One of my children is a claw machine whiz. I remember one time, he played a claw machine that had huge bouncy balls in it. He walked away with three -- one for each attempt. Pretty much any time that he tries to get something at a claw machine, he will succeed. So when we were visiting Louisville, I made it a point to visit Claw Zone, because I knew he would have a good time. Yes, we did have a really good time. We walked away with a bag of stuffed animals. If you stay and play for a while, you're almost guaranteed to get something. I feel like the claw machines here are slightly easier to win than some others we've encountered. That said, we spent $50, which isn't an insignificant amount. But fifty bucks gives you 65 tokens, and it lasted us about 30 minutes. The claw machines take different token amounts, depending on what's in them. And what's in them varies. You'll find claw machines with stuffed animals, chips, soda and even toilet paper. If you like playing claw machines but hate losing tons of money, Claw Zone is your next place to visit! I took my kids and our return on investment was great! We won probably 15 or so plushies and didn't spend that much money at all. Most of the machines are 1 or 2 credits and you can usually win within two or three tries. The machines with plushies you recognize are normally the ones that cost more which makes sense. There are a bunch of smaller plushie machines, my 6 year old had a little trouble with the upper ones since the machines are stacked two high, maybe there are stools but not sure. In the very back is a party area which is nice. The front has a lounge area and a really neat plushie wall where you can sit and take selfies with all the plushies you won. We stopped in with my daughters today, and it was a hit. The place is bright, lively, and packed with a wide variety of Japanese-style claw machines. The staff here was great and good at walking you through it all (and keeping the line moving - don't freak if you see a long line). I do recommend parents set a time limit for your child, we stayed 45 min tops or until the money ran out of the card. It helped. Otherwise you will have to keep adding more money to your card. Variety of claw machines, many with stuffed animals but some have toys, key chains, snacks, etc! They range from 1 coin to 15, however most were about 2-5. A coin is about $1. It's a clean space and fun once you're inside. If it gets crowded it can be tight in there. It was a bit like gambling for some kids, which was kind of odd to watch as some kids let out some expletives because their stuffed animals would drop (so be prepared). We were there for like 40 mins and spent $38 and walked away with 5 stuffed animals and a Pokémon keychain so our little guy was happy. read more

Took my son for an afternoon on Spring Break. He had a blast. Bought the $50 package and paid $25 for the VIP membership because I assumed we would come back. That was good for 75 tokens for the day. Most games are 1-2 tokens each. We were able to snag 10 prizes. Kept 2 to bring home and banked 8 on our card to trade up next time. Would recommend and we will be back for sure. read more

My boys had so much fun here! We did 2 - $100 (135 points) cards. They have 1, 2, 3, 5 point claw options. They also have 7 point mystery grab balls (everyone wins) as well. Lots of Pokemon, Stitch and Marvel options as well as just stuffed animals. It would be a great place to go for a birthday (I also saw birthday party options). My boyfriend and I went here over the weekend for Valentine's Day. we thought it could be a fun date. Granted we had a lot of fun! This place is a joke compared to ACTUAL "Japanese claw arcades". Its a scam, every item in there is bootleg and not authentic products. $50 for 65 tokens, which sounds like a lot but each machine cost 1-7+ tokens. and because you usually won't get the item the first time it goes quick. Which to be fair I expected. We decided to reload our card and already paid over $100 for only a few items, which at the time I didn't even realize they were bootleg products. We go to this marble pusher game and there's a hatsune miku figure I see that was SO close to the edge! We ended up using all our tokens to try and get it, then to realize it was stuck. we asked one of the employees about it just for him to tell us that the item is larger and needs something behind it to be able to push it off. He told us if we got a figure from the other machine he would trade it for us. We already ran out of tokens. They were selling them behind the counter so my boyfriend just bought me one instead. Which made me a little mad because we just spent a ton of money just trying to get one item just for us in the end to BUY IT. I did not realize they were bootleg till I got home. The packaging looked legit as far as I could see until I looked at it more closely. So in the end, it was fun, had a nice time out with my boyfriend, and yeah maybe we got carried away. But def not worth your time or money, just buy legit products from reliable sellers instead of gambling your money away here for bootleg bs. read more

Me and my boyfriend kept almost getting items but the items are too heavy for most of these mechines. Don't waste your money here. You could get these off of SHEIN for way cheaper. We stopped by here on the way home to TN from IN from a visit to family. First of all, the prices are very good. You get a lot of play time for what you spend. More importantly, the staff here are wonderful. They are helpful and go out of their way to help you win. We will definitely stop by again on another trip to IN. Went today and spent $75. Joined the VIP club and deeply regret it. My daughter "won" over 20 different times, only for the claw to pick it all the way up while closed, and then open the claw on its away over to the prize drop and release the item. We were highly disappointed and recommended this place to no one. Leaving with 2 stuffed animals is a true disappointment. read more

The claw zone arcade is the best place to be if you like claw machines. I always get the 135 credits and will win 30 to 50 each time I go . The staff are very nice and very helpful. Im very happy they open up in Louisville. I live very close and I have to restrain myself from going every weekend but sometimes I make up for not going by going Friday,Saturday and Sunday the weekend I do go. I'm sorry to the ones that didn't win alot but there is no reason they should get a negative review. read more
