During my layover in Charlotte, I grabbed something quick to eat at Beaudevin. The seating was comfortable. The food was average. The service was pleasant.

Greens and soups portion of the menu for price reference

Thoroughly Impressed! Service was timely, staff were very friendly, food was delicious; thoroughly enjoyed eating here!

My margarita that had floating black specs (you can actually see them in this picture) Gross!

This is located in the airport behind the sushi place. The place was extremely understaffed so it did take a while to get waited on, but the food was good. I had the turkey panini and it was delicious. I liked that it was a quieter spot away from the hustle bustle of the airport but I think they need to get more wait staff. I ordered a margarita and it came with a ton of black floaters in it so I sent it back (not sure of the ice, the glass, or the like was dirty but it gave me the ick). They have an app that allows you to order your food which is a good option but we saw a bunch of people sit and leave after 5 minutes because nobody greeted them or waited on them.

I had high hopes when I came across Beaudevin, especially after a stressful day filled with flight delays -- my expectations were halfway met. Here's the good: their Bloody Mary is very good, very well done. The Artisan Cheese Plate is also good, for the most part (more info. below); and I especially enjoyed the herb goat cheese, aged pecorino, and apricot preserves. Now, on to the bad: though the menu clearly specified that the cheese board includes brie, mine didn't. Also, I don't like blue cheese and can't eat it at all so I requested olives in place of the blue, which I was told would be an easy swap but, sadly, I received the blue cheese after all. As for the service, I wouldn't say it was good and I wouldn't say it was bad; it was simply ok and could certainly be better.

It's not Vino Volo, I'll tell you that. It took forever to get seated, even though I was staring at a few empty tables. Then, you had to use their website to view the menu so it was hard to flip from wines to food to other stuff. Finally, the waiter brought a menu over, but I had to "hurry" (his word) as it was the one from the counter that potential customers can look at. I almost walked out at that point. It IS a peaceful retreat from the rest of the crazy airport noise and traffic. However, the service was lacking and wine selection wasn't all that enticing. The main reason I won't return is the lack of any kind of wine flights. Or maybe they did and I missed them.

If I could give it 3.5 stars I would. I got my sandwich to go and didn't wait long at the bar to get it but when I first walked in 2 different employees just looked at me & didn't ask if I needed help or anything. There's a side entrance that says it's to place carryout orders so that's where I was standing. No one came so I went to the bar area & that's where I placed my order. My order came out quick and my sandwich was delicious but the service is definitely lacking.

My first impression was the WINE sign..I absolutely love wine and thought this may be an intriguing place to try so I did. Overall, I think it was a great choice! Ms Joyce was very nice as a hostess and my server was Patricia, she was great also. So, let's get into it! The ambiance was nice and chill. I even considered looking into the possibilities of a franchise...hmm

Beautiful wine bar / restaurant. The decor pulled me in. Delicious charcuterie boards and wine. Happy I stopped in during my flight layover and delay. The staff was doing their best with all the flight delays today. Can't imagine the pressure but glad I had the waitress I had. So sweet. Kept calling me Darling. too cute. In the midst of chaos, this was a relaxing area to chill for a few in between flights. Little Flies are a problem here. Needs to be looked at by the manager. Had to shoo a few away....

We had a nice charcuterie board and sparkling rose' between planes, and it was nice, not overly crowded which allowed us to chill. It's in the atrium, so it's easily accessible from all gates. Bon appetit!

Located in the CLT Airport, the Beaudevin is a decent option if you have time to kill and are fiending for some vino... The wine selection is the best offering here. Great variety of wines and pours. Definitely not an issue here... During my visit, it appeared that they were understaffed. The servers were covering extensive areas throughout the venue. I was sitting in the outer tables by the entrance and had to wave my server down for refills. She was nice and trying her best. I ordered the turkey panini and it was average. I was keeping my expectations in check as I realize I'm in airport. The turkey portion was minimal but there was plenty of bread. The dish came with a small serving of potato chips. If you're looking to get your wine on, stop on by. If you're feeling pretty hungry, I'd probably check the other options in the airport. Safe Travels!

Right next to all the fast food places in the airport Comfortable seating. Nice place to eat or drink between flights Large bar area with good wine and cocktails. Upscale feel but comfortable I got the tomato soup and grilled cheese Very tasty and delicious Helpful service and quick Not a big menu but enough for various things

This was the $6 grilled chicken add-on to the salad.

Do not go here if you have to catch a connecting flight, or if you want reasonable service or warm, good tasting food. This was one of the slowest airport restaurants I have ever been to. The poor bartender was nice and clearly trying, but he was the only person working until an apathetic manager showed up. It took over ONE hour to get food, which is terrible at an airport restaurant. This was for a green salad with grilled chicken, and a soup-sandwich combo. The chicken was a $6 add on for a few strips of dried, flavorless cold chicken. The tomato soup tasted like canned, bland tomato soup. The grilled cheese was all bread and cold cheese. The manager did write off one entree as an apology for the wait, which was appreciated (and the reason for 2 stars instead of one), but still a negative experience not worth the price or anxiety of slow service between connecting flights. I expected quiet, high quality and efficient service like Vino Bolo, but this was definitely not that. When in CLT airport, I will definitely steer clear of this one.

Beaudevin means beautiful wine! This place was the winner of the best new airport bar. Offering wine, sandwiches and small plates. I ordered the Salumeria panini cured meats salted Italian with an olive spread. This was very flavorful and savory. The tomatoe basil soup has just enough tanginess to compliment the sweet basil seas Our server, Simon was great. A great option to chains in the airport.

We waited way too long. The 1 line for drinks being made by 1 server took extremely long. Although the music was great bring played by the live dj, it did not take away the frustration. No one should have to chase for service that the establishment is known for. No one should have to wait on a extremely long line just to receive a drink at a hookah lounge. This is not a club by any means. Even if you have an event, the establishment should plan much better for the crowd by make it a more efficient and effective experience. The transition was horrible.

I have been here a bunch but it's been a while and I decided the restaurant week deal was too good to pass up. The value for money is probably the best out of all restaurants participating. Everything we had to eat was phenomenal (meat and cheese, patatas bravas, croquettes, flank steak, cheesecake). Mainly writing this review because of the service - I joked with the sommelier (?) that you'd never know this is technically a "chain" because the experience is so intimate and feels local. Our hostess (so sorry can't remember her name) checked us in and let us grab a drink at the bar as we were early to our reservation. When my boyfriend went over to ask about the potential for getting a booth, because we're both very tall, she remembered his name and made it happen. Our server, Nick, was the best. So attentive without being too much, and timed each course perfectly so we weren't overwhelmed with food nor waiting around for the next dishes. Our sommelier (I think that's what it is) was also a delight to have around. The manager came over when we first got seated to give us water for the table, and I really appreciated seeing that as opposed to someone overseeing in the background. It's so nice to see a restaurant function efficiently without sacrificing personality and experience.

While I take full responsibility for arriving 15 minutes late, I was shocked at how rudely the hostess--who we later learned was the manager--handled the situation. Rather than a simple acknowledgment of the delay, or improbability of getting a table, she made a point to shame us, emphasizing that accommodating us would be an extra burden for her. This set an uncomfortable tone from the start. When she begrudgingly seated us at a table that had somehow magically become available, she made another unnecessary comment, implying that I should do my part to not make her job so difficult again. My partner was immediately put off and suggested we leave, but I decided to give the restaurant another chance, assuming the manager might just be having a rough night. Unfortunately, things did not improve. The food, best described as uninspired frozen bar fare from the main Duckworth's kitchen, took over 30 minutes to arrive--and even then, it was served before our drinks. When the drinks finally did arrive, they were nothing exceptional. I ordered a French 75, and my partner had a Paloma, only to realize that even the drinks had come from downstairs at Duckworth's. Given the restaurant's supposed reputation, I was surprised that it didn't have its own bar, unlike how things are set up at The Cellar. The only redeeming aspect of our visit was our waitress, who was pleasant and professional. However, what puzzled us the most was that despite the manager's initial reluctance to seat us, nearly half of the restaurant remained empty throughout the evening. With at least three or four servers working in a relatively small space, it was clear that staffing wasn't the issue--so why the hostility? It was hard not to wonder if other potential diners had been similarly turned off by the manager's deplorable attitude and the underwhelming menu. Overall, the experience left a bad taste in our mouths--both literally and figuratively. Between the lackluster food and drinks, and the uncalled-for attitude from management (she is bald and was wearing a dress on the evening of 2/14/25 at 9:30PM-11PM), I cannot recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant dining experience.

Restaurant is at the end of a strip mall and has a nice size outdoor patio. My wife and I were on a dinner date and we were sat inside which is tastefully designed. We started out with drinks; she got Pinot noir and I ordered a BS Rewind. We were debating between several appetizers and decided to go with the mussels with bread in white wine sauce. There was a generous portion of mussels and sauce. As an added bonus we got to mussel shell "Tetris" in the bowl with the discarded shells. The main courses had a significant variance in pricing from $20 to $40. My wife ordered the short rib sliders ($21) at the suggestion of our server and I ordered the cod with jalapeño corn ($38) which was also suggested by our server. Both meals were well prepared and looked quite appetizing. We also ordered fries to round out the meal. My cod tasted great and paired well with the sweet and spiciness of the corn. The fish was crispy on the outside and white and flaky on the inside. The cod had some kind of glaze on it that added to the flavor. My wife enjoyed the short rib sliders. I tried one of the three sliders and I was surprised that they were short ribs. Nonetheless they tasted good. My cod looked tasty but was definitely not the portion size I expected for the price. After I finished my meal, I ate most of the fries and helped my wife finish her sliders. It was a great meal and my only beef (no pun intended) was the portion size of the cod. For the portion size, I think the price should have been closer to that of the sliders- $21 or maybe split the difference. I asked our server about the portion size before I ordered and he said it was plenty which was not the case. I might suggest offering 2 portion sizes for the cod so there is a gauge of what to expect when ordering. Great meal and I recommend AP for anyone looking for great food on short notice in NoDa. Cheers!

We sat in a booth near the bar inside facing the tv that had a great football game. The restaurant is bright and welcoming and the service was outstanding! Our server had great knowledge of the menu and shared the most popular and her favorites to help us decide on food. Signed up for Postino Pass and got a free Bruschetta board with 4 varieties: Salmon pesto, bacon burrata, buffalo cauliflower, and Mexican street corn. This was a great and flavorful start to our outing. My wife was drinking wine ($6 glass for happy hour) and I had an excelsior cider. After joining the clean plate club with the bruschetta, we ordered the Chef's Charcuterie for our second and final course. It had crispy crackers and toast. It had cured meat, olives, feta whip, hummus, artichoke, spicy almond and cheese. Everything made a good mix of tastes and flavors and it was plenty to share for 2 people. To top it off, I asked about a Veteran's discount when I was getting ready to pay the bill and our server went to ask her manager and she came back and said they don't have a discount but gave me a discount anyway! I can honestly say that is the FIRST time in my life that someone has created a Veteran discount that didn't exist. I highly recommend anyone in the Ballantyne area to visit Postino's and enjoy a great meal, in a welcoming environment, with very hospitable servers. The food is over the moon delicious with plenty of options and reasonable serving sizes. Even with the slightly high price point, it is well worth every penny. And they take allergies SO seriously! Literally went through a bunch of ingredients to find what would and wouldn't be dairy-allergy safe. Atmosphere is fun but cozy, too. 100% recommend! In-depth: Postino has quickly become one of my favorite places in the CLT area after my 10/10 experience here. To start, the food. My word, it's amazing! Everything my friend and I tried was delicious. The bruschetta is 100% worth trying (the spinach artichoke one is my favorite), and the west coaster panini + romaine salad was tasty at every bite. Their wine is also good quality, with a decent-sized portion poured. Allergy safety is a major thing for them, too. Our server (Lee = the best waitress!) and her manager looked through their bread and ingredients for about 30 minutes to confirm what was and wasn't dairy safe (I asked how dairy allergies are handled for when I bring my husband next time). They also had quite a few gluten-free options, too. The manager explained that she wants people to be able to just come in and relax for a few hours without worrying if they'll get sick, which I truly, truly appreciate. Lee shared a similar sentiment, which was amazing. Now price... Yes, it is a *bit* pricey, but it is well worth it. Nothing felt lacking as far as flavor goes, and the allergy safety is a huge thing. This is one of the few places I felt my sandwich and salad were worth every penny, even if it was $17. Also, their rewards program is great. I got a free bruschetta board, and they offer several other perks. Make sure to sign up before or while dining there to get some good deals! In addition to their sincere care for allergy safety, the service is fantastic all around. They do group service, meaning you'll have several servers, and they encourage you to grab anyone if you have questions. This takes the pressure off of waiting for one server to walk by and really helped me relax. And the atmosphere? I could stay there all day! It's a really fun vibe, but the lighting and seating are very cozy. Overall, I've already recommended this place to 5+ people and will be returning soon
