It's easy to spend a lot here, so I recommend you have an agreement on the goals and how long you plan to stay. Great place to burn off energy! There are changes to the bounce area policy where certain heights are no longer allowed to play and there's a separate fee I believe to go in there. The coasters are fun and definitely the people there with you and other guests are what make the experience joyful. If you want less chaotic experiences, just opt for the mini golf. We enjoy the course and it's challenging and also fun for all ages.

In Taylorsville, KY. The owner, Brian King is a really nice guy. He knows what he's doing, knows how to talk to kids (of course being a dad helps a lot) and keeps the store so clean! We had eight 7 year olds in the building and they really had a great time! But all of the children there today, not just the ones there for the birthday party, had 1 if not 2 parents there with them today. I have to say that the dads really looked like they were having the best time of their lives. Noah's Mom brought his favorites: Cupcakes, goodie bags and small cups of soft drinks or bottles of water. The prices are quite reasonable. Candy is available at the counter. What is good about admission is it is good for the day, so you can pay, go get lunch, and come back later if you choose. The majority of the games were working, but as you can expect with (gulp!) 40 to 50 year old games (Asteroids - Copyright 1980 Atari! - 45 years old!), they can and do break down.

He even took the time to make sure each one of us had the equipment on just right in order to optimize the experience. It was a very good "social distanced" experience if that's something you are concerned with because each of us had our own 10 foot by 10 foot room separated from each other. However, we were all able to talk over Discord and play games and meet up in these virtual worlds! It was such a fantastic experience!!! It's really weird how your body thinks it feels things you see when actually you are standing in the same 10-foot box the entire time! I highly recommend the "Ritchie's Plank Challenge" and pick the rocket blaster where you can fly around the world and do an obstacle course. It is the weirdest feeling and super thrilling!!!! We rented all seven stations for one hour and wish we had rented it for 90 min or even two hours because there is so much to explore and experience. We are DEFINITELY going back! If you want to try something fun with your friends and tired of the same old thing like seeing a movie or going bowling... this is great to try! It's sooooo different... sooo amazing... soooo immersive... it's hard to come back to the real world because in that world you can fly and do cool things (without the worry of getting hurt LOL). It's located in the Ramada Inn's conference room and is an all weekend event. The space is nice if you are out of town, so then you can just stay in the hotel and already be by the venue, but it was just a wee bit cramped with how much they had in there. But there was a lot to check out, like local vendors, a pinball room, a TV gaming room, a stage with tournaments going on, and the main room filled with a bunch of different arcade games. We only went for one day, but I felt like that was enough for me to be able to do and see everything. The ticket prices we pretty inexpensive (It was around $15-$20, I can't remember exactly) and all of the games are freeplay. All of the games are pretty vintage, some even dating back to the 50's and 60's. Each day there is a different tournament going on, like a Super Smash Bros contest and Pinball tournament. They even had a DJ there that was playing some pretty good live music! If you're a nerd like myself and like to game, you definitely need to check out this event!

Stage One has recently tucked Walden Theatre under their brand umbrella, another long standing group of 50 years. It's making their season schedule robust for families. You can purchase tickets by selected shows or as a subscription. As a non-profit, you can also support them by donation and help expose children to stories and theater. If you have young children in your life, I encourage you to treat them to this experience.

My personal opinion, I think sections A&B as well as E&F offer some of the better viewing options. Seating is first come, first serve so if you'd like a closer seat get there a smidge early. There are refreshments you can buy prior to the show and take them with you inside the theater. Overall, the play was great, staff helpful, and the experience just amazing. Parking is up to you as far as where you decide. If you park in the garage below the theater it's about $10. There is also street parking with meters. I opted to park about a 1/2block away and paid $5. I definitely will be on the lookout for future plays to come see and make a trip back!

Don't forget strollers and snacks, and it's always fun to stop by the Dollar Store to grab cheap glow in the dark items. Have fun!

I will admit, that I was a little "meh, okay." about the whole thing initially. I was excited about some time with my friend and the lights were secondary. But I gotta say....it was much more than I expected! The silk around the lights and armatures looked beautiful and made the animals and plants that were displayed look like stained glass. There were some interactive displays (moving ones, smoke-filled bubbles, walk-through ones) that were lovely and lots of fun, for children and grown ups alike! And fine...I will say it. It was a little bit magical! We chose a weeknight and a little later in the evening to avoid too much of a crowd. There were some congested areas, but that is to be expected. Also a little perk....seeing some of the nocturnal-y animals being a bit more active and sleeping primates :-P It reminded me a lot of the River of Lights Christmas event in Albuquerque at the BioPark, just with warmer weather and closer to my home. Both are a lot of fun and worth a visit!
