Extremely disappointing experience. I came in for a walk in. that was great, front desk was great as well. however the haircut experience was not. Barber smelled like smoke and cigarettes. I asked for a 3 clipper for length what I received was like a 1 nearly a buzz cut. I asked to reduce the volume of the hair on top and retain the front. I look like I just enlisted in the army. lol. Hair grows back but now I realize that this place is like every other mens barber. they only know 1 kind of haircut, and don't listen to their customers. I will not be coming back. very disappointing. read more

I have to say that Richie was great when he cut my hair. He was personable and made the experience fun. I don't normally like to talk when I get my haircut but he made me feel comfortable and it didn't feel forced. The reason for the 4 stars is because as I was sitting there I heard another customer say how at each location they charge a different amount and that this one was one of the more expensive ones. I'd just like to see consistency throughout. Would I go back? If I'm in need of one while I'm in the area for work I'd go back in to have Richie cut my hair again because he was great and very detailed. read more

As a guy, I've always found it difficult to find a good stylist/barber to cut my hair. And the challenge is never ending. I've had two cuts at this ManCave by ANDREW. He's meticulous in his approach, takes his time, and he is getting accustomed to my "head" and my "hair" and the style that I like. I think I've found a good match. The shop attracts a younger crowd than me, although I have seen a few "mature guys"having their hair cut. They offer you beer and/or a shot of scotch when you check in. The TV's play sports news, after all, it's a "man cave". Although there are stations for manicures and pedicures I don't think they have anyone on staff yet. Another cutter is Alex, and I've seen his work product, both cuts and bead trims, and he is also quite skilled. Oh, Andrew is quiet, and will talk with you if you start a convo, but doesn't engage in idle chatter. I've gone to some shops and the cutters almost interrogated me. I'm not into that. The place is clean, parking is available in the Royal Palm Plaza lot, as they are part of the that center. It can be a challenge depending on day/time. I feel comfortable recommending Andrew to any of you guys looking for a skilled cutter, whether you're in your 30's or 60's. read more

Called and was quoted $50 for a haircut and shave. The barber was really nice and we hit it off well. Unfortunately, the haircut and shave were a bit disappointing. Not because I care a whole lot about that kind of stuff but because when we were done I was charged $75 instead of the original quoted price AND my sideburns were uneven by more than an inch (that's never happened to me before at any barber anywhere) AND I had multiple cuts on my lip/chin AND wasn't even fully shaved upon closer inspection in the mirror when I got home. I really am not a picky person but for close to $100 ($50 quote + $25 overcharge + tip) I would expect to at least have my sideburns straight...kind of crazy if you ask me read more

2 stars is for the very bad hot shave I received today. Three bad cuts that when trying to stop bleeding would not. Will not get a hot shave from them again $40 waisted. On positive note nice establishment, they cut hair very good from the few I saw leave, but very disappointed in hot shave, will not be returning. read more

This barbershop has given me the worst haircuts I've ever had. I don't want to give out names of the barbers but I went there two different time because it was right next to my house so I gave it a shot. The first time I went wasn't horrible but when I got back home my edge was so much longer on the other side my friend had to help me fix it up. So then I decided to go again but try with a different barber and he screwed me over so mad I've never seen anything like that. I asked for a low skin fade and he pushed my edge at least 1 inch back and cut my hair wayyy to high up. Now I'm left with a little rat on the top of my head. Don't go to this place because you won't know what your going to get. And the worst part is he wasn't facing me towards the mirror so I saw all this at the end of the haircut I was headed. read more

Got a shave/beard trim. Barber didn't seem to know what he was doing. Ask for a level 2 shave on my beard with the electric razor. He didn't use a guide, and did it free hand creating un even patches in my beard. Then during the wet shave after using a hot towel on my face he rested it on my chest when it was still hot and damp. He cut my neck up and I was bleeding loads he was clearly using a blunt razor blade and had very poor technical ability. They over a $5 discount if you write a positive review online during your shave. Buying reviews to counter the negative ones. Go some place else and spare your face from these amateurs read more

When I got there, I was asked if I'd like a drink and I got a whisky neat. Kandis was ready right away, and I was a few minutes early. Kandis did an incredible job. Never had to leave a bad review before I think it's kind of pointless but this place frustrates the heck out of me. I called and scheduled an appointment for 3:30pm and wanted a 4pm appointment because of getting off of work and traffic but they said 3:30 would be fine and as I showed up 4-6 minutes late after informing them before 3:30 I would be a couple minutes late and nothing was said, they refused to take me 5 minutes late and talked to me like I was crazy, I don't know if it is because I'm a college student and they are full grown adults and think they're better than everyone but definitely would never waste my time with them again. I was calling so many barber shops today and struggling to find a place that wasn't booked up with reservations! Luckily, ManCave picked up the phone saying that they had a few reservations of their own but that they'd be able to squeeze me in. I walked in and within 5 minutes I already had Mark getting to work on my haircut. He did a great job and did exactly what I told him I was looking to get done.
