The meal was fantastic. We had a 3 course meal for $88. The food was filling and flavourful. The restaurant had several tables that were extremely rowdy which was a bit disappointing. The food at times took a while to come out.

We were up at Whistler for a 3 night getaway towards the end of June before the busier summer season. Quite a few high end restaurants were having a 3 course Spring special menu and we picked Bearfoot for its $45 menu. The first course was either a beet/carrot salad or grilled octopus appy--small portion but made well. The main course we had cornish game hen(half) with the breast sous vide then torched while the leg was filled with sausage stuffing-- chefs skill really came through, beautiful plating and quite tasty. My hubby had lamb ragout pasta, it was a generous portion and not greasy with all the cheese on top. The 2 desserts are equally impressive, apparently there is a pastry chef in house. The ambiance is casual yet elegant, waitstaff are all knowledgeable on their food served, unpretentious and did not try to upsell on the liquor. All the servers came around to do some small talk, fill water constantly...impressed! This was a good intro for their food and we certainly will visit again!

Yummy! This was my favorite meal in the village. The ambiance in this space is incredible. It was a little challenging to find the restaurant in the Listel Hotel, mid village. Once there, however, they sat us at a beautiful table and we started out with the charity basket of bread, made in house. We loved the bread and had to hold back to save room for the main course. The spot prawn and scallop salad was as tasty as it was beautiful. The lobster was also uniquely presented and amazing. Both the strawberry shortcake and the chocolate raspberry dessert were incredible. We had no leftovers after this meal and all agreed it was our favorite new spot.

We came in the restaurant and the restaurant was empty, maybe we are Asian they put us at the very corner small table. When we finished and paid the restaurant was still empty with tons of seats, I have no idea why they gave us such a small table when the restaurant is empty. Food was little but enough for a girl, not enough for a guy though; however, I didn't felt like I wanted to get more food here.

Oh. My. Gosh. Everything we had here was outstanding! My husband & I were so glad we did the tasting menu. It allowed us to really try so many things. I love that the restaurant features art on the walls that you can actually buy. The front of house & waitstaff were both outstanding. We told everyone we could about this meal as it was our favorite during our week stay in Whistler.

Pricy but good for a special occasion! We visited Bearfoot Bistro on a Saturday night, with a reservation made well in advance for our large party. The vibe was classy, with elegant but subtle decor. We were seated next to the kitchen, so it was really cool to watch the food be prepared. They had an entire section of mocktails on the drink menu, and I chose one with apple/pear, that I can't find the name of now. I absolutely loved it though! It was surprisingly thick in consistency, and the flavors were so well balanced. My boyfriend also loved the Papa Berry, which was more simple and refreshing. For food, my boyfriend and I decided to share a bunch of appetizers instead of getting an entree. This worked out alright, but I wouldn't recommend it if you're hungry, because portion sizes were very small. The East & West Coast Oysters were very good, and came with a great mignonette. Our first appetizer was the Ahi & Albacore Tuna Crudo, which was fresh but not very substantial. I loved the fish, but the white styrofoam-looking crackers were flavorless. Next, we tried the Québec Foie Gras Duo. The presentation of the Marcona almond praline "magnum" was really creative, but we both liked the other Foie Gras more. Finally, we got the Braised Oxtail Tortellini, which was easily the best part of the meal. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the flavor combination was incredible. My friends loved their entrees, including the Lumina Lamb Rack "Navarin" and PEI Beef Ribeye. Service was helpful and professional, but this was far from a quick meal. Overall, a tasty dinner, but not the most value for the price tag!

The service is great and this is the best restaurant we found in the village... The lighting and decor of this restaurant make us feel comfortable and relax. The food is delicious....Next time when we stop by, we will definitely come back again. The Grey Goose ice room is also inside at the Bearfood Bistro. The staff told us this ice room is maintained at an icy -32°C (-25°F), features walls, bars, and shelves all crafted from crystal-clear ice, with vodka bottles nestled in their nooks. It was a great experience to us.

The place has nice ambiance but it's overpriced I didn't like the texture of the duck confit or the taste, but the sauce was good. The oysters were also good.

I normally wouldn't leave this review, but they have a really great breakfast buffet! Drinks included coffee, milk, juice, and pressed cold juices. They have your usual breads and pastries, but notable things include the yogurt bar, quality of the fruit, the omelette / egg station, and the changing hot dishes (waffles, pancakes, frittatas, seasoned hash browns, etc). Service is very friendly and attentive despite most people getting the buffet. It was a really pleasant breakfast and also incredibly convenient if you're staying at the Westin and trying to hit the slopes early! Note: the line can be longer around 7:30-8am, especially on peak days.

Interestingly enough, nobody used the outdoor patio which provides a great view of the mountain. Maybe it's only open in the evenings. Came here to try their brunch. Was told it was expensive but worth it. The food was tasty. All the fruits and vegetables were fresh. The eggs Benedict were crisp. Bacon and sausages weren't too greasy which was nice. They also make custom omelettes but I didn't try. Special mention to their blueberry pancakes. For those who don't do the buffet, they do have regular food options. However, the options can quickly surpass the buffet price if one wants to try multiple items. Also, we were told the "served" items are less customized and fancy. In other words, just do the buffet. Though my wallet hurt, my friends and I left happy and stuffed. I'd eat here again. Recommended.

They have some bar-height tables made out of some barrels - I would not sit here. Service Quality: Staff was attentive and knew the menu well. They recommend getting a wide variety of dishes since it is tapas. Menu Variety: Great selection of spanish tapas. There's fish, meat, seafood, veggies - there is something for everyone. You won't find the lesser known tapas here - just the main popular ones we all know. Food Presentation: Simple, nothing crazy here. Plated with intention. Food Taste and Quality: Food came to the table hot and fresh out of the kitchen. Some of the patatas bravas were a bit undercooked - for me there was a bit too much sauce here. They also have the shishito peppers here - even though 1 out of 10 are spicy, it was more like 5 out of 10 were spicy. Luckily they were all grilled to perfection. The cod fritters were great, would order again. Portion Sizes: You'll need to order at least 5 dishes for a table of 2. Drink Selection: Simple cocktail menu with a spanish twist to them - if you really want to call it a "spanish cocktail". Price and Value: Good value for money, priced just right. Overall Experience and Recommendation: Make sure you make a reservation cause if not you'll be waiting and by the time you look for another restaurant for dinner - everything will be closed (cause its Bowen Island). I tried it, I would try the other restaurants on the island first before coming back.

Spanish tapas style, we ordered about 6 dishes and bread and we were pretty full. Also sangria. Food was fantastic, everything we ordered had so much flavor, my favourite was the orzo salad and the shrimp. A little surprise that Bowen Island had this little gem. Due to Covid protocols only patio was open, which worked fine for us, also set up socially distance. Great service. Recommend you making reservation, we didn't but came right when they opened lucked out with a table. It got pretty busy 15 minutes after we arrived. Overall, I was very impressed. We will be back!
