Always keeps you in the know of what's going to happen next. When you go in, it feels like visiting good friends!

I read all the reviews (of lots of different places in Charlotte) before deciding to go to Dr. Ashley for some cosmetic enhancements. I like that she is a plastic surgeon and not just a PA or nurse who has gone to some training sessions to learn to inject fillers. Dr. Ashley is very direct and will tell you what you need (which is not always what you thought you wanted). I trust her expertise and have not been disappointed with the results. Yes, there is some pain but it's mostly just tiny pinches and it only lasts a few seconds. I try to schedule my appointments either late in the day or on my day off in case there is any swelling. You can return to work the following day without your coworkers noticing you had something done (they just think you look refreshed). Everyone in the office is so nice and you can call in with your questions and they're happy to answer them. Follow them on Instagram to see before and after pics! read more

I discovered the med boutique a couple of years ago and I have been in love ever since! they recently switched to a new location, lovely and easy parking. Once you enter the boutique you are greeted and made to feel like you are in a luxury spa. Janelle is fantastic, she is up to date on all techniques and trends , she has mastered the expertise leaving me with a "me but better" natural result. Aside from being a pro, she is very pleasant to be around and uplifting. Love going there and definitely recommend. read more

Can't express enough how happy I am to have come across Med Boutique. I'm originally from California and was going to fly back home to get lip fillers done when I go back to visit, but doing my research I decided to make the 2.5 hour drive to Med Boutique and I'm 100% happy with my decision. Dr.Ashley was amazing & attentive. She is a master injector and my lips look amazing. I even told her she was so motherly.( love that quality about her ). Also, thank you to Brittany and Janelle for making my experience even better! Can't wait to go back. read more

I meant to put a review a while ago, I am very happy to have found Dr. Ashley, it took two consultations, because the first time I got too nervous and somehow I made the mistake of choosing a different place, for my first time. On my second consultation I realized I should've come to see her for my first experience, she was honest and a true artist, knew exactly what I needed, she recommended Xiomin ( hope I'm spelling it right) similar to Botox, with her experience she suggested 20 units less than the other doctor had used on me and she also suggested Belotero and Radiesse I was very happy with the results, very natural and seems to be lasting more. Thank you Dr Ashley, I will be back to see you for my next time. read more

I absolutely adore Dr. Ashley @ MedBoutique! Her expertise, patience, and compassion set her far apart from the many other options in Charlotte for injectables and fillers. Her daughter Janelle is probably one of the most magnetic people I have ever met and helps keep MedBoutique running like a well-oiled machine. Every nurse, assistant, front desk coordinator, etc, that I have met has been so friendly and kind. Go check 'em out!! read more

I visited Dr. Ashley and Janelle this past week and I just needed to reiterate how much I LOVE everything about Med Boutique. Each one of the staff members are an absolute joy to work with. Allie is so welcoming and kind, she checks you in quickly and makes sure you're comfortable while you are waiting for your appointment to begin. During my most recent visit, I received Xeomin in my crows feet and lip filler for the first time. I absolutely love Dr. Ashley's work, she listens to exactly what you want, is honest and professional with her opinions, and most importantly is an expert in her craft. Janelle is fantastic and walks you through the entire process. She goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and communicates the processes of each procedure. I cannot emphasize enough how much I've loved my experiences both time I've visited. I will never go anywhere else! **I'd also like to add that I got Xeomin in my forehead in November of 2020 and it STILL looks fantastic :D read more

I'm almost afraid to give this rave review for selfish reasons. That I want to still be able to get an appointment once other people experience the expertise of Dr Ashley and Janelle. An unbelievable duo. This isn't a stuffy, snooty establishment. No intimidating feels. They are so welcoming (you feel right at home on day 1). They pride themselves on enhancing your features. Not overfilling. And artists they are. It's natural and beautiful. People noticed something was different about me, or the "you look great" comment. But never did they suspect I had filler. I found my heaven with them. I hope you will too read more

Worst experience with filler. After developing lumps and bumps throughout my lips, I went back into the office so they could poke holes in the bumps and attempt to squeeze the filler out. Weeks later and even more bumps were forming. I called the facility back and they wanted to see me again and I was told that if I wanted them to dissolve the filler, they could ORDER the product to dissolve the filler and that would take a week. While in the office and being examined, both Dr. Ashley and her daughter said they had no idea why my lips had formed all of these bumps. After a lot of research, seeing several injectors, and several other botched lip jobs, I know that it was the injectors error that caused these bumps to form. Dr. Ashley knew that too, but played it off like she had no clue why there were bumps. I also know how dangerous to not have dissolver on hand in case of emergencies. There are many places to get filler...please be careful and do your research! read more

FANTASTIC!! Love the staff and Janelle and Dr Ashley are THE BEST! Prices and specials are right on time. They are located in a great area with lots of shops and eateries. I would HIGHLY recommend them. I've been a patient since 2014 and I would not trust anyone else besides my Dermatologist to take care of my skin. VI PEEL is the best for women of color. read more

My first experience with this office as a whole, from the first phone call to get info to making a consult and finally going in has been AMAZING! This really is a hidden jewel that (the selfish part of me) wants it to stay that way, on the other hand more than ever (the generous part) I want to scream bout it to the rooftops all over CLT. Cassie at the front has a welcoming smile and personality to boot! Janelle and (her MOM) Dr. Ashley are just sweethearts. Plus the mother daughter duo work together perfectly. Nothing but wonderful things to say! Please check this place out for any needs to just make yourself feel pampered & well hell just to feel better :) read more

By far one of the best medical spas in the state! When you have someone sticking needles in your face, you do not want someone who took a weekend course.... I choose Med Boutique because a plastic surgeon of great caliber, was administering the treatments. With skills of an artist, Dr. Ashley creates a masterpiece.... Feel your best when you look your best! read more

I loved this place, from the reception desk to Janelle and Dr. Ashley, they were so friendly and patient (I was pretty nervous the first time!) I love the results and will absolutely be back. I also really appreciated that I didn't feel at all pressured to do anything. She made suggestions for her "perfect world scenario" but it was a someday suggestion with absolutely no sales push whatsoever. I'm already scheduling my next appointment. Don't hesitate if you're on the fence! read more

Love, love, love Dr. Ashley & Janelle. Always in the know about latest techniques and products. Botox and fillers are everywhere, but the difference at Med Boutique is the artistry. You should always look like a fresher version of yourself-not frozen. I want to thank Med Boutique for improving my outer self. There is definitely a correlation with looking good and feeling confident. read more

The staff and Dr A at Med Boutique are BOMB... this has been my go to place for years and I wont go anywhere else!~

Im was newbie to fillers and I'm so happy I came here! I was super nervous during and the initial days post my procedure but the team was there to constantly calm my nerves and explain everything! I love my results and deff will be back. read more

If you are looking for Botox or any enhancements you have found the best place in Charlotte. The staff are extremely warm and will tell you what you need to hear, not what you necessarily want to hear. My only complaint is that I wish I came here first instead of another med spa that I tried a few months before this one. Dr. Ashley was way less expensive and gave me results that were a million times better. This place is the BEST!!! read more

I don't typically with reviews but I believe they deserve it! I have actually been going here for a few years but my first time with fillers was today. They were so awesome, literally held my hand through it and it didn't even hurt!!! I have watched my friends get them with tears running down their face, but i barely felt a thing!! I can't say enough good things about them plus LOVED my results....if you are on the fence about giving them a try just do it, you won't be disappointed!! read more

Love love Dr .ashley & Janelle Iam extremely happy after my lip filled , they are concerned about your comfort and ensuring you feel beautiful ,. I would highly recommend them read more

What a little gem I have found. Med boutique is a subsidiary of Ballantyne medical associates. This is the section of the doctors office that offer to you beauty enhancements. Being a first-time client, I inquired about their services online and the response was from the owner herself! Her attention to me and friendly customer service attracted me right away.I am so glad to have found them and they could not have been more professional or nicer. I went in for a new procedure that I have never had which is Xeomin. Xeomin is a sister to Botox and they educated me on this new injectable. I strongly recommend them to anyone who enjoys simple enhancements in their face. read more

I have been getting neurotoxin injectables for over 10 years and NEVER have I looked as awful as I look since I allowed Dr. Carlene Ashley touch my face. I have a droopy eyelid on one eye, completely uneven "11s" and my right eyebrow raises much higher than my left. My face is completely asymmetrical. Additionally, Dr. Ashley made a point to speak negatively about my appearance, specifically she told my my chin "recedes and it shouldn't do that" and that my eyes were tired looking. After my initial visit, I went back to have them assess the damage and all they offered was to add more neurotoxin "to even things out." I'd have to be insane to let them touch my face again. All Dr Ashley could do was say sorry and tell me to wait until it wears off in 3 months, which I guess is the best I can get in this situation. I will NEVER go back to this place and would caution others against it as well. They will botch your face!!! read more

A facial with Lisa is amazing. SO relaxing and she loves what she does and it shows. Call now, you won't be sorry.

Very friendly, professional and affordable. Beautiful results. I am very happy to have found this place.

Dr. Ashley and Janelle of Med Boutique are not simply experts, they are MASTER CRAFTSWOMEN of their trade! So much so that I travel from Charleston, SC to have them perform their artistry. They don't simply "inject fillers" but they design the shape and look of your face and take extreme care to ensure they understand your facial structure before any injections so that you have the most gorgeous natural aesthetic. Their work is so stunning that even my medical spa aesthetician in Charleston asked who was responsible for my "look"! The results last for months (even well over a year), are stunning and I can't believe how I feel nearly ZERO pain. Although I'd trust no one else other than Med Boutique, it's not just their exceptional work, it is their radiant warmth and infectious energy that makes a 200 mile trek from Charleston worth every penny and minute. Dr. Ashely and Janelle are wonderfully inspiring and have you laughing even with needles in your forehead! And one final yet truly amazing occurrence that demonstrates they truly care and operate with 100% integrity - after nearly a year since my last visit, I arrived ready for a complete round of injections (forehood, cheeks, lips, etc) but Dr. Ashely and Janelle expertly assessed that I did not need more other than my forehead as my results were still strong - even after I insisted and kept asking - "are you sure"?? In my previous experiences, no other or very few Doctors / medical clinics would have refused payment or a client's insistence for "more". I couldn't believe it and it affirmed that Med Boutique / Dr. Ashely and Janelle care more about me and their clients than having us look like the Lion King! I adore them and their craft. And I highly recommend you consider no other if you care about yourself and desire a truly beautiful experience, look and feel! read more

I saw CHRISTYLEE and she is phenomenal! I've just moved back to the Carolinas and was hopeful of finding someone that really knows what they are doing with Botox. I've received Botox injections before, but none have given the results like Christy Lee was able to produce. She really knows her stuff and I am more than pleased with my results. She took her time to discuss the entire procedure with me, and made me feel comfortable throughout (which says a lot as I hate needles). Even after the Botox injections she sat down with me and discussed skincare, products and educated me on tips to take better care of my skin. Highly recommend her and this location!! read more

I was really nervous about getting filler, but I knew that I wanted to improve my natural cheekbones just a tad (ended up getting a little filler in my chin as well). Whenever I went in, there was a calm that fell over me after speaking with Dr. Ashley because she is very straight forward and honest about what she thinks you do need, but also she will speak up if she doesn't think you need something. She takes pride in her work and she wants you to come out looking your best. Any work that she does is a reflection of her practice and she does not disappoint. I'm an extremely happy with my results and it feels good to know I can trust someone without hesitation when it comes to my face (because, well, everyone sees it lol). Dr. Ashley does a beautiful job read more

Everyone at Med Boutique is helpful and amazing! Casie got me checked right in and was very helpful (did you know your FSA may cover some procedures? I didn't - but Casie did!) Janelle led me upstairs to the treatment room, and helped calm my needle-jitters. Dr. Ashley did an amazing job with my injections and it was a really great experience! Their Walk-In Wednesday special on Botox is a great deal and the B-12 shot has really boosted my energy! I will DEFINITELY be back! read more

I Went to med boutique with my mom because she was getting Botox it was her first time and she was nervous. I really love how everyone was very friendly and extremely passionate about what they do. While I was sitting there waiting with my mom I was asking the receptionist about the cool sculpting she squeezed me in the schedule to get a free consultation which I thought was really nice! My consultation was more then I expected she covered all my questions and concerns and she really took the time to educate me on the procedure and machine. I got a price list afterwards and on it says your beautiful I really love how they make you feel special at this office and don't just treat you like a patient they really take time with you and I can see by being there for that hour they build friendships with everyone . I will definitely get the cool sculpting done and I will be writing another review afterwards . I am very happy I found med boutique and can't wait to schedule my appointment . read more

I went in to get Xeomin/Botox to raise my brows because one brow was lower than the other. Unfortunately, the results did not match up to expectations. My brows were not raised, they were actually lower, and I went back to get them fixed. I was told there was nothing they can do to fix it, that the purpose of Xeomin is not to lift the brows but to get rid of wrinkles. This just isn't true. I've had this done 4 times before, each time my brows have been lifted. Since I have to go elsewhere to get this fixed, I asked Janelle Ashley, the owner, for a refund, at least a partial because I didn't get what I asked for in the beginning. She was highly inflexible, stood by the work, and said it was done correctly. She offered to send me before and after pictures, and I verbally gave her my email address. However, she refused to send to me without me first requesting in writing via email. I finally sent her a written, email request. I still have not received the pictures. Bottom line, if a patient didn't get what they paid for, you need to be a little more humble and give them their money back. It's just good business. Dr. Ashley is a wonderful and talented person, I hate this happened because of her. Even the best makes mistakes. There is no excuse for poor management and poor customer service. read more

i am not sure what everyone is raving about. The facility is nice and the staff friendly. Do I look great? Eh? not sure. I think it is more of a cash cow for the owners than a true medical treatment facility. If one notices, the reviews are not recent. There is only (1) in 2016. Not really impressed with their customer service or their concerns over client issues. There answer seems to revolve around, "You need this, and this and more of this and then we can do this..." Not impressed and not going back. read more
