I've read a bunch of bad reviews on this place!! Here's my experience- I go once a month and I'm really happy with the quality of their work and customer service. However, I did just recently went last week and they weren't open yet (even though it was supposed to be open based on stated business hours) but I just came back a couple hours later and they were open. Never have to wait. I can see where it's frustrating when they're supposed to be open but closed when you show up! I suggest going later in the day and skip mornings because that's when they most likely "could" be closed. Phone number doesn't work to call. Maybe the owner should fix that as well. read more

Terrible!!!! I went in on a Sunday, the lady asked me to sit down. I waited 5 mins because she was on the phone. She did my service, eyebrow, and gave me the worst experience ever. I have scars on my lid! Scars! So big that I cant even hide it!!! My lids/brow area were so sore for days. Give me my money back!!! Or better yet, close up shop! Honestly not surprised by all the negative reviews and wish I read them before I decided to get my brows done here. The WORST threading experience of my life. I was in the area running errands and decided to stop by this place to get my ceyebrows cleaned up. The ladies working here aren't welcoming or friendly but I figured it's not hard to clean up brows but nope! I told her multiple times that I only wanted my eyebrows cleaned and didn't want to mess with the thickness. The lady doing my eyebrows is paying no attention to my brows but talking to her co worker the entire time. I had a bad feeling and told her for the tenth time that I only wanted cleaning but was left with pencil thin brows. I am naturally blessed with thick brows so she really did some damage to leave with just a line. I legit cried after seeing my eyebrows and expressed my frustration to which she said I only cleaned up. No customer service, horrible work and 1 star because I don't have the option to give a lower rating than that. read more

I have been going to this place for eyebrow threading for YEARS & will recommend them to anybody. When I first started going they weren't exactly friendly but after consistently going they are more kind & friendly now that they know me. Came here on a fluke! Needed my eyebrows done badly. Took only a few minutes and the results are clean and beautiful with minimal pain. She also did my upper lip area, it hurts so be ready! :) super smooth and happy. Please keep in mind threading is typically more painful than waxing but better for skin and sensitive people! My results last waaaaay longer when I thread. read more

Worst brow appt ever! I look ridiculous! I explained to the girl i just wanted a little clean up and to leave my brows full. She did what she wanted and now i have two little pencils! Its awful! Did not get at all what I asked for. Told the lady I was growing them out and that I knew I had some bald spots that were still growing in and I told her not to touch that part and that I wanted a very slight clean up, but not to touch them too much. I've been going to this place for years and the quality of service has never been spectacular but they always did a great job with my eyebrows. The last few times I've gone it's been new ladies working there that have no customer service skills whatsoever, and they're always distracted by either being in the phone or talking to each other. Today, the lady kept walking away from me to talk to the other lady, she paid no attention to my eyebrows, they were uneven and she missed entire sections. Before I knew it, she was telling me I was done and getting the next person in the chair without even sanitizing it. I have no problem being respectful to other cultures and religions, just let us know what's going on. They didn't explain what was happening, they only told my brother to sit. We walked in and there was very little welcome. Commanded me to sit down and didn't ask any preference on my brow shape. She was moving my head and it was very painful. Afterwards, I had cuts under my eye and didn't even do a good job on the other eye. Overall very poor experience. read more

Just visiting Reno and walked in Friday afternoon 2/22 about 2pm. Didn't get a chance to catch some review but yes she cut me on both sides of my brows and when I was home noticed some hairs still in place. Also they are thinner than I like. If there was a 3 1/2 I would have chosen that. I love having my eyebrows threaded. It doesn't take very long and it creates a really polished look. I've been 3 times and I've had to ask them to use the hand sanitizer every time. They're not very on top of cleanly practices, so that's a bit concerning. The price is $15 to get your eyebrows threaded. Wish that was a bit lower, but overall it's worth it. They are the only place in Reno that I have found that does eyebrow threading. read more

Bad customer service. There was only one person working the first time I went in the salon and she was busy, along with two other people waiting. I walked in, and the lady that worked there just stared at me, and went back to what she was doing. Didn't even get a simple "hi" or a "have a seat and I'll be right with you" so I awkwardly stood there not knowing what to do since I've never been to that place. I eventually sat down and got my eyebrows threaded when she was done with the other customers. She did okay, nothing special. Today, I decided to try to go there again and give it a chance. They close at 9pm, and I went in at around 8:30. The lady just got done with another customer and right when I got in the salon, she gave me the rudest look and said, "Sorry, no time". Really??? This is the worst place! A lady here was probably having a bad day and didn't treat my sister right. She didn't even tell my sister to sit down she just moved her hand and led her to the chair. Then she moved my sisters head super rough to look the other way. After my sister showed me her eyebrows they were so skinny and she had cuts! 10/10 don't recommend. I told the woman it was my first time and she showed me where and when to hold my face. Fast, affordable, and loved my brows. What more could I ask for? This would be my second time going here. My first was an alright experience, don't know her name, but she did good. The second time, today, she did "okay." After looking closely into a magnifying mirror, I noticed that she missed certain areas and I still had some short hairs around. I was not impressed at all. She also pulled some skin, as I have dead skin now around my eyebrows now. It's also quite dark in the store, so I feel that could've been factor to why I have one missed areas. This place is always soooo good to us! The lady's are nice fast and super easy. Waaaay affordable as well! They make good convo, they let you sit with your party and they are always sooooooo nice to make sure you're fully happy and that you leave with the eye brows you came for!! Went in once and will not go back. There was no wait but after she was done, and I looked in the mirror and I couldn't believe I had to tell her where to remove the missed hair. It was obvious, so I didn't understand why she missed it. It seemed like she got mad after asking her, for the third time, to fix it. I will look and try other places around the area. IF there were any options to give this place a negative star I would most definitely would. Let me begin with the the service, oh wait?... I NEVER RECEIVED ANY. Due the point being that I was a male the woman at this stand neglected to pay any attention to me. However whatever soap opera she was watching seemed to be much more important than having to take any business from me. I had first asked if she had any time to do my brows. She nodded and said no, then I first asked if she only does male eyebrows on the weekends since I was told by others that they did. I've loved how my eyebrows have looked going to Beautiful Brows. That said, they don't talk to you or are not communicative. Today, I had a new lady who was actually pushing my head around from side to side and pressing her fingers into my eyeballs. Seriously, she was pushing my head around. To top it off, my brows look awful. I'm going to have to pencil them in one side and they just don't have that recently done look like they usually do leaving there. My cousin and I walked into this location to get his brows done. We were not greeted and had to walk around to get their attention initially. After we asked for service, we were denied it because my cousin is a male. We asked why they wouldn't thread a males eyebrows and the lady at the front kept mumbling so much we could not understand her, even having asked her three separate times to repeat herself. I would not recommend anyone go here, plus $15 for eyebrows seems like kind of a rip off IMO (considering the other reviews on here). read more

Don't go here. I'm only giving it 2 stars because my eyebrows matched each other. The lady that worked here was so rude it was ridiculous. I thought that I would be extra nice because maybe she lived a hard life or something however that did no good. She had this ticked off look on her face the whole time and when she walked, she slid her feet. Normally I don't complain about things like that....IF MY BROWS TURNED OUT PERFECT lol. So she finishes and I looked in the mirror and it wasn't what I asked for but I wanted to leave well enough alone. I paid her and left. I got home and low and behold I wake up the next day and I have scabs all over the place. Never again. Because I have melanin in my skin, with the possibility of hyper-pigmentation, the last thing I need is for my face to have dark spots after an abrasion heals. These ladies really, really know what they are doing. They are fast, painless, clean, and precise. As we know, beautifully threaded eyebrows are just what you need to complete any look. Their attention to detail is excellent. Perfect arches. This is one of the most professional threading salons that I've ever been to. Also - they are REALLY fast.
