Everything about the rental was as advertised and worked out great. Extremely clean, amazing views, although there are two other rental properties pretty close by, it was still quiet and the type of solitude feeling I was looking for. Would definitely go back to this place. I only gave 4 stars because there was a minor ladybug issue. They were all over the place outside and could easily get inside. It's just ladybugs so I didn't think it was a bug deal and it didn't affect our trip, but worth noting. read more

***Snuggle Inn*** For the last 4 years, my family and I have traveled to the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge,TN area from Augusta, GA to celebrate the Thanksgiving Holiday. While every effort is made to ensure we are prepared for our journey through the mountains, we could have never prepared for the living conditions in which this cabin was in. The reservations made were for a party of 6, 4 adults and 2 children. The accommodations provided included one bathroom that was located in the master bedroom which was in no way appropriate for the reserved party... beyond this major inconveinence, there was soiled carpet, hundreds of dead bugs (ladybugs (under pull out headboard and wasp (in window ),crumbs (under pull out mattress and on loft futon), droppings under cabinets, dust on doors and lastly but certainly not lease mold and mildew covering the bathroom. At checkin, I was advised that the office staff would be closed on Thanksgiving and would reopen on Friday 11/25 and I would receive a call to inquire about "how things are going". That call was never received. I contacted the office Friday afternoon to advise of the conditions of the cabin. I spoke to Elaine and was advised that the Maintenace Supervisor as well as General Manager would be contacted and someone would follow up with me. The follow up call was never received. During my conversation with Elaine I made her aware of the fact that one child and my mother were both severly asthmatic and were exhibiting symptoms of exposure to mold. On 11/26, no call was received. I called into your office and spoke with Polly. Polly was very apologetic and expressed her concerns about the fact that call was not returned. Polly advised that she could offer 10% off of the next stay with Bear Camp and would leave messages (again) for the General Manager and the Maintenance Supervisor. Although the offer to compensate my family and I is laughable, I was pleased to know that Polly made some sort of an effort to offer something to my family. I explained to Polly I wasn't at all interested in money as if I were unable to pay for my trip I wouldn't have booked. I informed Polly that Bear Camp could potentially offer another unit for our stay next year and allow us to see that property prior to leaving to ensure the accommodations would be acceptable to attempt to make up for the poor condition of the property. As of 1:45pm 11/28/16... I have not received a call from anyone from Bear Camp Cabins regarding my complaints or concern for my families health due to exposure to mold and mildew, amongst the other issues. At this point, it seems as though I am not being taken seriously and my concerns are of no importance to Bear Camp. The cabin was very fun with wonderful decor and many entertainment amenitites. However, the DVD player in the media room did not work and we had our tech expert spend a lot of time figuring out how we could watch a dvd on another device. We don't think the instructions were written properly. Everything else was great. read more

We rented this nice little home for a couple of days on our recent trip to Pigeon Forge. We didn't want to get stuck in a typical hotel room with the crowds and all. The booking process was pretty quick and painless and the company kept in communication with us throughout the entire process. We arrived at the property at around 5:00pm on a Friday and were pretty tired from the drive plus it had been raining the entire day. It was refreshing to arrive at a place with not only a fireplace but a washer and dryer as well and pretty much all the amenities you would want and expect when staying at a rental. The house was quite spacious and we each had our own bathroom which was great. The location itself was right off the little river but unfortunately we couldn't go down by the water because the entire area behind the house was basically a mud pit due to the rain and high water from the river. Very quiet and relaxing location however very dark once the sun goes down and kind of eerie sitting on the enclosed back porch listening to the water flow by. We didn't spent all that much time at the property after the first night but it was nice to come back to a warm fireplace and hot shower plus a full size fridge and stove and microwave. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend you consider this location if you are staying in Pigeon Forge. read more

The Freddy Bear cabin was spacious and clean except for the sugar ant infestation in the kitchen and living room. The maintenance staff were very courteous and prompt to come replace the malfunctioning (sparking!) microwave and door knob (it would not open the door to the outside). The kitchen was not "fully stocked" as stated in the description. There were no measuring cups and only one small baking dish and mixer paddles but no mixer, but we worked around it. The upstairs AC unit went out the last day we were there. The temperature rose to over 85 degrees before anyone came to address it. The living room couch and loveseat were damaged beyond repair. When I emailed pics to the main office, the response was, "Thank you. We will put the pictures in your reservation." No refund or discount was offered for any of these inconveniences. Obviously, we will not recommend Bear Camp Cabins. read more

Where do I start. We stayed at Circle of Life cabin. The cabin itself was in a nice location with a decent view. I would warn that the idea of TV's everywhere and the theater room sounds nice, but there are no directions anywhere on how to work the endless amount of remotes. That's where it all went downhill. They did send a guy out to get the TVs working, but he admitted he knew nothing about the systems in this cabin. The beds are all stacks of foam with no covering just a sheet (hygiene??) and when we called to discuss it Christy (says she is the manager) told me those were temperpedic that I didn't know what I was talking about. When I asked why no mattress cover she said she couldn't help if the cleaners didn't do their job.?? Then I asked about the two sided fireplace not lighting and she said if there is no pilot light, then she didn't know when or if it would get lit while we were there. When I explained the literature said fireplaces are available starting Oct 1st and it was now Oct 5th she said I SHOULD HAVE ASKED before we made the reservation if the fireplace was working!!! So, before you make a reservation keep in mind it may say it has TV, fireplace, theater, etc you HAVE TO ASK if they actually work!!! Not only was Christy being rude, she then began to raise her voice and yell at me on the phone. I asked to speak to her boss and she said no one talks to the owner but her! Wow!! Needless to say, this was the worst experience we've ever had and we ended up leaving early. I don't think we expected too much for a $500 per night rate. We recommend DO NOT use Bear Camp Cabin rentals. If I owned a cabin I would not let them manage it for me and I think they need to send Christy to anger management and proper Customer Service classes. We go on vacation to relieve stress and relax. Christy made sure to ruin that for us since the experience was nothing but stressful and it sure was not relaxing in any way. read more

We had a great stay. Everything was as pictured and clean. We felt safe and had a great time relaxing for our fall break. Kitchen was stocked well and the coffee pot took Kpods and filtered coffee. Wood provides for a fire for the fireplace in the screen in porch area although we didn't use it. Definitely recommended they were easy to work with. read more

My husband and I stayed with Bear Camp (Love Without End) for our 5 year anniversary and decided to return for our 10th. We loved this cabin 5 years ago. Now? Not so much. We did not enter this cabin with the intent of picking out flaws. They easily stood out on their own. I'll start with the outside. There's a little post light on a photocell that illuminates the driveway when it's dark. The light was blown, and that wasn't the last of the blown light bulbs on the property. There's a light on the corner of the cabin that would have helped on those late nights out, but that was blown as well. The deck needed stained 5 years ago, and it still hadn't been touched. The decking is so sun-bleached that it's starting to shrink. There were balusters that weren't touching the rail anymore. They were never attached to begin with. They're simply logs sandwiched between to rails. The hot tub room is a mess. They say that it's normal to see dead bugs around due to their pest spray, but it's extremely off-putting. There's nothing like taking a moon-lit stroll to the tub and stepping on hoards of crispy bees. There's some type of carpeting on the floor around the tub. It used to be blue. Now it's grey and brittle. Not nice to step out of the tub onto. There was a ton of large calcium deposits floating in the tub. Not surprising considering the entire inside surface of the tub is coated solid with calcium. It felt like sitting on sandpaper. They used to have a water softening system but it seems as though they didn't maintain it or they removed it. I have a spa of my own and have the hardest water in the world and I don't have near the trouble with my tub. There's a light above the tub that's really no brighter than a nightlight. On to the inside! The kitchen is a decent little area. The kitchen sink is cracked around the strainer and I'm amazed it doesn't leak. The microwave has hairline cracks on the door but was extremely clean. There are no blinds on the kitchen window and a bulb above the sink was blown. The kitchen joins with the living room. The TV could stand to be updated, but there's satellite. We didn't use the couch because I found food crumbs on it and the fabric looked gross. The bathroom is a hot mess. SO DARK! They didn't install knobs on the drawers, so you kinda have to wrap your fingers around the edges and wiggle them out. The floor felt tacky on your shoes. The shower is extremely small and very dark. It could use a can light above it. We already knew about the dark shower so we came prepared with a clamp light and clamped it on the window curtain rod and pointed it towards the shower. It helped. The shower valve does not allow you to adjust the pressure. You turn the handle to the temperature you want and that's it. The pressure causes the poor little water heater to drain quicker. My husband and I could not shower after each other without giving the water a chance to heat. The floor in front of the shower is rotting out. It feels like the vinyl flooring is the only thing holding it up. The dreaded master bedroom. When we stayed there 5 years ago, the mattress was on it's last leg. Their solution? Put a plastic coated pillow top on it! It's the equivalent to sleeping on a tarp. There's also this weird valley in the middle. I had to resort to sleeping diagonally to avoid falling in it. We had to go buy a lightweight quilt because all the blankets in the cabin are better suited for the dead of winter. The comforter on the bed weighs about 50 pounds. This is also the loudest bed in the world. It creaks like no other. If my husband or I moved, the other definitely heard. It's also not short-person friendly. The last bed frame, I was able to hop on from the foot of the bed. Now, there's a log that's upper abdomen level on me. The Jacuzzi takes up half the room and there's very little space on either side of this gigantic bed. I'm 5'4'' and had to crawl on the side of the tub to get on the bed. About that Jacuzzi; the poor little water heater didn't even fill it enough to turn the jets on. There's a pretty resin rock waterfall in the corner, but they always leave it full so there are shower flies breeding in it. Again with the darkness. There's one screw holding up the inadequate light at the foot of the bed. There's 2 track lights between the dresser and Jacuzzi. The dresser is nice sized and there's an outdated TV in the room with satellite. There are no blinds in the bedroom. Just a heavy curtain. BOTH bulbs at the stairs were blown. I left a comment on FB and they told me to call the office. I did and the office didn't care. I had to submit a complaint in writing, which I sent within minutes. Never heard from them. While packing, I found a mans slacks and a pair of briefs that did not belong to my husband. Ugh. We will not be returning. They never attempted to make anything right. read more

Do not do it. To start our trip the cabin should have had a hidden entrance sign. We couldn't find the cabin and we had no service so we had to drive all the way back into town to be able to call(we have Verizon). When we found the cabin the grade was STEEP. If there are chances of ice and snow just cancel the cabin and take the hit, I would not drive that drive way for anything in bad weather. It was the steepest grade I have ever driven. When we got into the cabin there were maggots and other bugs in the master bathroom. The floors clearly had not been cleaned. There were leaves and mouse poop everywhere Inside. There were dishes in the cabinets that still had old food in them. The water is definitely well water which is fine but it STUNK like sulfur and had the silky texture to it. At night my husband and I hardly slept because it sounded like a bunch of mice in the house running everywhere in the loft and we could hear it all. Our kids slept with us because they heard it all too and were scared so the bunk bed room didn't get used. When I contacted the management they offered to have a cleaning service come out and reclean dishes and the master bathroom and put a work order in for pest control who never came during our stay. We declined the cleaning service as I had already cleaned up the bugs and mouse poop. They should halve offered to put us in a different cabin or refund us at least part of our stay. Oh! I forgot the cabin was missing 2/4 smoke detectors. we found them on top of the refrigerator. we will never stay at this cabin or with this company again. Please don't book the cabin. You'll have regrets. read more

It was so uncomfortable, the young lady we spoke with told us that the cabin had 4 beds EVEN SHOWED PICS TO MAKE US BELIEVE THERE WERE FOUR BEDS!!! We get there, there's only one bed, one bathroom, such an inconvenience, we immediately called to complain, she had the nerve to say that there's not 4 beds but it sleeps 4, THAT'S NOT WHAT SHE TOLD US ON THE PHONE!!! We stayed at this cabin for a long weekend. Only problem was that the toilet was not working the first night. We called the emergency line and was told someone would come out... nobody did. I wish I could give a negative star rating. We had a cabin booked and we received a call saying that it was canceled due to the cabin being sold. Then we were told that we had to stay in the cabin they were offering or we would lose our deposit. The cabin they were offering would not accommodate our family so I told them I would rather just cancel and go somewhere else. I was told that's fine but we would lose our almost $800. She was very rude to me on the phone and I was just trying to not lose our money. They would not have it any other way she told me that I would not be getting the refund which made no sense because it wasn't my fault they sold the cabin out from under us.So anyway I gave booking a call. Booking apologized on their behalf and gave us a full refund and also paid for us to stay elsewhere. Bear camp wouldn't even keep their word to booking. Rented a cabin for four days. Upon arrival at the cabin first thing I noticed was the cobwebs from the walls to all the mounted light fixtures and ceiling fans. When I went into master bedroom standing in doorway notice a pair of men's underwear at the end of the bed. The area had obviously not been cleaned. The futon bed upstairs was broke and would not come out. I called the office and complained about the above. I proceeded to pick up the underwear and get a rag and clean all the cobwebs from the light fixtures and wall corners. Which I told them I would take care of . Upon our return from town someone had come in and fixed the futon. Part of the reason for renting this particular cabin was the hot tub. Half of the hot tub jets had minimal water pressure. Over the weekend of our stay after taking a shower there was a piercing noise from outside of the cabin which turned out to be the pump outside of the house was broke. I called the office four times in an hour and was told that per the housekeeper the alarm would go off in 10 minutes an hour later we had to leave due to not being able to stand the continual alarm.We returned that afternoon and it had subsided. When we were packing to leave Monday morning a city worker had come to fix the pump at which time he said that we should have called and they would have come and fixed it as this was an emergent situation. We proceeded to tell him that we had spoke to the office and complained and the office was not concerned about it. He proceeded to show us a silence button under the outside box. He said pushing that would have shut off the alarm. Which is why the alarm was no longer sounding. But the pump had to be replaced, so he waited for us to finish loading to pull the broken pump. Good advice for future. We did stay past our intended leave time of Saturday due to not wanting to pack up and move to a hotel for 1 night which they were able to accommodate due to no one coming into the cabin till a later date. There are numerous places to rent in the pigeon Forge area and I would recommend checking those out before your stay here. read more

Adorable cabin (Bear Hugs)! When we walked in, it smelled like wood (which I love) so seems like it may be a fairly recent build. Everything was tidy and the kitchen was very stocked. We didn't cook while there but if we had wanted to, it seems as though we would've had everything we would've needed. We had a party of three and there was plenty of space. I only have two criticisms...the shower head, well, probably just the water pressure wasn't ideal for anyone with longer hair. Very hard to rinse out shampoo and conditioner. Also, it seemed as though the guests ahead of us had the company of their pets along. No problem there but there was still pet hair left behind on the couch and some of the side tables. A bit gross so I probably wouldn't choose a pet friendly cabin next time only because we don't like loose hair floating around, especially when trying to eat. That's just our preference and has nothing to do with the cabin itself. We had a great time and enjoyed the area (the cabin was about 3-9 miles from most restaurants and attractions) and would definitely stay in Sevierville again. read more

Me and my fiancé stayed 4 nights and 5 days at the Daya property. When we first got there we were IN LOVE with this cabin! It was beautiful it had a beautiful view! We were excited about the jacuzzi (we live in FL and don't have the weather to enjoy one) . The first night there the jacuzzi was not heating. The top floor bedroom got no heat. The bed was hard and not a big enough cover for 30 degree weather. Next morning, try to take a shower down stairs and the water doesn't get "hot" just warm. Then call the office about the jacuzzi. ALL DAY goes by no call from them. So I call them. "Their maintenance couldn't fix it they will send someone else and give us tickets for some amusement things in Gatlingburg." That night went to use the jet tub and by the time it filled up the water was cold. No hot water for a shower either. This night we slept down stairs the bed was more comfy. But the tv programming sucked. Couldn't even rent a movie. Next day go spend all day in the town and still no call from the office about the hot tub. Go back and the temp is even lower than before and they left it unlatched and the door to the porch unlocked. Still no call from them and still not "hot" water. Next morning, same thing. Stay gone all day still no call come home was about to take a hot shower but only the upstairs get hot. Down stairs bathroom stays cold. So we shower upstairs and sleep down stairs and no hot tub. The beds were uncomfortable and the pillows were hard as a rock. They had everything you needed in the kitchen that was a plus. Over all we enjoyed our stay but not for the cabin. Thanks to GATLINBURG CITY we had a blast. We dreaded coming back to the cabin every night. The final night we were so miserable in the bed we ended up leaving to go home 12 hours earlier than we planned. We got home today and still no call from the office. I wish we had a better experience because we are definitely going back, just not to the Bear Camp Cabins. read more

The owner has done a great job keeping Tamins Treasure in great condition. The cabin was very clean. Beautiful place with lots of room. We even got to see a couple bears in the area. The only negatives, trim the trees in front of the balcony so you can enjoy the view of Gatlinburg and the mountains. It's completely blocked so there is no view of anything. And although not the owners fault, driving to this cabin at night is a challenge. They definitely need street lights by all of the intersections. If those two things were takin care of I'd absolutely stay there again and recommend to anyone. Overall we did enjoy this cabin. read more

The home is beautiful and offers a great deal of different kinds of space. The outside pavilion was enjoyed each day & evening. The home is not secluded as it appears in the listing. The home backs up to a large apartment complex. We grilled out two nights (the starter for the grill is out & had to manually lit with a lighter). The two kitchen spaces afforded for multiple storage spaces and eating commons (the freezer door on the big fridge is broken). One of our friends fixed the issue with his tools. The dining room sat 12 adults comfortably and allowed for us to have an intimate meal as a large group. All bedrooms/baths were mostly updated and fit the needs for each couple. The beds were all very comfortable and a plentiful amount of linens were provided. The home is located within 15 miles from downtown Gatlinburg but due to traffic the commute was close to an hour. I would recommend this home to those looking for a space to accommodate large families or couples. read more

This was my first trip and stay in Wears Valley and I'm thrilled that it entailed a stay at the Owls Nest! I fell in love with the place almost as soon as we pulled up and saw it nestled among the trees with the outdoor light strings shining bright! It is the quintessential treehouse and upon entering it continued to blow me away. It was spotless, updated, and well-equipped with anything we needed during our stay. The hot tub is the perfect way to end a long day of hiking in the park. It has a washer and dryer that came in handy when the airline lost our luggage. Ample parking and privacy. Comfortable and soft bed. No detail was missed. Absolutely incredible on so many levels. Adirondacks on the deck were comfortable and provided us with a front row seat to all the nature surrounding us. Many of the best experiences of the weekend came from our stay in the treehouse. For the company, I would give it a 2, but for the cabin, a zero!! This review is specific to the "Grin & Bear It" cabin. First off, the reservation process is a real test of wits. They use scare tactics in massive amounts of documents and threaten fees for every minute infraction. When you finally check in, the agents are rude and unhelpful- definitely did not feel welcome, or like they even wanted our business!! Luckily, they left us alone, so we could try to enjoy our trip. Operative word is "try." If you're looking for serenity and peaceful quiet, this is not the cabin for you. It is across the small street from two other neighbors, immediately above a busy road. The cabin itself was much smaller than we expected. The pictures, clearly, make it look more spacious, but we weren't there that much, so we looked past this. When we arrived, the cable repair man was at the cabin trying to fix the TVs. Again, we didn't plan on watching TV, so we were patient with this process. However, we could not overlook the mice droppings all over the cabin, nor the smell of something dead when you first walked in! Cockroaches plagued us the entire time we were there, and every time we would clean up little feces from the kitchen counter, more would appear the next morning. It was really disgusting and gave us the heebie-jeebies. On the third night, my daughter dropped her chap stick and it rolled under the couch. When we went to retrieve it, we found a huge nasty, moldy dog turd under there!! They threaten that if you move furniture and don't put it back, they will charge you a fee (no joke) but CLEARLY they do not EVER move the furniture to clean!! It was so gross, I nearly hurled. And due to its current state of decomposition, it had been there for months, or longer... You'd think this nightmare ended here, but no... So we do some laundry, since we were there for some time, and they only give you one towel. But when we went to dry them we found someone else's huge mamma panties in the dryer. EEEEWWW!! They do not clean this place, but god forbid if you don't leave it clean, they'll charge you! As for the "amenities," the appliances are the most basic, antiquated things you've ever seen. The dishwasher really did not even work, the washer did a horrible job, just like the management company- incapable of cleaning anything. The cabin was noisy, air conditioner was loud and seemed to struggle, every footstep upstairs sounded like a herd of elephants, the beds were rock hard, and even minor adjustments sent loud creaking throughout the tiny space. We did not sleep at all on this trip. Honestly, we had to come home to get any rest from our vacation. Please, do not book with this company or stay in this cabin. It was really horrid! read more

Very unsatisfied by how our stay was handled by Bear Camp Cabins. We booked a 3 bedroom unit and had no choice but to be transferred to a poorly cleaned and maintained 1 bedroom unit and charged additional fees because the driveway of the 3 bedroom unit was in such poor condition that some of our guests did not believe they could traverse it without damaging their vehicles. The 1 bedroom unit, Alpine Joy, was infested with ants and bees, had rusty water, dusty beds, and a refrigerator door that would not close. When we asked for some response from management, we waited a week and were told (1) we asked to be changed to a different unit, (2) we did not complain about the condition of the unit, and (3) there was nothing they could do about the bees. While the staff conversed in a courteous and professional manner, the rental experience and value was extremely poor and the inability of Bear Camp Cabins to do anything to address this situation from a customer service perspective, other than say "sorry" will lead me to take my business elsewhere and advise all others to do the same. There was no excuse for how this situation was handled from a business and customer service perspective. From a person who has been renting cabins in the area regularly for over 15 years, this was by far the worst rental company I have encountered. This post was only written after providing them multiple opportunities to provide some level of customer service, it was clear they had no interest in that. I will now update my review of Bear Camp Cabins, as the manager just called me and said she would have gladly moved us to a different cabin had we came or called her to complain (which we didnt) and she refunded a couple fees including housekeeping, in the amount of 107.00. We felt this nice of her. It was quiet a splendid experience to have. The house itself from the inside was clean enough to be satisfactory. It might be deceiving when you see from the outside but they say to not judge a book by its cover. The house inside was very welcoming and we had a great time staying I wouldn't mind coming back another time to the place. Stay away from this place ! Not only was the cabin dirty, including dirty sheets but there was a LIVE squirrel living in it!! When we called the office they said the cabin was too far from them but we could stop by and get some sheets. They told us we were renting a cabin in the woods but if we wanted they could send someone over to shoo the wildlife out of the house. No mention of fixing the hole they were coming in. I rent a cabin every year in the smokies and I will Steer clear of these people. read more

Very nice place to stay. Cabin was very clean and looked like it did in the pictures on the website. Kitchen amenities were sufficient beds comfortable. Hot tub was very relaxing and fun. The only downsides were the water pressure wasn't great and the showers were small sized for such a nice place. Also the air conditioner leaked water into the carpeting at the top of the stairs where the filter was located. I reported this within hours of arriving and as of yet nothing has been done about it. I would recommend this place for anyone visiting the pigeon forge area. Dollywood parks were within minutes drive and there is so much to do very close by. Don't waste your time and money. We rented Mandollin Inn. The management people are rude. The place is filthy- carpet , bedding, towels dirty and stained. Dead and live bugs everywhere, no handles on the the closets - broken off - burners in stove didn't even seat right. Our 3 year old grandson was scared, cried and asked to go back to the van. Agree with everything from other reviews. When we went back to the management they offered to give us a free night and send a cleaning crew back - no cleaning crew could make that place any better - when asked to speak with the manager - we were told that the person we were talking to was there to handle things so the manager did not have to be bothered. She would not relay all of our concerns to the manager while she spoke to him. When we asked if she would stay there - the response was I have not seen the place. Everything was very run down - stains on furniture - doors inside had claw marks - gaps in the corners of the walls where daylight showed through - the "white" bathroom floor was BLACK from dirt. I can't say enough BAD things about this place and it was for sale - good luck with that - I wouldn't take it if it were free - no place to park the car - had to park on the gravel next to the cabin. Cobwebs everywhere -no upkeep at all - I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. We left and went to a motel. These people don't care about customer satisfaction - only about getting your money. I'm still trying to get a refund, they refuse to give you your money back. I don't know how they are allowed to stay in business. I wish I would have read reviews before booking this place! read more

I don't even want to give this company a 1 star. Over the past weekend, my mother had a wedding at one of their rental cabins. At 8:30 pm, we were told that multiple complaints were made about the loud music. We were understanding, and moved the party inside. It wasn't a problem that the music needed to be turned down, the problem was with the woman and man who drove up to tell us. The woman was extremely rude, for no reason. We were all nice and understanding. And the male she was with had a gun on his side. We had a 1 year old and a 6 year old present. The 6 year old was scared because that man had a gun on him. What were we going to do? None of us had any intent on harming anyone. We moved the reception inside and still had music playing. While cleaning up outside, I could not hear any music that was playing inside the house AT ALL. About an hour later, that woman came back and brought another woman. BOTH OF THEIR HUSBANDS HAD GUNS! Completely unnecessary and unprofessional. We did not feel safe. I think they just wanted to find a reason to take our security deposit. The house was left in perfect shape and we have pictures to prove it :) read more

We stayed at Priceless View and it was very clean and nice. The location was nice. Everyone was very helpful checking in. The check in process was smooth and quick. One criticism is a few blinds were broken and two of the three remotes were none functioning. Definitely would stay again. read more

I was really worried about our trip after reading many negative reviews after I booked. Normally I would do my homework beforehand, but this was a last-minute Valentine's getaway, and cabins were scarce. Fear not, I have a good experience to report about Bear Camp Cabins! Yes, they send a contract alleviating them of responsbility for some outlandish things, but I have to believe that everything on that contact is because a guest with unreasonable expectations made a fuss in the past. Yes it's the woods and you might see some bugs. Yes you should contain your garbage in the available receptacles or else haul it off (bears anyone?). So short and sweet: We called the office to let them know we'd be there after 5. They left instructions, but we didn't need them, because the office was still open at 7:30 pm when we arrived. Pine Cone Inn was spotless at check in. Apparently a 3-person cleaning crew does housekeeping there; I'm not sure if that is arranged by Bear Camp Realty or by the owner. Great cabin with charming decor. Hot tub set on 104 when we arrived, was clean and was big. Newish couch - not at all stained. No sign whatsoever that this is a pet-friendly cabin; I have asthma and did not detect any hair. Bed slept fine. Gas fireplace worked great. Had an issue with the water (no flow when we arrived back to cabin one evening), and maintenance was there within a hour to fix it. Water pressure as expected near the mountain peak. Pool table is small size and a bit warped, so that could use replacing. Great location and loved that the cabin was situated near the top of the mountain - just what we were looking for. read more
