The facial was amazing, and Katie was very knowledgeable and professional. She made some great recommendations for my skincare routine. Then I did a lip flip with Rachel. I had such a wonderful experience with Brooks Scurry for my injectables. From the moment I walked in, she made me feel completely at ease. I've always been someone who really struggles with needles, but Brooks was incredibly gentle and patient throughout the entire process. She took her time, checked in with me often, and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. What really stood out was her knowledge and professionalism--she clearly knows her craft inside and out. She explained everything in a way that made me feel confident and informed, which helped ease my nerves even more. It pains me to write this review because I have stuck with JoBrent and Infinity med spa since they opened. I was a member of their monthly skin care club and did injectables (Botox,Dysport, fillers, etc), Coolsculpting, and some of their other services like peels and lasers. I had stuck with them over 5 provider changes over the years. Last fall I unfortunately developed perioral dermatitis and spent a few months trying to figure out cause. When I was unable to I put my monthly membership on pause given the irritation the facials were causing. Not saying they were root cause but at the advice of my dermatologist I paused while I figured it out. The front desk staff was helpful and told me that I had 60 days to unpause and given the time of the month I paused I would pay for one more month of my membership before it paused. So I booked my last facial for February after a pause to let the PD calm down. When I left my work day uptown to drive there, when I got to the front desk they first said she was running behind 10 minutes and I would have to see a different provider because my last two I had seen had left the practice. I was fine with that. I bought two products and sat down and waited. The front desk then came and said I would have to pay a differential for the provider because she was not a part of the monthly skin care club. I questioned that because they had placed me with this provider. Front desk girl disappeared and came back and said oh I just spoke with JoBrent and actually you not only have to pay this differential but the entire amount because your membership is paused. I tried to explain what I was told and front desk girl was like well someone must have given you wrong information. I almost cried - I had left work to do this, was embarrassed at the exchange (whole room and other customers heard), was confused on what I was actually being asked to pay for, made it seem like I was trying to get something for free and take advantage of infinity (I was not!). Then they told me JoBrent was too busy to speak to me. At that point I said thanks very much but I'm going to cancel the facial today. She then said I would have to pay for it! I left that day and received an email from Someone at the medspa and it was very anticlimactic , didn't seek to understand why , and just stated why I had shown up for an appointment that wasn't part of my membership. If that was the case I was very confused as to why no one had explained to me - especially because they had asked ME to reschedule my appointment originally!! I think this business has had so much turnover and the staff and providers are not nearly as well trained as they once were. After so many years with Infinity, I would have just really appreciated a personal call so that we could LISTEN to each others point of view. read more

My friend recommended Perri Johnsen for a facial. It was exceptional! I recently moved to Charlotte and am incredibly picky about my skin. I have had many facials, over my life, and Perri was one of the best! She's incredibly detailed and does a very deep clean. She also helped me refine my current skincare routine. She even told me how to get the best use out of the products I already own. I've struggled with acne-prone skin my entire life, and I'm still glowing many days later, after my facial. I also see Kendra Jackson for Botox and she is AMAZING. I've personally seen some Botox nightmares but Kendra is so talented! I went here for the IV hydration and it was a nice clean room and pain free iv insertion, but the nurse Allison is so pushy and always trying to up-sell! She would fill a shot for vitamin B injections while getting the IV hydration, and say it was good for my condition! I never signed up for that and it was very pushy and made me uncomfortable and ended up defeating the purpose, and was all so she could charge me for extra services!! I ended up sick for a couple days after, since my body is fragile and it was an overkill of vitamins! I have since taken my business elsewhere and I am all about maintenance, but need to trust my provider and not feel like I am dealing with being sold and up-sold the whole time!!! Products are also pushed too and RUN ladies!! Not smart to be like that either, and if I trust and feel comfortable with someone, I would recommend! read more

Recently I visited Infinity Spa in Charlotte, North Carolina, for the very first time. My daughter was getting married in less than a week and I wanted to do something to look refreshed and rested. From the moment I walked in the door to the time I left, I was treated with warmth, professionalism, and caring. After a discussion with aesthetician, Perri Johnson, per her recommendation, I decided on a deluxe facial with derma plane and extractions. I was so stressed about the impending wedding when I came in but the process of the facial made me feel more relaxed than I had in months. I am 66 years old and this was my very first facial. When I came in I had peach fuzz on my cheeks, and blackheads deep below the skin. When I left I looked a little rough because my skin had never had anything done to it, but within 3 days, I was glowing, with clear, smooth skin. I have always been very self conscious about my complexion but I felt like a movie star at the wedding. I feel more confident than I have in years, and I have received several compliments about how pretty my skin is. The facial was not extravagant, but if it had been, it would have been worth every penny. I will definitely return for another. I could not have been happier with my experience. I went to get a deluxe facial from Perri today and once again, she knocked it out of the park. I met the Infinity team through an event with work. I've always struggled with acne, but hadn't had a facial in years; opting for R&F, Clinique, and other acne "cures" to no avail. They were offering a discounted rate for facials so I bought one, what the heck?! I had a consultation with Perri, who made me feel completely comfortable and also confident that she could help me get rid of the acne and have the great skin that I've always wanted. I've had two facials so far this month. I have noticed DRASTIC results in the clearing of my cystic acne. Turned OFF by behavior at front desk! I went into Infinity MedSpa to inquire about a gift certificate for my sister for her birthday. Two women at the front desk were gossiping and making catty remarks about the body and face of a patient that had recently left. I was really put off by their comments and attitude, and the way they acted like they were letting me sit at the cool-kids-lunch-table by gossiping in front of me. I thought it was incredibly unprofessional for women in their 40s and 50s (guessing at age here). Instead of buying a gift card, I just smiled and asked about their services and said I'd come back. I purchased a gift certificate for Infinity MedSpa at a charity event and it was listed for 2 treatments of Sculpsure. When I called to make my appointment, I mentioned the gift certificate and came in to have the treatment with Alyson and set up my second appointment when I left. I came for my second appointment today and was treated by a different person. Alyson is apparently no longer with the company. When I went to leave I was slapped with a $1600 bill that I cannot afford. They told me that my certificate was for one treatment (which is not what I was told at the charity event). They would not budge on this, so I ended up putting the huge bill on my credit card and I get to make payments on that for the next year. The owner did not seem to be the slightest bit sympathetic. I didn't see results after the first treatment, so I certainly would not have come back for a second if it were not included in the gift certificate. read more
