I was apprehensive as my previous the reading experiences resulted in breakouts and pain. Lol. However she was super gentle and my brows looked even more exact than last time. I had my brows and lashes done here before my trip abroad with Heena. I am super picky about my brows and this was the first time getting my eyelashes done. Heena did a wonderful job on my eyebrows. I have been getting them threaded for years and she deforest did a good job. But was the threading service so expensive? In NYC I typically pay less than $10! Heena decided the silk lashes would be best on me so that's what I got. The service was relaxing and they looked great, although I was able to see a very distinct line between my lashes and the silks.... Perhaps because I was looking closely and this was the first time I got them done do I really have nothing to compare the to but again I ask why so expensive? Is this typical? I'm going to check out a few other places and possibly update my review. read more

I came in to have my brows microbladed for the first time ever and wasn't really told what was going to happen, how to prepare, etc. I just started feeling the blade suddenly when she got started. It made me feel uncomfortable but I figured she knew what she was doing. I got done and was fairly pleased with how they looked. I was given some ointment to use to keep my eyebrows hydrated while they were healing over the next couple of weeks before my touch up 3 weeks later. I did tell her that I had really oily skin, but my instructions didn't change for taking care of my brows (even though I just read somewhere else online that the after care for oily skin is very different than normal skin). My brows started to fade away almost immediately so I asked if they could fix them. She said she would have to wait until my 3 week appointment to do that so they could heal, which makes sense. I went back in this past weekend for my touch up. 4 days later and the microbladed part of my brows is almost completely faded again and I've followed all of the after care instructions. She was nice, but for $500 I would have hoped that there would be an effective way to microblade my brows. Highly disappointed. Will likely just go somewhere else once my brows have fully healed. read more

Torn on the stars... bought a Groupon for my brows.. As I was completely frazzled since I was getting to leave for Spain, so her name slipped my mind, however she was sweet and paid attention. I opted for the threading,.. my first time with the threading.. So for me.. I am extremely picky and prefer to do my own shaping... I usually get waxing just for the clean up... So I wasn't that impressed - when I got home to my mag mirror - I was let down - but since it was a Groupon, I will def try again - oddly enough, I found the threading really relaxing... go figure. read more

New to the Charlotte area and this was my first time here and also my very first review. I am still in the parking lot as I write this!!! Hands down this is the best brow wax I have ever received! Sarah is a godsend! I have been getting waxed for years and no one has ever been able to give me an arch or actually take the time to properly groom my brows to look like sisters or distant cousins for that matter! Like you I read the reviews and pick a place and have been growing my brows out for months at a time during each trial and error fail. I went to Nue Brow and Brazilian four weeks at a time like clockwork for months nothing changed. I tried the Benefit brow bar in the mall and all they did was draw over what I had so when I went to wash my face it's like what now?! I truly can't stress enough how great my brows turned out and what a great experience I had! The service was very friendly quick yet precise! Who doesn't want that? I didn't have to wait at all and the decor is lovely! I would also like to add if u call and no one answers the front desk will call YOU back like they did me! They don't ignore missed calls which really made me feel like they wanted my business and indeed they earned it! I will definitely be back!!! read more

It had been awhile since my last visit and I definitely think Beautiful Brows has gone downhill some. I know they were remodeling and I was not impressed by the person who did my brows. I remember having it take a good 15-20 min. I was done in about 10 minutes and I had hairs to tweeze when I got home as she missed some spots. read more

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. It was my first time going in, so I was already nervous. My appointment was for my eyebrows, lip and chin area. The place was clean, and the lady who I had the appointment with was nice, but she tore my face up. During the process, it didn't hurt much, so I really wasn't concerned, but when I got home, I noticed that she had grabbed skin above and below my brows on both sides and left little areas that would eventually turn into scars. On the right side of my upper lip, she had done the same thing. But the worst was under my chin. I seriously looked like I had been in a car accident and hit my chin on shards of glass. And painful! I can't tell you how painful it was when I washed my face. It's now three days after my appointment and I still have little scars around my eyebrows and under my chin. And, to top it all off, my brows are completely different shapes! I've got an arch in one and the other one is just a soft curve. I will never go back to this place, or recommend it to anyone. Heather wax/threaded my brows at least 3 times over the last couple of months. She was 30 minutes late the first time. 20 minutes late the second and third times. She did a great job, but the girl cannot stay on schedule and sure there might have been some weather related issues with customers getting to the spa on time, but the first visit was a clear day, she was just late the second visit the client was late because of weather, the third time, I don't know...but I was waiting more than 20 minutes. I had an appointment today Friday 8/7/15 so I called to see if she was on schedule. The receptionist was unable to tell me so I'm thinking that this is just how she operates. I will never get service at the time I am scheduled. Several years ago I was a beautiful brows client and Danelle was my esthetician. She was awesome. I loved her work ethic and her work so much I left bb an followed her to another spa miles away from my house when bb is just seconds away. I will be going back to Danelle at my old spa (who've I've been seeing since I leflt bb years ago and will never leave her again. Service is important and people's time is important. This says more about the management/ownership at Beautiful Brows than anything else. Two thumbs down. You guys suck. read more

I moved away from Charlotte a few years back, I drove from Richmond , VA to have my mother and I eyebrows done for my brothers wedding on February 1, 2014.What I didn't know is that this business was sold almost a year ago to a new owner name Heather. I made an appointment for my mother and I thinking it was still owned by the original lady, the one you are reading all of the great reviews on. All I could say is I wanted to cry!!!!! The technician name was Anna, I believe, she just has NO IDEA how to shape eyebrows! I have fine hair and my arch is different on both eyes, but the previous owner technicians knew how to shape my eyes so they look full,balanced and shapely according to my face. I left literally looking like I"m astonished on one side and the other eyebrow looked like I was confused!! My mother eyebrows were no better, one of her eyebrows had a high arch and the other had no arch at all. I paid for my mothers brows but she didn't charge me for my eyebrows. What was meant to be a great experience for my mother turned out to be a disaster. I will have to cut bangs into my hair to cover this mess!!! If you go to this place expecting the rave reviews just know it's not the same owner. The techs with precision and true training from Anastasia are gone. Her team didn't need stencils, they were true experts on eyebrows. This place has no clue, unless you enjoy the Joker or Ronald McDonald look I would stay away from this place!!!! read more
