Nice workers. Their salami melts is so good, not a fan of pickles but I like the taste of it in their sandwich.

I walked into Big Trees Market at 6:50 PM last night (3/31) to grab a few quick items. There were…read morestill multiple customers shopping--completely normal. At 7:01, an announcement came on saying the store had been closed for one minute and to head to the register. Totally fair. I needed one more thing from produce so I hurried- another announcement at 7:02 said to "stop shopping- we are closed" I grabbed my last item and went up front. By 7:03, I was already being checked out. And yet the reaction from staff was... unbelievable. There were several employees standing at the front just staring at me--clearly irritated, like I'd personally ruined their evening. It was three minutes past closing. Not 30. Not 15. Three. Then it somehow got worse. They were out of bags (understandable), so I asked if I could use the hand basket to carry my items to my car, which was literally parked right in front of the doors to the store. I was told no, "these baskets cant leave the store"--and that I needed to go outside and get a cart instead. So I had to run out, grab a cart, and come back in... while the entire staff stood there watching me. There must have been 6 or 7 employees glaring at me with dirty looks like I had insulted them personally. The older checker was grumpy and rude, but honestly the whole team contributed to making the experience feel hostile and unwelcoming. I completely understand wanting to close on time. But if ringing someone up at 7:03 feels like a crisis to your staff, that's a management issue--not a customer problem. Also- why not sell reusable bags if you run out of bags so often? I would have bought one to make it faster for me to exit the store. Seems like a simple solution to avoid the extreme stress your staff is experiencing

The cold springs market has always been a favorite stop before going into the wilderness but…read morerecently there are always rude young cashiers who seem bothered by customers, raised prices, and angry locals either migrating from Mia's or the Pinecrest resort to stare you down and act entitled. I'll make sure I don't to stop here again because I'd rather not have it ruin a good day. You're better off saving your money and planning a trip to avoid this store.

I was super excited to see that they offer hot food so it was a huge disappointment to order a cheeseburger and later realize that they undercooked it without letting me know in advance or giving me an option for them to cook it longer. Not everyone likes pink or in my case extremely pink barely cooked hamburger. I could have handled a little pink (even if I don't prefer it), but my burger ended up getting thrown away after 2 bites because I was grossed out how undercooked it was, and I didn't have a way to finish cooking it myself. I understand that it takes a while to cook everyone's food and I was more than willing to wait so I don't understand why the staff felt the need to rush and feed undercooked meat to customers. I definitely won't order a burger from there again because I don't feel that the customer should have to tell a business what proper cooked hamburger meat is, and they also have no warnings anywhere that their meat is undercooked. If they even read these reviews, according to Google, "consuming undercooked ground beef can harbor bacteria like E. coli, Salmonella, and Campylobacter, which can cause foodborne illnesses (food poisoning)." Hopefully whoever has their food handling license and is cooking the food understands the risks they are putting their customers through.

I have been in here to buy stuff. I have been in here to use the restroom. I've never been treated differently. I've always been treated very kind and nice. I'm able to come in here and buy snacks and all the pricing is pretty good. They do have everything that every Safeway has which is really nice. You know what to expect you can get vegetables you can get meat. You can get all kinds of things and just because this is the only Safeway or grocery store in the area they don't have their prices raised in a super huge bracket which a lot of stores would do just because they're the only one in the neighborhood

I called at 6pm and they said the tires arrived and been waiting for me but now it's 6 and they need reschedule for tomorrow. Not a problem at this point but they seem very unorganized... I get it. I worked retail for a long time so I understand things happen. The following day I come in for appointment and they said the tires are here but the paper was send to Carson city... just waiting for the manager to override this so we can help you.... I waited 1 hour and still no help... the older man said the manager knows but it busy. I waited another 30 minutes and still no answer.... I looked for the manager in the store and found her! I reminded her that the nice older man was waiting for her approval and there a line in the tire center- She was rude! She said it's not her priority and she'll get there when she does.... I told her he's been waiting for awhile and I said thank you my appointment was over an hour ago .... She was rude Again and said move out of the costumer service line. No " I'm sorry and I will help" no please set out of the line and I will get to you soon". Nothing! Just rude, nasty , older big woman barking orders . Shame !!! This lady needs to learn to desolate herself and the situation. She needs training on customer service. In my opinion she's too old and grumpy to be working anyway.
