Having a professional background in service and hospitality: making assumptions like this about brand new clients is exactly what prevents them from being repeat clients. I told the manager I appreciated the follow up information, but this was not a transparent process or reflective of great service, and I would not be a returning due to this. The manager couldn't care less!! If they are doing so great they don't care to retain first time clients, I would happily recommend someone to take their business to another salon/spa that actually cares about retaining customers.. which is what I will be doing!
