We took our 11 year old grandson for his birthday. It was all of our first visit. The staff were fantastic, the place was clean, the equipment seemed to be well maintained. I read some negative reviews on the mini golf course but the one we played was great. Looks like they had been recently upgraded. Some of the games seemed to be out of order and I thought a little overpriced. Grandson was very pleased and remarked that he was going to bring his children here. Kart Kountry is a long time staple of Shepherdsville. It's is a go kart/min golf/arcade/bumper boat establishment that has been providing kids and adults a lot of fun every since I was a kiddo. In the last 15 years or so the place has gone under much renovation. The mini golf course is completely been changed and upgrades. The arcade has grown massively and they now have bunker boats in the place where I wanna say the old school batting cages use to be. Fun place to take the kids and spend and evening. It's a really popular spot for birthday parties as I've taken my kids to a few over the years. The pricing can be a little steep but it is a lot of fun. The go karts have good speed and while the track is somewhat basic it is a long one and you do get some good time driving. Overall it's a cool spot and I see know reason it won't remain a staple in the Shepherdsville area. There really no other place comparable to it in that area. read more

I took my 5, 7, and 17 year old kids here. The staff is super young and very friendly. They allowed us to use one ticket per go kart so we only used two for all four of us each time. The arcade was a little disappointing because a lot of games were not working and the air hockey tables all glitched multiple times. However, we love claw machines and they were all working and offered super cute prizes. The prices were actually not bad at all, which was surprising after reading reviews here stating otherwise. read more

If you love go-karts this is THE place to be. I've raced in several different states since I was in middle school and this track is lots of fun. The cars are in good shape, the staff are courteous, the lanes are well organized and it's good family fun. The boys and I arrived about 6pm. There wasn't a huge crowd which was wonderful when you're wanting to race. Plenty of staff on board tp make sure everyone is safe. There are also carts for juniors and younger kids. Kart Kountry also has water boats, putt putt golf & a full sized arcade. Plus it didn't smell like canned meat like a lot of arcades. Winner winner! read more

How much fun this place would be after COVID. We stopped in here right when they opened on a Sunday. Surprisingly it was packed as soon as they opened. It worried us a bit. We only did the go carts we wanted to limit our exposure. We were the only folks wearing masks while outside. The track was super long and lots of fun. We bought the 5 tickets for $27, and one single ticket which is a discount it's usually $6 a ticket. We each were able to ride track twice. They have bumper boats, go karts, mini golf and an arcade. We will be back when things settle down. We did not see any sanitation in between go kart rides which was concerning. But we lathered you with our own sanitizer before and after each ride. As we were leaving it was getting super busy. It might be best to visit during the week when there are less crowds. read more

This place has been here for years and I have been there multiple times during the summer through kids and grandkids. It is run well. We have done everything offered. They seem to do a very good business. That being said, I do not understand why they do not repair the putt putt greens and paint and clean the water a long the course. This is not a new problem. I cannot remember when the putt putt course was last in good shape. The ragged green prohibits players from getting a good shot. Other than that, the place is nice. read more

No guests were wearing masks, and only people on the staff were wearing any. The place looked unclean, with trash such as plates and bandaids laying around. On a separate note, the children in front of us in Putt-Putt threw a large tantrum which include throwing the putter multiple times, putting guests at risk for injury. My experience with this establishment was underwhelming to say the least. There was an angry old man working on the go carts that was mad that his wife left him so he took his anger out on the drivers. The prices on the ticket prizes were absolutely bogus and unacceptable. A ginger girl working would not let me get the Donkey Kong stuffed animal with my tickets. My disappointment was immeasurable, and my day was ruined. Worst place ever. read more

After so many years of being in business, Kart Kountry's still got it. When I used to live in Shepherdsville I frequented this place often. Ever since moving to Louisville I haven't gone as much because of the distance, however I knew I had to plan a trip back to see if it was just as great as it used to be. We came on a Wednesday so there weren't many people there, which was perfect. They have a nice, spacious parking lot that is close to the entrance. Kart Kountry is known for having the longest go kart track in the world, but they also have an arcade, mini golf, a batting cage, and a water bumper car ride. This place has always been ran by teenagers so don't expect above and beyond service. With the go karts, they have ones for kiddos, normal and "thunderbolt" which are faster. For one lap is $6 with the thunderbolt, which I don't think is bad at all. Since the track is so long, you definitely feel like you get enough time out there. We also spent some time at the arcade. We paid $10 for 50 credits each, most of the games ranging from 3-6 credits. They have a lot of fun games, but the biggest problem? Literally none of the games (except one) had tickets. There were many that we played that showed how many tickets we won and nothing came out... Kart Kountry is a great place to go in the summer, whether it be for a date night or family night. read more

I will never come back here again what a waste of money. My first car was Stalling then stopped in the middle of the track no one bothered to come over then it started to move again and barely made it back. The idiot that worked there said it was my fault I must have had my foot on the brakes. I had some words with him. The second kart they gave me was worse than the first I want even half way and my son was done. I gave up driving and gave the tickets to my son. I continued to watch and has them start my son and his friend at the same time and one Kart was twice as fast as the second I asked to explain that he said he had no idea how that was possible. First and last time visiting. I know it's post covid but that should have nothing to do with equipment working. At least half the games did not work, tickets not adding to cards. Great fun! Went with my boyfriend on a weekday afternoon and basically had the place to ourselves. We did 3 Laps with the thunderbolts, 4 sessions in the batting cages, and arcaded it up in ~2 hours. All the time we needed and couldn't believe we waited so long to check it out. Stay away from that plumber rabbit game. Waste of time for so many credits. The longest go-kart track! Affordable, very family-friendly, and a lot of fun. The go karting is obviously the main attraction but it also has the biggest selection of arcade games in the Louisville area that I am aware of--and at a cheaper price. The prizes are so/so. Putt-putting is also available and some other games and snacks. Its a nice place to spend a couple of hours with the family without breaking the bank and theres something for everyone. The volcano putt-putt is now open and a fun time.They also have thundercars,which supposedly go faster than the basic carts.We stuck with the basics and had a good time. With a 1.5 mile course and fairly speedy gokarts to blaze around in, you're not going to find a much better gokart experience. Staff is also fairly forgiving of behaviors that would get you asked to leave other tracks (while there's signs everywhere saying "no bumping" the do allow the kinds of normal, incidental contact that will happen on tracks where multiple riders are racing at a time. Inside is like a timewarp. They've got a crap-ton of video games - most of them from the 80s (the heyday of arcade video games). And, unlike many of the mall arcades that want to charge you $1 or more to play a game of Ms. Pacman, their older games charge the same price you'd have paid in the 80s (a quarter a game). Staff is basically friendly and low-key. My only complaint would be the price of the racing: $6/lap. If I could buy laps in bulk (you can for the slower cars but not for the fastest cars), I'd probably spend an entire day there. read more

The Go-Karting is awesome. The lady's go super fast and the track is 1.5 miles long! Longest track around! It's a blast.... Everything else on the other hand... Meh. The baseball area is fun but expensive. A dollar per round. Each round you get nine hits. The arcade is huge and fun - if it's your thing. Some of the games are difficult to play - like this one Star Wars one - and they don't tell you how to play so it basically eats your credits. Speaking of which, credits go by fast . I had 50 and ran through them only having played a handful of games. Games can be 6 creds or 2. The golf course is alright too. I just didn't have as much fun as the place suggests you should. There is no consideration for COVID. Carts aren't cleaned between rides and are barely rideable. The cart given to me bounced up and down considerably while taking left turns. Staff pretended to care there was an issue and then allowed the cart to be ridden again seconds after I was finished riding. I was bumped into a few times and then blamed by staff and given a lecture on "no bumping" despite the fact I had no control over it. Really disappointed in this establishment. I hope they learn to have more consideration for the pandemic and the experience of their paying customers. read more

I feel like Kart Kountry is overall a very fun, and family friendly arcade. I took my Daughter to a birthday party today and we played several arcade games. One of the games took her credits but did not allow her to play. We told a staff member and they gave her the credit back with no issues. After we were done we went to the prize booth. The staff member was very friendly and extremely patient. The only thing I would say negatively is that I think they could use some updating. The arcade seemed a little out dated. The games were all up-to-date but the atmosphere seemed like it needed a little bit of attention. Overall pretty awesome place and the game prices are not overly outrages. read more

I only tried their go kart track, and it made me learn that this is a tourist trap if I've ever seen one. Just because the track is long doesn't mean the driving is any fun. The karts are extremely slow, and everyone leaves at different times so there is no racing with friends. You only get to go around once, and then you leave. It's not worth going at all. read more

I just visited this place on Friday 6-12-15. I loved it here! We played mini golf, it was $5 a person. They were fun courses, in good shape too. Afterwords we went go karting. That was $6 a person and the track was really long IMO. The arcade was huge but didn't play any games. They also had bumper water boats but we didn't go on that either.
