The staff is really kind and always asking how the practices are going. Love to this place!

I went here to release some energy and hit a baseball, because I love baseball. It was definitely run down from the inside, but the machines still worked. Which is the reason I came, who's complaining? The guy working their looked like a younger kid, but he was helpful. He even came and told me when I had 10 minutes left. I am not going to complain about the price because for me baseball is worth it. It wasn't to bad. I would recommend if you just want have some batting practice. If you are looking for somewhere nicer you might want to keep looking. They also have a spot to practice pitching if you want to use it. It looked like they had balls you could use. read more

The outside is a little nondescript. The attendant could not have been any nicer. They had helmets and extra bats. The cages worked well. We got 15 minutes for $19. I'll go back. read more

This placed looked like the last remaining building in Joplin, MO. On the outside it's an ugly metal building with rust spots. On the inside it's worse. Insulation dangles from the ceiling. The token machine didn't work. There was crap from decades past hanging or draw on the walls. But the machines worked. And that was what my daughter wanted. It seems incredible to me that in a city this size that I could only find two batting cages. This one in Northern Kentucky and another a good 45 minute drive in the northern suburbs. By the looks of this place there's an opportunity for someone. The saving grace of the place was the young woman working the desk. She was nice enough checking me in but when it comes to sports I'm useless. She saw my daughter struggling and saw me struggling to help her and came over and offered my daughter some advice that helped her immediately. She didn't have to do that. It wasn't expected. I have a feeling it was more the nature of her than the culture of the batting cages she worked for. But I'll be back....because it's the only game in town. read more

This place seems to be on the the way up. Someone had cleaned it since the last time I was there and the people working seemed nice and knowledgeable. You get a lot of pitches for not a lot of money. I will come back again. Great place if you want to get your kids out of the house and get them some exercise. read more

If you're looking for a nicely maintained place with friendly customer service, then you won't love the Erlanger Batting Cages. If you're looking for a place to improve your or your child's hitting, it will do just fine. $15 for 15 minutes or $1.50 for 16 balls. Speeds of 35 - 75 mph make it okay for just about anyone. I will come back for my son's hitting, no question. read more

Went on the website for the Batting Cages and it looked pretty nice. The site had an online scheduler for times. Too bad the owner spent more money on the Website then he did to make this a nice place. Was pretty turned off from the minute I walked in, as I stood at the counter with no one behind it. Finally a man sitting a few feet away watching a kid hitting walks up. Doesn't say HI, can I help you, just stands there. So I ask for the slowest cage in the place and it was $12.50 for 15 Minutes. Then I have to ask how to get a bat or helmet. So we stand in the cage for a few minutes trying to figure out how to turn it on as the man just sits on the bench behind the cages. I have to ask again on how to start it. He gets it going we used our 15 minutes and left. We were the only ones in the place as we walked out right by the man working and not thanks for coming, thanks for returning the equipment, nothing. I will not return to the place again. Poor Lighting to boot in the building as well. read more
