There are several inviting reading and learning rooms, plus a dedicated children's section that's perfect for little ones. Outside, there's a small but lovely garden with plenty of seating; ideal for enjoying a book on a nice day. I especially loved discovering the board where anyone can post a book review. It's a great way to engage with fellow readers and get new recommendations. My husband and I make it a point to support local businesses and community resources when we travel; signing up for a library card and following their event calendar is one way we connect with each new place. It's the old Bank of America building, and the drive-thru ATMs are still there, so it's a tad confusing. Right across from the drive-thru ATMs is the entrance and the interior looks just like a bank. Will be interesting to see if they continue a remodel or if this is just a temporary location. Not a lot of books and there's is quite a bit of unused space. Staff is friendly, of course, they're librarians. The nice thing about the library systems is that you can request a book online and pick up/return to your chosen location. So it doesn't really matter that the location is small with a small collection.

Saw a few staff members helping curl hair and even helping with putting hats on. My experience here was nothing short of amazing. It was a bitter sweet moment leaving. I highly recommend starting your schooling journey here. I loved the diversity. Loved all the people I met here from all different ages and backgrounds. The campus is clean and beautiful. I will be sure to start my kids off here at Crafton when their time comes. I'm going to miss all the amazing professors especially Dr. Brink and Dr. Pfahler.

All of the staff are friendly! We try to make it to all the monthly events and participate in as many programs as possible (which are many to choose from). Considering that this library is fairly new (dedicated in August 2020,)I knew I had to stop by for a visit to check it out. Before entering the library, I noticed signage in front that face masks are required to enter the library. Before entering the library, I also noticed chalk art in front of the library's entrance promoting their summer reading program which is currently going on. Upon entering the library, I immediately noticed the self checkout station to the left as well as a library catalog computer to the right of the entrance. The layout of the library is smart in that there's clear signage so the visitor knows where everything is. I liked that there is seating which is separated and private. There is also a standing hand sanitizer dispenser so visitors can clean their hands during their time at the library. I feel it was a smart design choice to have an all genders bathroom versus separated bathrooms for men and women as well as have a water fountain with a water bottle refilling station. After browsing the library shelves, I approached the information desk to obtain a library card. The staff member who assisted me was friendly and efficient. Once the employee confirmed my address, asked for my phone number as well as asking how I want to be notified for library things (text, email, phone,) she quickly created my library card, informed me of my library PIN number and told me to have a nice day. This library is a great addition to Moreno Valley and I can't wait to visit the library again soon to fully utilize the variety of services and resources they offer.

Being a small town this place is vital for children. I never knew a library to be a hang out spot…read moreof children and moms to take a break until I moved here. Because of this, the library is always doing things for children. They offer activities twice a week- a craft corner and a story time (which also includes dancing/singing and a craft) The librarians are super nice and great with kids. Jessica is AMAZING with the little ones and has so much energy and excitement when she's doing her activities. She also puts puppet shows on for the children and special day activities on Saturday once in a while. The library offers fun perks, summer reading programs with prizes, monthly events when you checkout a number of books to receive prizes like Star Wars keychain, tsum tsums, lego people etc. depending on the month they have different ones and they're usually the same theme each year but with different options than the last year. I am glad for this place as it truly gives kids the opportunity to socialize and moms to take a break. Aside from that there is computers to use, a bookstore selling used books for really cheap, weekly silent book auctions, and more! Even if you don't live here, it's always a nice place for visitors to checkout. Tuesday and Thursday especially. NOTE: The library is actually located behind the post office.
