I'm always hesitant to get attached to a class because they often switch them around to accommodate new classes. The class sizes are small, and the teachers quickly learn all of the kids names and personalities. They have really taken an interest in making sure that the swimmers are comfortable. If you enroll a brand new swimmer, plan to enroll for at least a handful of months. They will cover safety as well as technique.

They told me I could save them and use them when they went back to the regular lesson in the fall. I was just told my remaining lessons will not be honored unless I pay for at least 4 additional lessons or pay for their clinic. They told me it's not their fault, it is corporates change and they won't honor my lessons I paid for. They also refused to give me a phone number to this corporate office they are blaming. Don't lose your money going to Bear Paddle. That is not the way to run a business by stealing from your clients.

Ryanne kept a good eye on my middle child as he is extremely ornery & squirmy. She was awesome with my kids! I can't say enough about Amy, she's a wonderful lady! She interacts with everyone & calls the kids by their names. She walks the edge of the pool checking on everyone & all the things, during lessons. She talked to my boys after every lesson & even teared up on our last one. She gave my boys big hugs telling them she hopes to see them soon. The scholarship that they offer is such a blessing. This seriously went on for two weeks! So then I started calling other locations and asking if we could switch to their location one after another the same thing would happen where they would promise me a manager would call me back and I would never get a callback. That's when I realize this place was a complete and utter scam. It took me leaving a Facebook post and canceling my credit card to prevent them from charging me to get them to finally reach out to me where they offered me a free month of private lessons. We went to the first one and it was such a joke. The guy was literally just showing my son how to splash, swirled him around a little and called it a day. He can do many things that I think that really contributed to the success and guidance he has received from his teachers here at the center. My daughter is in the beginner class. They swim for 30 mins one day a week or however many days you have them signed up. They go over basic swimming skills like swimming properly, back floating, black swimming, going under water, and going under water to grab objects. I also like that it's only three kids to a class. I feel this is best for the kids to be able to each get a chance to participate in activities as well as have a little one on one time. Her instructor is Mary and she seems to like her and really be enjoying swim class. They are a little pricy, but when I looked up another school in the area it was about the same price. For one day a week, 30 minutes a class, the price is $88. Overall, I like Goldfish and can't wait to continue to see my daughter excel in swimming.
