I have dropped 35 pounds and feel I have so much more energy! Just such a better mental state too. Thanks Lori & Kyle for a first rate addition to Milford!

Agree with the recent reviews, pool set up has very limited range. Seems the instructors/…read moremanagement focus is just to get the child stick on same level as long as possible. They do not correct the kids during class rather just call out their weakness post the class which seems pointless for kids at that age. They stress on the fact parents learn the skills by watching/listening the instructor during class and then teach your child yourself during family swim. Definitely over-pricey. Feel being taken for granted and being used to the advantage there are not many swim schools around in area. Make up class process is so mundane and inconvenient.

If you miss a few lessons and have to make them up but cancel because you don't want to keep paying for more lessons they only give you 30 days to make up. The worst part is you can only schedule make up sessions weekly by calling in to check availability. But they never answer! And they won't schedule you in person. So I am basically robbed 100s of dollars because I won't have enough time to make them all up.

The class sizes are small, and the teachers quickly learn all of the kids names and personalities. They have really taken an interest in making sure that the swimmers are comfortable. Teachers are friendly and make the lessons fun for kids! The issue I have are the following: 1. The teacher / pool manager doesn't pay attention to each student's progress. If you don't voice your concern, your child will likely stay at the same level for an extensive period. I'd suggest a real progress check/test every month for each kid to see if the individual is ready to move to the next level. 2. The front office is often rude. There is a lady who normally works on Sun, you get the feeling that she didn't want to be there... Her answers often ended with "I cannot help you" or "I cannot predict the future". We have decided to call for help during the week to seek help in order to avoid the lack of customer service... These are not major issues and should be an easy fix! I will start looking at other swim lesson facilities if no improvements made in the coming month. I have changed my review from 3 to 4 star as it has clearly improved on issue #1 since my review! Thanks for making the needed improvement!

When I raised concerns, I felt I was treated rudely and aggressively rather than listened to and respected. Instructors change frequently, which affects consistency and makes it difficult for kids to properly learn, there seems to be more emphasis on keeping students at the same level than on actively helping them progress, which has left me questioning whether the focus is more on revenue than student development. Based on our experience, I would strongly advise families to consider other options before signing up.

The bad, cancelling your lessons is a total pain, you MUST cancel in person "because there is paperwork". Also when they call off a lesson, they just give you an extra one, but it does not act as a credit to your next set of lessons, just a makeup outside of your regular weekly scheduled lessons. For us this meant when we were completely finished with the school we had over a months worth of weekly lessons left on the table.

Amy contacted me personally soon after I had applied for the scholarship & got me enrolled & ready to go. Our first time there we were greeted with smiles & our goodie bags. The place is very clean & kid friendly. All the staff is very kind. Everyone I encountered there was good with the kids, cared about the kids & seemed to love their job. Ryanne kept a good eye on my middle child as he is extremely ornery & squirmy. She was awesome with my kids! I can't say enough about Amy, she's a wonderful lady! She interacts with everyone & calls the kids by their names. She walks the edge of the pool checking on everyone & all the things, during lessons. She talked to my boys after every lesson & even teared up on our last one. She gave my boys big hugs telling them she hopes to see them soon. The scholarship that they offer is such a blessing. We wouldn't have been able to afford lessons other wise. My middle child has nearly drowned twice, and now after his lessons I feel he could make his way out of a pool on his own if need be. I highly recommend Goldfish of Dayton!! These lessons are core memories for my kids for life!! 4/30/24
