While I'm more of a beer than a wine guy, I still really enjoy wine bars, and in all of Charlotte, Vin Master might be my favorite one! First off their location is great, tucked away on the backside of Atherton Mill. They are located right along the rail trail near plenty of great shopping so it is a perfect place to stop and grab a glass of wine after a busy day and allows for great people watching. They tend to focus on smaller boutique wines from all around the world, and they also sell wine at retail so it's a good place to go pick up a unique bottle instead of getting the usual from the grocery store. Their employees are knowledgeable and friendly, so if you are like me and have minimal wine knowledge, they are very helpful with recommending wines and offerings tastes. The inside is small and cozy, giving an intimate laid back feel, but on a nice evening I prefer to sit outside on the patio which makes you feel like you're smack dab in the middle of southend. They don't serve food, but they are located right by a bunch of good restaurants, so they are a great place for pre dinner drinks, or a nice night cap after your meal. Overall this is a charming wine bar that checks all the boxes, and is one that I highly recommend!

Great outdoor seating and service! Right off rail trail not far from East/West Light Rail station or parking at Atherton Mill

We had a couple glasses of wine in this spot on a weeknight. The service was attentive. I wish there was more knowledge of the wines by the servers though. That would elevate this spot to 5 stars. Note that it was a little loud inside. Otherwise, the lighting was conducive to enjoying yourself.

We stumbled in here by chance and left newfound fans. This is the perfect place for grabbing a drink before dinner. I'm usually a Chardonnay drinker or a Lambrusco, but I stepped outside the box and asked for recommendations for their Cabernet. Fell in love with sweet, gentle spice of the Pavelle. Park at the Atherton and walk over. Such a cute and cozy spot! Update: we went back last night, and they had a special going on with a spinach artichoke flatbread with chicken. It was *chef's kiss.* I hope this flatbread becomes a permanent item. We ended up buying two bottles of wine last night. This spot is a staple!

Lovely pit stop while exploring the Rail Trail on the Southend of Charlotte. Interestingly enough we stopped in on a Saturday while the farmers market was taking place outside. I loved the wide open space on both the inside and outside patio. The little aesthetic additions added to the ambiance of a real life train station. The wine selection had a bunch of great selection from different price point. I usually go for the heavy Reds, but there's a lot of variety. For the beer drinkers that's also an option. I walked out with around 7 bottles of wine and some sours from the beer selection. Great time chatting with the staff. Looking forward to returning.

Vin master is so cute, it's small and cozy. Perfect spot for a date night or girls night! The seating is limited so you may have a tough time finding a place to sit. There's plenty of parking around Atherton Mill but if you can, I would advise you walk or light rail. The east/west station is right nearby. They have food, although I haven't tried it. The cheese board looked good though. This place is better if you eat before or have a dinner reservation elsewhere and want to grab a drink close by.

Love this place! Always had drink deals- I think Wednesday is half off glasses of wine. The goat cheese flatbread is amazing! Highly recommend this for a casual wine night. You can also sit outside!

A hidden gem in Southend. Grab a bottle of wine and chill out. This place is not crowded and is all about finding well priced good wine to enjoy with friends. I liked the selection of wines, rather than relying on the well-known staples, this place has a variety of more eclectic choices. It makes discovering a new everyday wine or dinner wine more fun. On some nights they have live music too.

Vin Master is an absolute gem for winos near and far. If you're looking for a chill spot to enjoy a glass of wine anytime, Vin Master is the place. It's a small space that's tucked in the back corner of Atherton Mill. There is also small patio area in front. Once you walk in, you are met with a few bar tables, various wine/alcohol decorations, and a bar in the back. They have daily specials, on Fridays, it's $5 glasses of pinot noir or pinot grigio. Lined on the walls, they have bottles broken down by flavor profile such as juicy, creamy, smoky, etc. That alone makes me want to go back to make sure I try at least one bottle of each! I went on a recent Friday night a little after 8 p.m. and it wasn't crowded. It was the perfect spot for a nightcap. There was light music playing in the background but nothing obnoxious so as you couldn't hear the people at your table. I loved the ambience and will be sure to return!

I visited this wine bar as part of my trip to Charlotte with my girlfriends. LOVED it. The service was wonderful. I appreciate her kindness and patient with me as a novice wine drinker. This location was fun and if I was on the dating scene this would be a go-to venue. It is grown sexy and very modern with a beautiful mix of an old Italian winery feel. We had several flights of wine with great sandwiches. This is a short review because my fellow Yelpers mentioned the centralized location, the convenient street parking, the inside and outside seating options, the great selection of wine and eats, the discounts for purchasing case lots and the happy hour specials. Come and enjoy this funky, fresh, clean and wonderful wine spot. Support the local owner and promote her efforts to offer foodie worthy options for snacks. You will enjoy everything.

The flat rosé. Large pours here!

This place is perfect. Incredibly friendly bartenders (Amy, you're the best!), huge wine pours, affordable prices, and adorable atmosphere both inside and outside on the patio. I'm sold!

Recently, my husband and I ordered the olive dish to start and I was shocked it came out cold. The quality of this dish could greatly be improved by warming them up. The wine selections and cocktails were top notch. We enjoyed both a cocktail and a glass of wine. Both were equally amazing. I love that the vibe is log cabin-esk, and I think the wait staff are very accommodating to everyone enjoying their downtime here. The seating is very strategically placed so they have lots of options but you don't feel crowded. I've been impressed with the cleanliness of the dining area and bathrooms while eating here. Parking isn't that hard either. If you are looking for a nice easy afternoon where you're allowed to decompress with an amazing glass or bottle of tour favorite wine (or even a new one you have ever tried before), I cannot speak highly enough of Foxcroft. Side note, while you can bring kids as I have brought mine in the past visits, I don't recommend it. The food for picky kids can be limiting and it's not a great vibe if the kiddos get bored and antsy and rush you through your downtime journey. I hope everyone enjoys as much as I did!

We enjoyed these with a bottle of red blend wine. Their selection of wine is amazing. The brussels sprouts and the sliders were excellent. Everyone of our table asked to sample our brussels sprouts. The roasted oysters were just okay, but I'm sure it's just personal taste. I so wish that we would've gotten the shrimp cocktail in its place. I almost never eat donuts, but we ordered the signature donuts since it was his birthday. They were served with a chocolate sauce and a Morello cherry curd. They were just perfect without anything also. The service was excellent. Our waitress was attentive and the water pitchers were refilled in a timely manner. Foxcroft food and wine is kept very clean. The noise level was low, so that conversations could take place even during the busiest time of the day.

I got the Burrata starter and Creste di Gallo, the pesto cream sauce was delicious. She was extremely sweet, attentive, and super knowledgeable about the menu and gave us some really great recommendations. For drinks I ordered a NA rose. It had a bit of a dryer taste than I would have preferred as I'm more of a sweet drinker, but not bad. My friend ordered the Blackberry Sage and Soda and really enjoyed it. For an appetizer, we ordered the burrata. If you enjoy tomatoes, pesto, cheese, and bread, just get it, you won't regret it! It was very flavorful! We almost considered ordering a second helping! For the entree, I ordered the Atlantic Salmon with a side of broccolini. It was the best broccolini I think I've ever had! It was seasoned very well and had a smokey taste from the charring. My friend ordered the Creste Di Gato and really enjoyed it and the broccolini as well! For dessert, I ordered the sticky toffee cake and it was MAGNIFICENT! It was brought out warm and the flavor combinations were just so good! Right now, I'm planning to make room for it every time I come back and I most definitely will come back lol. 10/10 experience! Would recommend!

The bar was a big attraction, they also had great outdoor seating in the front and a really nice patio off to the back . Inside seating also nice. Big red couches were super cool ! The menu is awesome ! So many cocktails and ones I can't find in a lot of bars that I love . Brownie points for that! The food menu is great too, small plates and larger and nice bar food not your usual greasy fare. More Mediterranean vibe on the food. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were cool and laid back and engaging without being overly so. We had the Bijou and the vieux carre cocktails which I find hard to find in most really good bars. Here they were and made really well too. I know they require ingredients not all bars carry or can get in NC. We also had the Naan app which comes with tzatziki and the naan had a nice layer of zaatar spice on it . Went well with out drinks. I loved the Bijou . Such a good spirit forward drink. The bartender gave us a complementary shot of a bijou based drink. Had a little cinnamon to it but was good ! Nice touch as we were leaving ! We had a great time here before our next spot. Unfortunately, this latest menu feels like a big step back. So many longtime staples are gone: no fries, no Brussels, no burrata, no flatbreads, and even the steak has disappeared from the mains. What's left feels repetitive, with multiple dishes centered around the same basmati rice and salad combination. We also tried the two new "for the table" additions, and neither felt worth the price. The "caviar" is simply roe at $25, and the deviled eggs with roe at $17 were underwhelming. Unless some of the old favorites return or there's more variety added, I don't see myself coming back anytime soon, aside from maybe Flight Night.
