I already had an appointment which I intended to keep since I needed the cut but I asked him politely about the 60% raise in cost. He sent a rude text and in part said he had decided to quit being a bargain (Seriously!). He also informed me he had cancelled my scheduled appointment I had intended to keep. As I was getting my hair shampooed I mentioned to Anna that I was getting my hair colored the next day, that girl that colors my hair doesn't cut it. Anna told me that she's also a colorist and that she was available to color my hair right then. I haven't been happy with my other colorist the last few times noticing my hair color has been very brassy so I decided to give Anna a try and let her color and cut my hair. Anna is amazing she corrected the damage and did a terrific job with my highlights my all over color and my cut. My advice to those new to the salon is to get there early as parking is limited in the front and the ample parking would be across the street or in the residential area. Backstory I met Shawn Babauta at JCPenny as I went in to get a haircut and she mentioned she was moving to Dolce Salon which was the best decision she made as well as for Dolce Salon to add an amazing stylist to their team. Shawn is so talented and the thing I love about Shawn when I first met her was she listened to what my concerns were and what my inspiration was. Also Shawn gives good feedback on styles that compliment your face and how much work a certain style would be for example bangs. That's a plus for me because not many stylists listen or give you that type of feedback. When it comes to a long term stylist I feel that not only are their talents a plus but also vibing with them is important. He she leaves for another salon then ai would follow her to her new place of employment! I am not the only one that feels this way. She is always busy and I don't mind waiting for her.
