I've read a bunch of bad reviews on this place!! Here's my experience- I go once a month and I'm really happy with the quality of their work and customer service. However, I did just recently went last week and they weren't open yet (even though it was supposed to be open based on stated business hours) but I just came back a couple hours later and they were open. Never have to wait. I can see where it's frustrating when they're supposed to be open but closed when you show up! I suggest going later in the day and skip mornings because that's when they most likely "could" be closed. Phone number doesn't work to call. Maybe the owner should fix that as well. read more

Terrible!!!! I went in on a Sunday, the lady asked me to sit down. I waited 5 mins because she was on the phone. She did my service, eyebrow, and gave me the worst experience ever. I have scars on my lid! Scars! So big that I cant even hide it!!! My lids/brow area were so sore for days. Give me my money back!!! Or better yet, close up shop! Terrible costumer service, and terrible service!!! read more

Beautiful Brows - Scars on my lids! Ugh! - Eyebrow Services Near Me - Reno, Nevada

Honestly not surprised by all the negative reviews and wish I read them before I decided to get my brows done here. The WORST threading experience of my life. I was in the area running errands and decided to stop by this place to get my ceyebrows cleaned up. The ladies working here aren't welcoming or friendly but I figured it's not hard to clean up brows but nope! I told her multiple times that I only wanted my eyebrows cleaned and didn't want to mess with the thickness. The lady doing my eyebrows is paying no attention to my brows but talking to her co worker the entire time. I had a bad feeling and told her for the tenth time that I only wanted cleaning but was left with pencil thin brows. I am naturally blessed with thick brows so she really did some damage to leave with just a line. I legit cried after seeing my eyebrows and expressed my frustration to which she said I only cleaned up. No customer service, horrible work and 1 star because I don't have the option to give a lower rating than that. read more

I have been going to this place for eyebrow threading for YEARS & will recommend them to anybody. When I first started going they weren't exactly friendly but after consistently going they are more kind & friendly now that they know me. But that's beside the point because regardless of this, they have never been rude & do an amazing job at threading eyebrows! I always leave there feeling like a new woman read more

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. If you're looking to get your eyebrows did, don't ever come to this place. First of, if you're a dude, they will refuse service with no explanation. I went in today and the ladies that were working, didn't explain why they couldn't do my eyebrows. They were just talking different language and made the whole situation very uncomfortable. If you're gonna refuse service for your religion beliefs or for whatever other reason, you ladies shouldn't be running a business like this. read more

Came here on a fluke! Needed my eyebrows done badly. Took only a few minutes and the results are clean and beautiful with minimal pain. She also did my upper lip area, it hurts so be ready! :) super smooth and happy. Please keep in mind threading is typically more painful than waxing but better for skin and sensitive people! My results last waaaaay longer when I thread. read more

Never again! The lady who did my eyebrows wear hand gloves I get the string can hurt your hand, but it's not sanitary. You wear the same glove over and over again touching so many faces. So not okay!!! Will never go back over read more

Worst brow appt ever! I look ridiculous! I explained to the girl i just wanted a little clean up and to leave my brows full. She did what she wanted and now i have two little pencils! Its awful! The girl was so ruff it hurt terribly. She stayed on the phone the whole time while shouting in my ear. When i told her it wasn't what i wanted she said well your brows were too bushy! I wish i had read the other poor reviews before going! It's terrible.....runnn!!! read more

Did not get at all what I asked for. Told the lady I was growing them out and that I knew I had some bald spots that were still growing in and I told her not to touch that part and that I wanted a very slight clean up, but not to touch them too much. She thinned them out and got rid of all my progress. When I told her this she kept arguing with me. Beyond disappointed and will not be returning. read more

I've been going to this place for years and the quality of service has never been spectacular but they always did a great job with my eyebrows. The last few times I've gone it's been new ladies working there that have no customer service skills whatsoever, and they're always distracted by either being in the phone or talking to each other. Today, the lady kept walking away from me to talk to the other lady, she paid no attention to my eyebrows, they were uneven and she missed entire sections. Before I knew it, she was telling me I was done and getting the next person in the chair without even sanitizing it. I'm absolutely done with them, for $15 to walk out of there worse than when I came in, I'm done. read more

Humm, where to start... if you're going to refuse service to men it would be nice if you were clear on why. I have no problem being respectful to other cultures and religions, just let us know what's going on. They didn't explain what was happening, they only told my brother to sit. Finally after 15 minutes and after repeatedly skipping over him they told him that none of them could do his brows. read more

If there was a 3 1/2 I would have chosen that. I love having my eyebrows threaded. It doesn't take very long and it creates a really polished look. I've been 3 times and I've had to ask them to use the hand sanitizer every time. They're not very on top of cleanly practices, so that's a bit concerning. The price is $15 to get your eyebrows threaded. Wish that was a bit lower, but overall it's worth it. They are the only place in Reno that I have found that does eyebrow threading. read more

We walked in and there was very little welcome. Commanded me to sit down and didn't ask any preference on my brow shape. She was moving my head and it was very painful. Afterwards, I had cuts under my eye and didn't even do a good job on the other eye. Overall very poor experience. read more

Bad customer service. There was only one person working the first time I went in the salon and she was busy, along with two other people waiting. I walked in, and the lady that worked there just stared at me, and went back to what she was doing. Didn't even get a simple "hi" or a "have a seat and I'll be right with you" so I awkwardly stood there not knowing what to do since I've never been to that place. I eventually sat down and got my eyebrows threaded when she was done with the other customers. She did okay, nothing special. Today, I decided to try to go there again and give it a chance. They close at 9pm, and I went in at around 8:30. The lady just got done with another customer and right when I got in the salon, she gave me the rudest look and said, "Sorry, no time". Really??? Why can't they be more courteous and say it nicely? It wasn't even 9pm yet. Never going here again. Everyone that works here are extremely rude, they don't even deserve one star. read more

Just visiting Reno and walked in Friday afternoon 2/22 about 2pm. Didn't get a chance to catch some review but yes she cut me on both sides of my brows and when I was home noticed some hairs still in place. Also they are thinner than I like. I would not recommend and would not return. Black marks are cuts of my brows today 2/24 they are sore to the touch. Cuts have never happened to me before read more

My first time getting my brows threaded: Walked in and was automatically greeted by both employees working (one was even threading another client). I told the woman it was my first time and she showed me where and when to hold my face. Fast, affordable, and loved my brows. What more could I ask for? I feel like threading isn't the time to talk like when getting your hair done. It's a simple 5 minute process. read more

This place was absolutely horrible. I don't know why she was in such a bad mood. But she cut my under brow i bled she didn't say a word to let me know I was bleeding. She didn't even help me clean it up. She forced my head to move very roughly. Didn't say one word to me. Took my money from my hand didn't say thank you or bye. When I said thank you she stayed quite. I don't recommend this place at all. This happened on 02/17/2019. In the afternoon. read more

This is the worst place! A lady here was probably having a bad day and didn't treat my sister right. She didn't even tell my sister to sit down she just moved her hand and led her to the chair. Then she moved my sisters head super rough to look the other way. After my sister showed me her eyebrows they were so skinny and she had cuts! 10/10 don't recommend. This also happened to one of my sisters friends. read more

The girl working didn't even talk to me when I walked in, didn't ask what I wanted with my brows, and was on the phone on her headphones the entire time. She threaded my brows down way too thin after I had just spent 2 months growing them out. Don't go here. read more

This would be my second time going here. My first was an alright experience, don't know her name, but she did good. The second time, today, she did "okay." After looking closely into a magnifying mirror, I noticed that she missed certain areas and I still had some short hairs around. I was not impressed at all. She also pulled some skin, as I have dead skin now around my eyebrows now. It's also quite dark in the store, so I feel that could've been factor to why I have one missed areas. Lastly, it felt so rushed. I was in and out within 5 minutes! This isn't brows on the go, please ladies take your time & add some lighting in your store! Will not be returning.. read more

The lady messed up my eyebrows. Not worth the price at all. Both ladies were rude and one of them was wearing her own gloves that's pretty nasty. read more

I hate that this is the only place in Reno to get my eyebrows threaded. There is really only one woman who is ever shows a sliver of politeness and customer service. The others have no patience for their customers and never ask what you want. It's like as long as they're getting paid, it shouldn't matter how they act. Absolutely horrible customer service. Please, someone else open up another threading salon. read more

Didn't ask how I wanted my brows done, moved my head and didn't speak to me at all. My cousin and I went together and she left with cuts on the bottom of her brow. Not worth $15 at all!! read more

This place is always soooo good to us! The lady's are nice fast and super easy. Waaaay affordable as well! They make good convo, they let you sit with your party and they are always sooooooo nice to make sure you're fully happy and that you leave with the eye brows you came for!! This is our second time here and we will be back!! read more

Went in once and will not go back. There was no wait but after she was done, and I looked in the mirror and I couldn't believe I had to tell her where to remove the missed hair. It was obvious, so I didn't understand why she missed it. It seemed like she got mad after asking her, for the third time, to fix it. I will look and try other places around the area. Not recommend!! read more

The lady moved my face very fast. She wasn't gentle at all she'd go so fast it'd hurt. Made a comment that I have a lot of hair. And tapped me rudely when she was done. Also gave attitude when she saw I didn't give her a tip. Not worth it. read more

I've loved how my eyebrows have looked going to Beautiful Brows. That said, they don't talk to you or are not communicative. Today, I had a new lady who was actually pushing my head around from side to side and pressing her fingers into my eyeballs. Seriously, she was pushing my head around. To top it off, my brows look awful. I'm going to have to pencil them in one side and they just don't have that recently done look like they usually do leaving there. Will keep going back, but not to her. read more

Attention males!!! This place will only service males AFTER 3PM due to cultural beliefs. I have been refused service 2x because I am a male. I gave this place 1star bc there is no option for 0stars. read more

IF there were any options to give this place a negative star I would most definitely would. Let me begin with the the service, oh wait?... I NEVER RECEIVED ANY. Due the point being that I was a male the woman at this stand neglected to pay any attention to me. However whatever soap opera she was watching seemed to be much more important than having to take any business from me. I had first asked if she had any time to do my brows. She nodded and said no, then I first asked if she only does male eyebrows on the weekends since I was told by others that they did. She then nodded no and continued on with her ridiculous show as if she had better things to do. No wonder they downgraded to such a lower place such as a stand in the middle of the mall. Honestly you would think that since they're officially in a stand they'd try to promote more business to get you to try their services but, I was wrong. I am very mortified by the way I was turned down and let me start off by saying this, Hair is hair weather it be on any person man, woman, trans, etc... Would I ever recommend these types of services ever again? Never!! I would never let anyone have to go through such horrible service such as this. Please do yourself a favor and locate a better one that isn't as rude and selfish as this one. read more

Don't go here. I'm only giving it 2 stars because my eyebrows matched each other. The lady that worked here was so rude it was ridiculous. I thought that I would be extra nice because maybe she lived a hard life or something however that did no good. She had this ticked off look on her face the whole time and when she walked, she slid her feet. Normally I don't complain about things like that....IF MY BROWS TURNED OUT PERFECT lol. So she finishes and I looked in the mirror and it wasn't what I asked for but I wanted to leave well enough alone. I paid her and left. I got home and low and behold I wake up the next day and I have scabs all over the place. Never again. Because I have melanin in my skin, with the possibility of hyper-pigmentation, the last thing I need is for my face to have dark spots after an abrasion heals. Takes forever to fade those dark spots from my face. read more

So I liked this place, but I find it unprofessional of them to not tell me when I get there that not only am I gonna have to wait for the peson that was there getting there eyebrows did...... but now to other women walk in and apparently they are next... take in mind I was waiting by that time already 15 mintues..... and then she tells me they are next and that's fine but you could have the courtesy to say something before just having me wait.... read more

These ladies really, really know what they are doing. They are fast, painless, clean, and precise. As we know, beautifully threaded eyebrows are just what you need to complete any look. This place is horrible!! No custcustomer service!! I walked up and waited a few minutes since the lady had a customer. Another worker walked up and I asked her if the other location (around the corner from the center booth) was open, and SHE BLEW ME OFF! The customer that was already sitting in a chair had to tell her that I was asking her a question. So the worker turned around around and I asked her again, "is the other location open" she had the worst attitude and said "yes" while rolling her eyes at me! I walked away heading to the location around the corner. Signed in and sat down. They had two ladies on the seats and one waiting, made two with me. Another lady walked in, signed, in and sat down. They called the next person so the first lady got up and got in a chair. They called the 2nd person so I got up and sat down. The two workers started talking to each other (different language) kept looking at me and at the 3rd lady. I asked if there was an issue. One lady said that the 3rd customer was before me. I told them no I walked in before her. So I sat down. They continued to talk (different language) so I asked again if anything was wrong. They tried to play it off that it didn't matter who was first or second. I told her to check their damn sign in sheet and they could see that I signed in before the 3rd lady signed in! They just looked at me in disbelief that I stood up to their bullshit! Never in my life have I ever had such horrible customer service! Rude rude rude people!! I would suggest going to a different location in town! It's even cheaper! read more

Horrible business. They refuse to do a mans eyebrows. The worst service I have experience. Save your money and go somewhere else.
