This place was amazing, the beers on the tap list were good, my favorite was the Old Village Pub Ale. They were mostly all pretty good, I was shocked that the Black IPA was good because I don't like IPAs but the beer called "Big Dinner a beer" was not good at all. I like the Bearded Lamb. Their beer is good, the bar staff is nice, and the ambiance is pleasant. Parking can be a bit annoying because of where it's located, and it's fairly small downstairs and sometimes the upstairs is not open or has a private event going on. They'd get five stars if they'd keep the tap list on the website up to date or posted their current menu to Untappd. I like to know what a place has on tap before I venture over, and last few times the website was not accurate. read more

I have only been to bearded lamb once and I enjoyed my visit. I was impressed with the beer and the service was good. The only disappointing part of the visit was the shirt that I bought from there. After one time through the was the thread started unraveling on the seams for one of the sleeves. I will definitely stop in again the next time I am around Plymouth. read more

We recently moved from Chicago, IL, which is home to more craft top notch beer selections than anywhere else I have been. Michigan is an adjustment to that lifestyle we've lived for the past 5 years, but Bearded Lamb serves really well-crafted brews. We love the vibe and people. We love this place! Because we're within walking distance, we're here all the time (usually 2+ times per week). I'm not a beer drinker but I LOVE their cherry and blueberry ciders they have on tap from neighboring Northville Winery. My husband has enjoyed all their beers, but especially Soul Geometry. The staff are always friendly and they often have delicious food trucks out back. We've not been for Trivia on Tuesday's yet, but that's an option if you're looking for something fun to do. 10/10 we love this place! read more

I liked this when it was it's past incarnation, and like it even more now. They have beer, ciders, wine, and if you catch them at the right time, hard seltzers. The vibe is nice and laid back and I've never had anything other than a great experience here. I do wish their patio was a touch bigger, because I'm a sucker for a patio beer. But their inside area is lovely that even when the outside seats are taken, there's nothing wrong with sitting inside. I was super excited to come back here! We were here as Liberty Street was leaving. We wanted those tags before they retired. But I was super curious as to how things may have changed. Honestly, it looked the same. Regardless we loved the vibe before and definitely loved it now as well! We sat up at the bar and perused the beer choices. This was our last stop for the night (even though our intention was to get me to supernatural brewery and we never made it). I was full of beer and feeling sleepy. The ambiance is beautiful inside this small pub, and the beers on tap were delightful with a variety of different options. Unfortunately we were served by this taller gentleman with a big beard who was bartending and it was an awful experience. Although our interactions were minimal, he was short with us and almost made it feel like us ordering with him was a bother. There wasn't a line out behind us yet it was very rushed. Additionally we came here for an event (we made it clear we were here for) which warranted a discount on a pint which he didn't give us. It was only after the fact we found out and it wasn't worth the trouble. Great beer and thank you for keeping a brewery in Western Wayne county. They brew a great Stout, Bofis and have a good line up.

Bearded Lamb serves a litany of different beers with so many seasonal selections. They have rotating food trucks. You're able to order you drinks and either bring in food or order from the food truck. They have a smaller main floor, a larger dining area upstairs, and a quaint patio out back. There is also a ramp in back for accessibility. Their brews range from dark and bold stout to light and sweet cider. A current seasonal offering is a ghost pepper blood orange cider. So unique! I wasn't brave enough for that and ordered a dubbel. They also have events like trivia and participate graciously in a lot of community events in Old Village. They're an awesome addition to the neighborhood! read more

This is the old Liberty St Brewing company with new owners I assume. 1st piece of advice is for the owner to claim this business and act like you're in it to win it. Also put a sign out front. You got tshirts and logo glasses but you can't put a sign out front? Nice location in an old brick building like you like your brew pubs to do. Negatives are a short beer menu and the bartender was not friendly at all seemed like she did not to be there. Stunning indifference bordering on rude. I'll give this place another try but I'm not betting on the new ownership because I sensed a lack of passion. My hazy IPA was quite good but not special. read more

My brother and sister-in-law reserved the second floor of Bearded Lamb Brewing for their rehearsal dinner, and it was a great experience! It's got a great pub vibe. We had our own personal bartender for the group who was so friendly and did a great job. The beer was great, and they had a selection of board games available to play too which is so fun. This was formerly Liberty brewery and although it's been rebranded to Bearded Lamb, they have maintained the same nostalgic vibes I've come to love from Old Plymouth. When you walk in, it feels like a proper pub. Quaint, dark tones throughout, old fashion taps, and a friendly staff. Unlike the old pubs, they have something for everyone. If I'm not mistaken all drinks on their menu are made in house. They have a dedicated beer selection focused on IPAs, stouts, and ambers. Outside of the beer listing, they have an extensive section of ciders (mango habanero anyone?) and wine. Went here thinking Bearded Lamb was a new brewery. Quickly realized it's the same bad brewery formerly known as Liberty St. Rebranded that is all. Very disappointing. Beer is similar to Atwater, Arbor etc. Just not good. Beers were $5 though that's a steal these days. read more

We've always loved popping into the Lamb for a pint! We decided to rent out the upstairs for our daughter's graduation party. Alison was so helpful in the booking process and had timely responses for all of our questions. The day of the event, we were able to get in early to set up decorations and the food. Lulu took great care of us and our guests, she really went over and above to ensure a great time was had by all. We had so many compliments on the venue and service! Admittedly I was very hesitant when I heard that the former Liberty Street was being sold to new owners since it was special to my husband and me. I am beyond happy to report that Bearded Lamb has not only proven to have great beers, but the atmosphere and charm is there, in even greater amounts. Ryan, Alison, and all have definitely gone out of their way to maintain the welcome neighborhood vibe while also putting their own spin on it and making the brewery their own. It is hands down one of our fave spots to go for a good brew or cider any night of the week! read more
