospitality and the way business is run, the cuts come out super clean. All the barber's have experience and now exactly what they are doing. I personally recommend Justin, he is my new barber, considering it's close to home since I just recently moved up to browsed. My haircuts stay fresh for about a week and a half, and I go see him every two weeks. read more

The best haircut I've ever received in my life they are grate super nice, Great atmosphere.

Been here 4 or 5 times since moving to town 8 months ago. These guys make no attempt at all to make you feel welcome or comfortable . After that many visits, they still don't recognize a repeat customer ( who leaves a $10 tip). Haircut was not great either which is no surprise since I could tell the barber wasn't paying attention to what I told him I wanted. I was happy when Justin was there, but unfortunately for me he left. I wanted to make this my go to barber shop, but these guys don't know enough, or don't care to treat the customer right. read more

What a difference! Great Haircut and great barber! I've been a customer of a chain sports based haircut place. I decided to give Deerfield Buzz a shot because I moved and felt a change may be good. I was very happy with the quality of the haircut and the conversation left me feeling more like a man than having my hair cut by a girl. Don't get me wrong...I'm married to a girl and I love her, but I felt like Ryan got me...just like a good friend. The "guy talk" was nice, something I miss. Honestly, the best part was the haircut. I forgot how good my hair can look and in 15 minutes Ryan had me looking show quality. I said, "make me look like a professional" and guess what? I look like a professional. Ryan finished it off with a straight razor shave of my neck and sideburns and bam! I look like a god! Incidently, my wife said I look HOT...guess what that means!! ;-) GIVE THIS PLACE A SHOT! You may have to wait a bit ( like anywhere else) but your patiences will be rewarded with an awesome experiance. read more

I always get a great cut and shave when I come here. Even on busy days they find a way to fit you in. Won't go to another Barber!

A friend of mine told me about this shop and I went quite honestly I was not impressed. I should have known when they took less than 5 minutes to buzz someone's hair and collected $15 from the gentleman. When I got in the barber's chair he never asked me my name he never asked me how I wanted my haircut he just started cutting I also have naturally curly hair it had been growing out for about 4 months and I wanted to talk about it he cut it way too short honestly he was much more concerned with himself-- what happened at the mall and his pickup truck than any customers in the shop it's also a small place and he monopolized the conversation. I finally spoke up to him but it was too late. Much too short. If you want a real quick very crummy haircut go here--- I will never return--- it's a disgusting place read more

I have to admit they do a pretty good job cutting my sons hair but they changed the price on me last minute I always pay $15 for my sons haircut ,they (girl at the front desk and Anthony) up charged me to $20 because he got a design, I always pay $15 with a design and I explained that to the girl and they would not budge! Bobbie cut my sons hair a few times and never said its $5 more for design!and b4 I came in I told asked her how much it would be and she confirmed it would be $15!! That's the last time I cut my family's hair there!! I feel like I got ripped off last minute just because they felt like it! read more

Ask for chris. Enough said. but really this place is a hidden gem for deerfield in the area of haircuts. I never remember what number I get on the top and on the side for my hair cut but all I have to say is I just want an overall trim and chris is able to look at my hair and can tell what style I had before and adjust accordingly for that perfect haircut. Interesting enough I use gel to style my hair and I do not go in with my hair gelled at all and chris is able to tell how I style it and accomdates to my needs. read more

I recently got a cut here, i had scheduled an appointment for 415, showed up 410 was told that someone that had a later appointment came in early and took my time. I had to wait about 15 mins, which was irritating but fine. Once he finished the barber did not clean off then chair or any of the hair on the floor and then rudely says are you ready. Asked for a simple cut and came out really bad like worse than Great Clips kind of cut. Only decent part was the receptionist was nice and polite. Barber was rude and cut was terrible, please don't waste your money here. read more
