We called them one morning some months back for what turned out to be an open neutral on the utility side of the service. (That means Edison performs the repair) The tenant said that half of her outlets and switches were dead. Edison won't roll a truck on the word of the occupant or a handyman. Only a licensed electrician has the mojo to convince them they need to send out a repair party. Sam and Joseph did a great job helping us out with our electrical problem. It was a simple diagnosis and fix. However, I was impressed with the respect that they had for us and our home. For both visits, they made sure to wear shoe covers to make sure they didn't bring dirt and debris into our home. They did this proactively, and I did not have to ask them to do this. I normally let contractors wear their shoes in my house because I can always clean it up later along with the construction debris, but it was nice to have someone treat our home how we normally treat it. Whenever I spoke to Sam on the phone, he always treated me with respect. I really appreciated that because that hasn't always been my experience when dealing with various contractors. I attempted to troubleshoot a wiring switch issue and was at the end of my rope trying to solve it. I had a single light switch that was controlling multiple power sources throughout the house. I messaged Bear Electric at 5 PM and by 6:30 PM (same day), the problem was solved. I was called within 30 minutes, they met me at the property 10 minutes after the call, and within 30 minutes completely solved the issue. What was impressive was how courteous Sam and Robert were. They were professional, extremely skilled in their craft, and genuinely cared about the quality of the work. They briefed me of the issue, how it can be solved, what they needed to do, and the price. I had an electrical issue at my fuse box. Lost power and called a few places asking on timing. I was actually able to be seen later that same day and was quoted / had work proceed into a repair the same day. Appointment approximate time window was punctual and the Electrician was polite and very professional when arrived and spoke with me. Looked at my issue and explained everything needed very well, even spoke with my Senior Citizen mother to reasure her the issue would be handled correctly that same day. Gave us a description of the work, payment options able to be accommodated and outline of what would occur and what was needed. Very satisfied with the site visit and repair that occurred. I'm very happy with the repair as it turned out to be the main that needed to be moved and replaced. Without Bear Electric that day, I honestly don't know what we could have done to beat the heat. I meant to leave my positive experience for others some time back, thought I had to be honest. Just today when looking on the application to find a previous location I'd visited and reviewed, I realized the review for this Electrician company must not have saved or posted originally.
