I literally called them at 11:51am to help with a bathroom light that used fluorescent tube lights (which I now learned was an old, antiquated fixture from Bear Electric technician). The new bulbs I had bought at Home Depot 2 days ago burnt out and smelt like burnt plastic. Joe, the technician, pulled the new burnt bulb off and showed me how HOT the new bulb got. I called Bear Electric this morning to troubleshoot a loss of power in my home and Sam was at my door within 5 minutes. He and another team member immediately started looking into the issue and eliminated multiple possibilities quickly. Sam's investigation revealed that my breaker box was in pretty bad shape, and indicated that this was the root issue of the loss of power. We were able to settle on a price that we were both satisfied with to fix the issue with new breakers and the job was done within 30-40 minutes. I didn't have the chance to shop around for other quotes on this job, so I can't comment pricing in comparison to others, but what I can say is that the work comes with a 2 year warranty which I was very happy with, and regardless this job needed to get done sooner rather than later.
