Mrs. Nell is so patient with the kids...
    Jessica R.

I've been coming to the activities at this library since my daughter was 1. Mrs. Nancy, Mrs. Laura, Mrs. Nell are awesome and all 3 of my kids enjoy coming here. My older daughter struggles with her writing skills and I really appreciate that the library offers writing classes 2-3 times a month for her age group. Story time consists of stories, crafts, free play and sometimes snacks for the kids.

I've been here a few times with the kids. It's an old place, but they don't let that stop them from doing programming for kids. Good place. The staff are friendly and helpful.

From the moment you walk in, you're surrounded by gorgeous stained glass windows and thoughtful touches everywhere you look. There are several inviting reading and learning rooms, plus a dedicated children's section that's perfect for little ones. Outside, there's a small but lovely garden with plenty of seating; ideal for enjoying a book on a nice day. I especially loved discovering the board where anyone can post a book review. It's a great way to engage with fellow readers and get new recommendations. My husband and I make it a point to support local businesses and community resources when we travel; signing up for a library card and following their event calendar is one way we connect with each new place. This library is truly a treasure, and we highly recommend stopping by whether you're a resident or just passing through!

It's the old Bank of America building, and the drive-thru ATMs are still there, so it's a tad confusing. Right across from the drive-thru ATMs is the entrance and the interior looks just like a bank. Will be interesting to see if they continue a remodel or if this is just a temporary location. Not a lot of books and there's is quite a bit of unused space. Staff is friendly, of course, they're librarians. The nice thing about the library systems is that you can request a book online and pick up/return to your chosen location. So it doesn't really matter that the location is small with a small collection.

This is multiple times that I've gone. There's no parking the other dirt lot parking lot isn't open and they told me to go park along the block when I can only come pick up my book at this time I've had books been returned that I've had been on hold because of this. Also, I've had a book on hold for like I don't even know how long last year in October says that it's active, but I have no updates. I'm getting so tired of this library to the point where like I'm just going to start buying my books.

They assisted me with getting my official library card and went the extra mile in getting me a Cantonese language guide that was not on the shelf or checked out. It took them just 4 minutes to go in the bank and locate it. The library is clean and has a lot of sunlight coming in. They have a good variety of books. The patrons at this location seemed respectful and followed the rules. Loved the little Friends of the Library bookstore to the left upon entry that sells vinyls, DVDs and books to support the library. Love the indoor and outdoor parking. Getting a card is pretty simple....just present proof of residency in the city and you'll have a card.

It was a very busy place, on a hot day, with many, many patrons studying, reading, hanging out. It is one branch of the vast 35-branch Riverside County Public Library system. Ample parking, the parking slips butt up against a thoughtfully designed walkway with signage telling you about the history of Temecula. Once inside the library, there is a beautiful mosaic-mural depicting sea-to-outer space, perhaps a nod to what all is in store for the curious patron. The Children's Area is decorated with dozens of stuffed animals atop the book cases. There are painting on the walls. Lots of visual stimulation. But, if you need some calm, further in the library, there is a whole window wall with comfortable seating overlooking a vast valley. Almost every shelf had an intriguing book on display front facing. Books that my library in San Diego does not own...yet. If it weren't so far from my home, I would get a library card (yes, with a CA id, this is possible, and free), and check out some of those great books.

We've always had such great support and customer service. They have great events, wish I could attend all of them on the events calendar. They also usually have the books that we are looking for and placing holds on books doesn't take very long until we get to borrow them. Books are in good condition but you can also tell when a book is well loved, which doesn't bother me at all.
