It's quaint and small inside, but not uncomfortably so. You can either sit by a cozy, lit fireplace, or by a window. The staff here is always friendly and welcoming. I had a wonderful haddock dish in sauce with a vegetable melange that I couldn't finish it was so good but huge. The location reminds me of an old New England club, great atmosphere. The beer selection was expansive, and best of all included a large selection of local and New England brews. Heck, we have about the best brews in the country, might as well show them off. Service was also superb. The attendants at the lunch knew their business, their ettiquette, and their offerings. I walked around the spacious and well curated historic building taking it all in.
