Called SI Pool and Sam came out and not only corrected the problems - he also helped and trained our family how to manage a pool as we've never owned a pool before. The crew that opened our pool was not so good. They made a mess and broke things. SI fired one of them and attempted to work with us. But the pool never really got properly opened or cleaned. They left the cover on the deck rather than putting it back. They never fixed the broken valve handle and replaced a skimmer bag with a flat skimmer. Then to add insult to injury, the bill did not come in at the agreed upon price between us and the owner's wife. The owner, Sam, made an adjustment, but then additionally and inexplicably billed us $250, allegedly for the pool opening - which we had just paid for. The owner was difficult to work with, and at this point we have just given up. There are lots of pool places around us, so we will pick another. We got almost no use out of our pool this summer thanks to them. And finally, although we were supposed to be on weekly maintenance, last week it turned a dark algae green. I cannot recommend SI Pool.

The basketball court is in bad shape, it's needing a resurface so please be careful there. It also collects overflow of water from the train tracks and is kind of nasty in the back of the court. The courts are usually full of litter, unfortunately people don't clean up after themselves. My toddler enjoys the play areas! Despite the issues we still enjoy coming here.
