Dragged my 2 year old here for a 9:30am APPOINTMENT sat here for 15 minutes only to be told HECTOR had an "emergency" and was at the dentist??? Feed someone else that BS, unprofessional, disrespectful, and inconsiderate. Would never give my money to this barber he's a joke. In response to the owner: a dentist isn't a doctor and you only tried to call us after i sat there with my toddler for 15 minutes and then left this review - so let's keep it real. You failed to call our number when you found out about your "EMERGENCY" dental visit, and only tried to reach out after the fact. read more

If I could give this barber salon 10 stars I would. Not only are Hector, Lyric, Sway, Dominik, and Curly super personable, they are all great at what they do, and that is giving you an amazing haircut. Other barbers in this area lack what Gents Barber Salon thrives in, and that's community. Ever since moving to Florida from Boston I struggled finding a barber salon that is as welcoming as Gents. I've gone through over 20 shops since moving here and finally found my gold mine. I finally am able to look forward to spending my time at the shop and catching up with the guys on life, current news, sports, whatever. Time is priceless and I appreciate spending my time at the salon getting to know these guys. My personal barber is Lyric, he's energetic, super personable, and always cracking jokes! 10 out of 10 without a doubt! It took me a long time to finally find a barbershop that made me feel like home! Everyone is professional and all the barbers are extremely talented! Based on reviews and location I ventured to these folks late in the afternoon. Great service by the barbers-stylists. They appeared to be good with all age and hair types. I went into the Gent's for a cut and towel shave. Josue did a really nice job with the cut. He knew what to do for a quality cut - not too short and not too long. The towel shave was a new service for me. I hadn't shaved in a week, so it took a while, but Josue did a good job of cutting back my stubble with a trimmer before using the straight razor for a smooth shave. I'll definitely be back to the Gents and recommend it to anyone local. read more

I'm so grateful to have found this Barber Shop! From day one, Hector really showcased his expertise. I'm one of those 'once a week' Haircut Enthusiasts, and he is consistent every time with his quality of work! He does a great fade, and is great with a straight razor. I receive tons of compliments from friends and family all the time! I've also noticed that aside from being an extremely talented Barber, he's really good with kids! Some Barbershops in the community don't want to be bothered with children, so it's nice to see someone who has the patience! I've been frequenting quality barbershops for most of my adult life, and Gent's is clean, well managed, and very punctual. Word of advise - make an appointment online. This place is a hidden gem-- until word gets out. I stopped in to give it a try and I was impressed with the understated but classy (and classic/modern) character. I had to wait a few minutes but I don't mind checking out the place until a chair opened up. This is a new shoppe and they were busy on a Saturday. These guys are by far the best barbers within my area. The guy Arvan that does my hair is on the money.. he is very detailed and takes his time to ensure that every hair ( not much there) is in place. All the employees that work there are friendly and very accommodating. I never wait and I am looking forward to getting the works on the day of my wedding next month. Didn't have a reservation, but there was a barber available, so I was served right away. Got a regular haircut - nothing special - and a beard trim; again, nothing special. It cost $85. For a haircut and a trimmed beard? With nothing special. If I had known how expensive this place was - of course, no prices are posted - I wouldn't have requested their service. 85 bucks for a haircut and trim! Too expensive. Sorry, won't be back.

I decided to try Gent's after reading reviews on yelp. I just could not find a barber/stylist who could cut my hair to my satisfaction. I called and Caleb was able to accommodate me. In a word, WOW! He took his time cutting my hair and could not be more pleasant. He did something you never see. He checked and re-checked my hair while he was cutting it. He recommended a few things to improve the cut. It looked great when I left the shop and even better after it was washed. You will be more than satisfied. There are only two barbers at present. I understand that Hector is excellent as well. Caleb will be my go to person for haircuts moving forward. My only concern is after you get a cut here and become a regular I may never get another appointment! read more

Just left Gent's after getting a haircut and having my beard shaped. This was hands down the best experience I've ever had at a barber shop. The owner, Hector, worked on me for about an hour and I could not be happier with the results. With the hot towel treatment and his use of a straight razor, I dont think I've ever looked and felt so good. If you're looking for someone who will pay immense attention to detail and give you an amazing cut, Hector is your man. I will definitely be coming back regularly. read more

Not happy with cut from lyric, sheared very short with clippers instead of shaping with scissors or doing gradually, 30 min allotted, was done in 15 minutes, seems like volume business rather than individual concerns, won't be back read more
