This is a small little library. Has a few computers and is very quite. They have a few bean bags in the pack that is a very comfortable place to chill and read. Loved that they had a decent section of popular mangas and a nice air condition to make things comfortable. read more

I recently became a stay at home mom and after about a month my 4 year old was getting bored of being at home so I started to look at more things for us to do outside the house that cost little to no money so I decided to let her check out the local library since she has never been to one and to my surprise that day was story time at the library and they also had craft corners for the little ones as well as play time which was really cool and fun for my 4 year old and even my 1 year old who enjoyed shaking the maracas during music time and crawling all over the place it was the perfect atmosphere for littles and boy did they have fun oh and this library has Free Lunch for the kids pretty much every day read more

I love the traditional feel of this library. Everything is clean and very organized. I was pleasantly pleased to see that they use the Dewey decimal system. I haven't stepped foot in another library in years, but I am curious if others still do as well? I'm also curious if people/kids know the DDS??? I have been wanting to come and visit for a while now, but time got away from me, unfortunately. I finally came because of a yoga class for my little. The class was so good, and the instructor.....wow! She is so patient and kind! I was VERY impressed with her. The class size wasn't too big and all the children were very receptive to her. The space was perfect for the kids, and everything was very clean, neat, and in order. After the class, I was so taken with the library that we decided to stay and look at books for a while. It was so peaceful and relaxing. I adore the children section. My littles were so enticed to stay and read books, and my heart flipped! I have always loved reading, and to see them wanting to read because of this inviting environment made me so happy! We are excited to come back regularly to check out book and explore new stories! read more

Took my niece to get a library card so I got one for myself. We were in and out so quick! They helped us and gave us so much useful information really quick and the f not desk lady was so friendly! The library is so well organized that my niece found what she was looking for right away. read more

After being inside for months thanks to covid 19. I decided to glove and mask up my two kids and take them to pick new books since we've read ours 900billion times. While inside a worker offered my kids an activity bag. They said yes and I thought it would just be crayons and coloring pages but when we got home it was multiple actual crafts to build. My 7 &3 year old are so excited for new crafts. I LOVE our library. They found a way to let the kids have fun even when they no longer have all their events. Thank you Beaumont Library. I took my daughter to our first storytime here this morning. The upstairs space is wonderful! It is spacious, inviting, and has lots of gorgeous natural lighting. They have stations set up for the kids to do a variety of things in addition to toys and books. The storytime area is great too! Nell is so energetic with a variety of songs and very animated in reading the books. Then there is an activity for children to work on and they can return to stations for learning and playing. I am looking forward to many more story time adventures with my daughter this summer and in the years to come! read more

I've been coming to the activities at this library since my daughter was 1. Mrs. Nancy, Mrs. Laura, Mrs. Nell are awesome and all 3 of my kids enjoy coming here. My older daughter struggles with her writing skills and I really appreciate that the library offers writing classes 2-3 times a month for her age group. Story time consists of stories, crafts, free play and sometimes snacks for the kids. read more

I am in love with the children's programs at this library. I'm a stay at home mom with two girls under 2 and we recently moved to Redlands. Once we moved I started to look for fun and educational programs I could take the girls to since they are too little for school and sports. I couldn't find anything in or around Redlands but my neighbor mentioned this library and I immediately took them and fell in love. It is about a 20 min drive but totally worth it. Mrs Nell is so patient and kind with both parents and children. My daughters have learned so much while attending the library. They have learned many songs, hand movements, colors, abcs and how to get along with other children. Words can't describe how amazing this program has been to my family. read more

Not a bad library and most of the staff is helpful. My beef is that the restrooms do not have paper towel or soap dispensers - just a blower that blows stinky regurgitated toilet air on one's hands. I have asked several times if they can get paper towel and soap dispensers installed and each time it is treated like it's an inconvenience and I'm wasting their time on this matter. Half the time there's no hand soap to wash hands either. How many times I have seen vagrants and other patron's do their bodily business, not wash their hands, and then grab the door handle on their way out. Well, I'm not fond of touching pee and fecal matter on door handles nor am I too fond of having to wipe my recently washed hands on my shirt and then using said shirt to open the door - not to mention the serious health hazards this can cause. When I asked if they can get dispensers installed the replies are: "We would love to but it would just get stolen" or "I can tell you (me) that it's not going to happen." Stolen??? Not going to happen??? Guess the patrons that do clean up after themselves aren't as important as the patrons who have no regard for someone else's health. If the library can afford to hire a spiritual medium to do "readings" on the building then they can surely afford to pay a few bucks for paper towel and soap dispensers for the health and well being of their patrons. I've contacted the Riverside County of Health as well as the Beaumont City on this matter. In closing, I'm willing to bet that the staffs private restrooms have soap and paper towels. read more

This is a great library for a small town, they are very nice, and the kid programs are very cute. if you have a toddlers, this is a great place for them to spend an hour, the librarians who teach are very kind and patient with kids, and always have fun things to do, the children's book section is great, it would be lovely if they had a bigger area and more books, but can't beat free books and classes. and they have modern, easy check out & in, which is great! read more

Attended the kids program with my 4 year old grand-daughter, and I was thoroughly impressed. Exceeded my expectations with great structured time that included an hour and a half of; stories, flannel board, music, dancing, singing, sign language, craft, and play! The librarian Nell was amazing with the kids, her energy and enthusiasm kept my grand daughter engaged all the way through! I am so pleased to learn we have such a great program here in our city and we will be sure to join in every chance we get! I was also please to see that there were about 30 kids in attendance, so the community is definitely benefiting from this! Thank you Beaumont Library District! read more

I love this library...I moved to Beaumont 12 years ago and I have a very long commute, so I have learned to love books on tape/CD. I'm in this library at least 2/3 times a month. The staff is very friendly, they always have the latest best sellers available. They are also very lenient on their late fees, they usually give you a weeks grace period. My only gripe is that their website has been down for months. And I feel that they need to expand their books on tape/CD collection - very limited. As someone else pointed out, they are closed on Wednesday, however they are open both Saturday AND Sunday, which makes up for this. read more
