Walked in and short wait. Monamie gave me a fantastic haircut. Very happy with her and the results.

Today I had the worst haircut I've ever received. I'm in shock with how bad it is and and that someone so lacking in skill could be licensed to do hair. I literally came home and my wife said, "Oh my, what happened to you?" The sad thing is I drove way out of my way to this particular Great Clips because the one closer to my house had a person who wasn't any good either. So my last three haircuts at Great Clips have been bad with today being the worst one ever. read more

Timing, was told I was next with online check in, waited 35 minutes thinking I was next and one of the barbers friends went first. Unprofessional won't go back! read more

30 minutes became 1 hour , walked out, said my name was deleted ! First and last time

Got another haircut today; usually every 4-6 weeks depending how busy I get or how my bangs hang over my eyes lol. As I've said in a previous review, I've been going to this place for years. Nice vibe with entertaining music in the background. My hair stylist is Rebecca. She is really good at what she does. Most of the time, a perfect haircut unless I decide to be more adventurous lol. At my age, I try to stay with the try and true, unlike my youth years. Looking at past pictures of myself, I had long hair and sometime a perm. What the heck was I thinking lol. With that said, the hair stylist has notes in the computer as to my previous cut and would print them out before starting the haircut; and follows those guidelines. Great system since I am sure she sees and cuts a lot of hair. We usually share information about our family and at times get into some light hearted debates. Always a great experience. Check it out when you're in the neighborhood and if you need a cut. read more

I walked into Great Clips today and was pleasantly greeted by Nikki and she took me to her chair. I brought a picture of a style I wanted. She went above and beyond to duplicate the style in this picture. She used a technique with special scissors that created snow from my white hair lol but when she was done, she duplicated this style to a T. I walked out of there a whole new me. When I got home and washed the snow out, I was able to style it with little to no effort and with a little product on the ends, this style is exact, it looks like I spent a fortune at a high end salon and I feel fabulous!! Nikki, I hope I spelled your name right, THANK YOU so much!! I will see you in six weeks.. You're the best!! read more

I signed in on line. The app said no waiting. & I was 1 st in line. When I got there there were two people already in the chair. The women who greeted me asked if I signed I said yes but it showed me no waiting. She entered my number again & I sat down, at this time there was no one else in the store. While waiting a women & another guy came in & sat down. The women got called then the guy. So I spoke up & said excuse me but I was here before both of them then the employee who entered my # when I got there said " oh but they signed in on line " @ this point I lost it. Well what did I do if sign didn't I sign in on line & have you reenter my number. At this point they lost me as a customer. read more

I had to wait an hour for a haircut as there were just 2 people working. This is a walk in salon. The hairdresser gave me a discount to make up for the wait, thanks. I cut 10 inches off, donating to Locks for Love. It took the hairdresser awhile since I have a lot of hair. She cut some long layers into my hair, giving me a cute cut. read more

I came in the barber shop getting a buzz cut and the person was pretty rude, rough with me, and did a horrible job. luckily i spoke up about my hair and even then he had an attitude about it (my hair looked a little bit better than before). He messed up my hairline! How can you mess up a buzz cut! read more

I very recently moved to Pompano Beach and the previous 5 months were very stressful. It finally became time to stop putting off a hair cut. I live in the neighborhood so walked, about 30 minutes. All I knew is there was a Great Clips a walk away. It was a Wednesday, mid- afternoon. I immediately got checked in by a gentleman whose name I unfortunately cannot recall but he was professional and precise. There was one client waiting and 2 clients being serviced. No one else entered before Erica asked me to come over. She was very pleasant. We briefly discussed my situation and my desires for the cut, which was well overdue. Included in my previous work experience was as a salon manager for 10 years so I had an "inside track" on what I thought should happen and how. Erica completely understood what I said and took great care to NOT over cut. She was cautious in all respects , asking questions throughout. Erica performed impeccably, doing exactly what I would have done myself! 4 days have passed and I couldn't be more pleased. I told Erica I would be back and I fully intend to see her again (if possible). The price was right. Service was excellent. Salon vibe was calm and friendly and neat and clean. 5 stars all day long! read more

Was a loyal customer for many years. I won't be going any longer since I showed up last week after checking in (like normal) then I arrived to see I was next per the virtual line. But then the hairdresser took another person that clearly knew her. That is fine, but why do we check in online then? Anyway, they lost a longtime customer in me. read more

I came in tonight at 5pm and there was no wait. RAVEN was my stylist and she did an Amazing job. She has a great personality and was super sweet. I will definitely be back again. Thank you, Timmy from Fort Lauderdale. read more

Getting a great deal shouldn't mean sacrificing quality but that seems to be the case at this location. My husband went in to get a hair cut and his experience was below par. His "stylist" disregarded his request to cut his hair line square in the back and it is completely rounded. She also vigorously cut the hair with little intention and everything on the top in uneven. When he went to pay, the "stylist" looked over his shoulder to watch him tip and when he clicked the "other" option, she made a snide remark insinuating he was going to tip lower than what she wanted. This was the worst experience he has ever had getting a hair cut and he will not be returning! read more

Suzy cut my hair and I was thrilled how it came out. She was also quick so I didn't have to spend a lot of time there. I will continue to see her and also send my friends to her she is amazing!!! read more

I stopped into this great clips the other day hoping for a good haircut but had my fair share of trepidation. I have my regular barber up in Deerfield but Great clips had given me a special card for haircut for veterans. It was nice that I could check in on line. That seemed to save time. When I arrived I was already first in line! The gal who grabbed me was nice enough. I felt a little guilty getting there at the last hour they were open but we had plenty of time. We started with a few questions about how I liked it but not too many. She did a pretty good fade overall. A "1" on the sides. I honestly wasn't sure this kind of barber could do that so I was pleasantly surprised. In fact I mentioned that I like my part cut in and she did that as well. I did not expect that. I appreciated her taking the time to do the best slick haircut even though I don't think they get such requests often. There was a Publix next door and a Sushi place I like so the location was solid as well. Definitely a Great clips I would recommend. read more

I got a great cut and on sale for $1/.9@ that particular day. I thoroughly recommend this business in Pompano Beach. My stylist was awesome! read more

I give up. I have been a customer/client for several years. Even driving 15minutes to Pompano just to go there. I have always been happy with the way Mark cuts my hair. It seems however the management goes out of their way to make it difficult to get the haircut. First, I am only interested in having my hair cut by Mark. Mark usually works on Sunday and that is typically a convenient day for me. When I called today to see if Mark was working, the phone went to voice mail. The online check does not allow one to choose a specific stylist. I signed up with an 89 minute wait time. I also signed up for a text message alert 15 minutes prior to being next. I did not receive the text and when I arrived, you guessed it, Mark wasn't working. Way too much trouble and way too many options to go elsewhere out there. Good bye Great Clips. Not so great. read more

got my haircut yesterday by Andrea, not sure if that was her name. she completely removed my sideburns without asking me. She is one those hair cutters that has the chair turned the whole hair cut so you can't see what she's doing. and I mean the whole haircut. You never face the mirror. I'm sure she wasn't taught that way, and by the was she cut my hair she had very little tracing. Awful haircut read more

Stylist didn't listen to my instructions They were easy, and simple . She took the cut too high, after showing her where to stop and begin to blend. She didn't have the correct clipper size, # 3, and I don't think she really understood what I was asking her to do. She seemed to want to small talk more than focus on my cut, even after I told her, another stylist had screwed it up, just last week ... I WOULD NOT GET YOUR HAIR CUT HERE ! Go somewhere else !!!! read more

Came here recently for a cut and style of my long, thick and difficult to manage hair. My stylist Kathy, was beyond AMAZING! Once I told her what I wanted, she just knew exactly what to do. I am very happy with my hair, the service, parking at Publix garage is free. I will definitely go back to cut and restyle my hair. read more

I went in yesterday and asked to have 3 inches taken off my hair. Once the hair started falling, I knew it was way more than 3 inches. I could not do anything but let her continue because the damage was already done. My stylist took off 5-6 inches of hair. Instead of long layers in the front, she did short layers. It took a year or so to get my hair at the length it was and now my hair looks choppy and messy. I can't do anything with it. Very unhappy with the service and will not return. If you value the length of your hair, do not go here. read more

I just got the worst treatment you can imagine!! I have a coupon and called to check about this, it's directly from greatclips.com for $11.99 hair cut. The lady that answered the phone told me she can't know if it works until I check in, she says she doesn't want to make me drive all the way there without knowing if it works or not, so I say well that's contradictory because you say I must check in for you to know if it works, then she puts the manager and he tells me he can't know either so I check in on the phone, he sees me on the system then he tells me he can't know until I CHECK OUT!!!! How is that even possible!!! Then I tell him to make me check out in the system and tell me if it works, why would I go there without knowing if I can use my coupon, and why do they contradict themselves. He tells me IF I DON'T WANT TO PAY FULL PRICE TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! And hung up!!! They wanted me to go, get service and then charge full price!!! Rude and layers!!! Not recommended. TERRIBLE!! It is not a crime to use a coupon, that is why they exist, I needed 2 haircuts for my kids but for sure this would be the last place on earth I would go for a haircut. They were absolutely rude and without manners, horrible! read more

Great Clips - Hair Salons Near Me - Pompano Beach, Florida

Since COVID I have not had a haircut since early March 2020. Today is February 6, 2021. I head from friends that the Great Clips in Pompano Beach went above and beyond to ensure their customers were safe during COVID. I was very impressed with not only the safety but with my haircut. My hair is wavy with a lot of cow licks. Beth did an outstanding job looking at the picture I brought of the short haircut and style I was looking for. I typically go home and completely restyle my hair. Honestly this is the first time I have come home and checked out the style. She did an excellent job. I did not have to touch my hair. Amazing, I'm so very, very pleased. I will definitely be returning to Great Clips in Pompano Beach. It's well worth the 30 minute drive for me to get there. Also make certain you download the Great Clip app. You can schedule your place in line before you leave home. They text you when it's your turn so you can stay in your car and not have to sit in a waiting room. Definitely safety first practices here. Thank you Beth and everyone at Great Clips 2547 E Atlantic Blvd, Pompano Beach, FL 33062 Brad T read more

Debbir at Pompano is horrible!! She does not have emphaty neither for a 5 year old kid or for his mom. My son is 5 and its obvious that this was not his first time ever hair saloon experience. All she kept saying was I cant do that like this like that and what so ever. She had a still face not even smile or try to talked to. And at the end. She put her scissors on the table and said I am done. Not even 5 minutes passed after we stepped in to the hair saloon. We went out of the saloon but my son insisted, and we got back. This time David was in charge and he made a GREAT job!! All my son's complaint was "mommy its tickling". Wasn't it so normal?? Hope you have cameras and saw what happened. I believe who deserves to get money is people who have emphaty and great customer service. Otherwise people like Debbie either go home and find herself a job with zero human interaction. Nice people deserves the best and people like Debbie should stay away from human interaction. Ebru Ozel Horrible experience on Sunday, 4 pm read more

The store this morning was with lane three people before me, any way they ask me to sign on line even that I was in the store, after sign on line was told that at 10:30 I will have hair cut, mention that at 11:00 am I need to be at work near 3 minutes away ! That said maybe you can have hair cut before 10:30 ! Stay at the store waiting the three persons before me had hair cut, I was waiting one of the lady mess with the computer and after finish the third person before me passed another before me ! Was mad the time sign 10:45 and was and realized that if I wait more will be late to work ! The Brazilian lady is very professional in cut and very social is a gift for them having her in the store! Is bad for this business that you can not check on line before they open ! If some one want to check availability let say at nine a clock and being there at 10am or 10:10 am you can't !!! First time was there in August I was awesome just relocated from another state and I was glad finding a good place for hair cut near my work and my house! But today was worst coordination and waste time ! read more

Just remember this is a stylist not barber I didn't know the difference till now other than that cool people who

The place is fine but the rating is mostly for the barber Debbie. Her attitude is rude and disappointing. When I gave her a 15% tip she rolled her eyes and asked me how long I've been in this country. I think 15% was a fair tip for the job that she did. She was friendly during the hair cut but her reaction to tipping, which is something the customer provides based on the service, was uncalled for. read more

Rebecca was the best stylist I have had in a very long time. She was witty, engaging and friendly, the best part is the girl can cut hair. I haven't been this happy with a cut in many, many years. Ask for Rebecca and you won't be disappointed! read more

Mark does amazing work and takes great pride in getting the cut right for the customer and making sure the customer is happy!

The store is clean and they are practicing safe techniques during this COVID - 19 time. However, if you want your hair cut they lack skills. I had my hair cut by Mark I showed him a photo of the cut and I walked out with a cut that was different and it is an awful cut. My hair does not lay flat , it is uneven everywhere and nearly impossible to style. It looks horrible and I am probably going to get a wig to wear for a few weeks. I would also like to mention, that I have visited this location before and experienced Debbie who is very rude. Another stylist was doing my hair and she made a big stink because the girl was cutting my hair dry as I requested. I gave this location 2 chances and I won't return. read more

Great staff, they were super friendly!! They also did a great job on my haircut! I am from out of town and they treated me as a local!

The people cutting hair in this place should be allowed to run with scissors in their hands....in a word the hair cuts in this place SUCk! But other than that great place to get a few laughs at the people that spent money for a terrible hair cut read more

I have always like Great Clips no matter if I am in my Ohio home or my Florida home. The Great Clips on Atlantic Blvd., Pompano Beach, Fla. has always had friendly stylists who listen to what I want. John, new to this location, is a bonus! The shop was empty when my turn came up so John was not rushed as the stylists typically are. (Yes, folks, stylists are timed, my one gripe with Great Clips) John helped me decide to abandon a very frustrating hair do that I was trying and to try something new. He gave me help and advice every step of the way. It was pure luck that there were no other customers at the time or I would not have gotten the excellent advice and genuine help. Two friends said they would go to THAT Great Clips for their next cut. A+ John, from a teacher. read more

The Pompano Beach Great Clips gives the best service and haircut in town. Not only are they less expensive that the other salons....the stylists are better. We were paying a lot more for an inferior hair cut before we found this place. This is a newer salon and Each time I come in they seem to be better than the last. They are friendly, quick and good. They don't take appointments but I check in on line and usually get right in with out waiting. I highly recommend this salon! read more

I can highly recommend Pompano Great Clips. I found the Staff to be professional with years of experience.

Wow I just left this was the worst haircut I've ever had. My lines are all messed up. It looks horrible !!!!
