We've been staying with Outrageous Cabind for over 20 years (before it was Outrageous.) This was where we spent our honeymoon (well Gburg actually - in an old run down cabin that wasn't theirs). I don't even know if this place was around then. That was 41 years ago but we spent time up here for our 40th anniversary this year - using them exclusively since we found them about 20 years ago. I think the ownership went thru change since we've been coming here but we exclusively and use them at least 3-4 times a year. Their special for last minute trips is incredible. After 20 years, 3-4 times a year (so we've stayed in most of them), each one has always been clean as a whistle. We have figured that we have stayed with them over 60 trips. At least. We've never stayed with anyone else the past 20 years! Our favorite place is at the top of the mountain at the water tower. However three of the four we always stayed at and liked the best, all but one was burned down in the Gatlinburg Fire of 2016. It burned down to their concrete footprint. They finally got one of them rebuilt and just opened back up so we are leaving Friday to go there. It's at the very top of the mountain and you can see for miles and miles. Yet it is only 5 min from the Parkway, behind Dollywood. You would think a cabin on the to of the mountain with its incredible view would be miles from the Parkway but it's only a short 5-8 minutes. I can never praise their staff enough. They are awesome people to work with. Some of our favorite restaurants we never miss are the Applewood for bfast, Guy Fieri's restaurant and arcade ( this is awesome and relatively new and great to go because there is a Crumbl and Ice Cream shop next door that are for that sweet tooth we always seem to get worse up there), Chop House, Cherokee Grill (Gburg), Ogles Farmers Kitchen ( I think this is the name. It right close to going in for Applewood. We've just recently found this and have been multiple times), The Pottery Barn Cafe is usually our first place we hit coming into town. There is also Paula Deens, Chop House, and Johnny Carino's. This is just for starters. Stay here and you won't regret it!!! read more

Outrageous cabins is an online cabin rental company that operates and rents out of the popular and beautiful Sevierville Tennessee mountains. My family and I were in town from Lousiville for my daughters cheer competition and was looking to stay an extra day and enjoy the nearby Sevierville/Gatlinburg/pigeon forge areas. I found this company by using Yelp actually. They had a very reasonably priced cabin called the honey bear hollow that sleeps 8-12 people. Me having a family of 7 made it a perfect fit. So you book through the site. Place a credit card on file and pay half up and they will take the second half a week or so before your arrival date. The day of check in You will receive a text notification with an address and pass code for the cabin and the trash cans outside. The day before check out they will text you checking out info and cleanup rules. Our honey bear hollow cabin was beautiful and very nice. You have a covered porch with two rocking chairs and you walk into a nice spacious living room and a kitchen. Off that main floor to the immediate right of the kitchen is a king sized master bedroom and full bathroom with a dual shower head walk in shower. Off the backside of the kitchen is a locked door with a covered patio area with your own personal hot tub. As soon as you walk in where the living room area is a spiral staircase. You get to the top and immediately in front of you is another bathroom with a walk in shower. To the left is a loft area with a pool table and another king sized bed. To the right is another room that features a queen sized bed, a fun retro arcade machine with several classic arcade games and another full sized bed. On our trip here in March of 2022 we got to experience both warm weather cabin life and snowfall cabin life. On our first day here we had beautiful sunny weather up in the high 70's. The next morning we woke up to about 4 inches of snow. I'll give the grounds crew credit. The roads were salted the day before when it was sunny and when we woke up the next morning to a mountain winter wonderland the roads and Drive ways were completely cleared. The surrounding area of the cabin site has a few neighbors. Some closer than others but you still have a ton of privacy. The grounds in the very back has a cute small log cabin chapel and playground. Throughout the site is cool little decor of equipment and even a fake "general" or "thrift" store to give it that southern Sevierville feel to the place. The kids and us loved our cabin. Very spacious and comfortable beds. Nice place to play pr relax and has TVs in each room and in a beautiful area. They really enjoyed the personal hot tub as well. Outside we did have our own grill so if you want to cook out that is an option as well. If I had to critique anything it would be that the pool table in the loft is in a small and tight area. The pool sticks are too long to get off any shot you want without bumping a wall. The TVs all had directv so you had cable but it would be nice if they had a smart tv for streaming services. Overall this was a fantastic and well priced experience and visit. In most of our out of town cheer comps we have to stay in specific hotels near the competition sights. On this trip we was able to book what we wanted to and this massive and fun cabin was actually cheaper per night for a family of 7 like Mine. So we were thrilled with everything! read more

I'm scared to give 5 star reviews but YUP, I just did it!!! Outrageous cabins was too good to be true from the beginning. I was looking online to find somewhere small for my husband and I to go during Valentine's Day weekend. After searching high n low we end up finding a location in Pigeon Forge named Outrageous Cabins. Yes!!!! We booked online and had to pay half down for the deposit. The other half was to be paid 15 days before the trip. The only thing that made me nervous was that there really wasn't a good cancellation policy... so, if it had snowed, or we had a death in the family and weren't able to come, we would've been given a gift certificate for the amount we paid to redeem within 1 year of the date of original booking. Honestly, it worked for me, as others I'm sure would've had an issue with this. We stayed in a cute little cabin Rustic Villa- it was a 2 bedroom, 1 bath. I'm thinking it's designed and best for a family with children, because it may be a bit too crowded for two adult couples. There were more than enough towels, and pretty much everything we needed to feel "at home" the only issue is that we couldn't work the cable in the living area BUT we had Hulu, Netflix, and Prime so all was well with the world. The jacuzzi.. man, the jacuzzi! Love love! It's situated right outside the master bedroom and was already at a warm temperature. All my husband had to do was take the tarp off and we were good to go. So romantic, so nice. I'll def recommend that others come here! read more

Really enjoyed our stay, very spacious and cozy. Pool table and air hockey table probably need to be updated but still able to play and have a good time. Had to email maintenance late in the evening because the hot tub started leaking, they came the next afternoon and fix the leak. I'm so happy I got to bring my fur baby with us. The last visit to Gatlinburg I wasn't able to bring her and she got very depressed. I was also scared at that the fact this was a pet friendly cabin it would smell bad, but you honestly can't tell any animals were here. Other than very minor things our stay was very nice! read more

Absolutely thrilled with our experience at our cabin!!! I called and spoke with someone about some small things I thought needed attention and things got resolved so I won't mention the issues we had however they where very very friendly and very professional over the phone. We will be back every year for beneath the stars experience. I will add that there was no Christmas decor which is always nice to see. We saw them decorations stored in a closet but they where covered in thick dust. Regardless we will be back and will be using the outrageous cabins from now on for our two-three time a year vacations we take. Thank you!!! read more

We had a very good experience at A Bears View from August 5th through the 10th. The cabin was clean and almost all the supplies in the kitchen looked brand new! My son thoroughly enjoyed the game room. My only suggestion in regards to the cabin would be that the ownership might consider adding traction strips to the stairs leading up into the cabin. It rained frequently during our stay. One of the steps wasn't level which made using them while wet a little difficult. Overall we had a wonderful experience and aside from the comment about the steps had zero complaints about the cabin. I would have liked to have seen more of an inviting atmosphere with the staff in your office. Aside from the "rules" we were given very little information after handed our map. A smile and maybe a little interaction about our plans, do we know the area.. would have gone a long way. I stopped in several times during our stay and received the same reception every time, I felt like I was bothering them. read more

I have stayed in this cabin at least 5 times in the past-Almost Perfect. I have stayed in other cabins of theirs over the past 11 years so I have a lot of history with them. We stayed from December 26-January 3,2020. When we first got inside the cabin it reeked of fried foods. I understand that the smell can linger but they should have aired it out while they were cleaning it. On to the table and chairs-they suck. The chairs are loose and there is on there that doesn't match and it constantly fell over. I had to make sure that my mom wasn't sitting in it at all. The kitchen is missing a lot of stuff that it had last time. Measuring cups and flat pans. I had to go buy them. The fireplace-it a joke. I called twice and told a repair man about it. They were supposed to have someone come fix it but that never happened. My husband removed the glass and cleaned it and it was dirty again the next morning. The guy that came out to fix the video game told us that someone burned paper in it and that he would have someone come fix it. Well that NEVER happened!!! Upstairs shower- I called and told them that they had little black worms around the base of the shower on day 3. They were coming out of the grout in the corners. So the next day a guy comes and caulks around the bottom. What is that going to do??? Whatever. I took my showers downstairs after that. The upkeep of the cabins has dramatically gone downhill. I don't think that we will ever stay with them again. We actually rode around and got names and numbers for other cabins and rental companies. I was watching the maids clean other cabins in record times. There is a four story cabin across the street and they were there for 2hours max. Now really----how clean do you actually think that cabin is? People are paying dam good money to stay there and it's not cleaned worth a dam. Our wet mop pad was disgusting. I spilt some water on the floor and looked at it. Ugh! How hard is it to replace that. I wiped it up with a towel. Sorry to say but y'all have lost a faithful customer and I won't be recommending y'all to anyone again. read more

For the most part pretty impressed. We booked on Airbnb not knowing it was a cabin rental place so didn't expect to have to put a card on file and check in the way we did. The cabin we had chosen had a hot tub and they called in advance to say the hot tub wasn't working and allowed us to switch which we GREATLY APPRECIATED. Accommodations were very nice. We did have a lady bug problem in the loft- caught and released 13 lady bugs before bed that were all over the loft. A few more were on the ceiling. Not sure what that was about but we were okay with it. They didn't answer our check out call so didn't get to mention that. Not quite a mountain cabin experience since it's a bunch of rentals but quite nice. read more

We had rented from here before and had minor issues but nothing like this weekend. We rented Panaromic View Suite 3, paid almost $500 for two days and got nothing we expected. First off, we bought steaks for dinner only to find out late that evening not a sharp knife in the kitchen?? The refrigerator had 1 shelf (2 missing) and nothing to hold anything on the inside door! It may as well been a cooler. Speaking of food there was no pantry or empty cabinet for our food...really?!? The main TV picture was standard definition so the picture was blurred and not worth watching. After all the BS we put up with I let them know and all they said is they will make it right for the next people...OMG!! Never again, be warned there are a lot more options in the same area. We have stayed at these cabins many times over the years. This is just a rental management business and not an owner of any cabins! While the cabins are always in very good condition we have yet to not have minor issues everytime we go. Whom ever the cleaners are do a very inadequate job going over the cabins between renters. This time the floor in our bedroom had obviously not been vacuumed as well as under the couch in the living room as there was debris in both locations. Just minor but still not done. There were clothes left by the previous renter in our closet which would have been found had the cabin actually been cleaned and inspected thoroughly! The hot tub had a leak underneath leaking down into the next deck down right on the table and chairs. Yes it was a hot tub leak I know what I'm talking about! Not over flow! Game tables are often worn out or well worn. There were no TV remotes for all the TVs. Only the Cable remotes! U need the TV remotes to use Netflix or YouTube etc! When we checked in the door was locked and a note said to call so we did as we stood at the door and no answer! The lady came to the door "w her stupid worthless mask" on and said she was busy folding clothes! Just too busy to answer the phone! What a joke! She was very hateful in stating how busy she was! Th se cabins are exactly the same floor plans as Dollywood and sit side by side w them as well all over the mountain. Dollywood is often higher than Outrageous is. Overall I do recommend the cabins. Just look them over closely when u arrive and request anything u need right away as they are extremely slow to respond! read more

We stayed at Outrageous Cabins Animal House located in the luxurious Starr Crest II Resort which is set atop Shields Mountain in Sevierville, TN. One of the hardest decisions was to decide to venture out and sightsee or stay in and joy the cabin and it's views. The views are heavenly. Animal House sits at the top of the mountain along the ridge and you can see Dollywood Resort with spectacular sunsets. Every morning we awoke to fog on the mountain and were in awe as it slowly disappeared as temperatures climbed each morning. If you get up early enough and stroll through this beautiful community, you're able to see the sunrise and Mount Le Conte. The cabin offered a two space parking pad which is adjacent to the front door. The pictures provided on their website are pretty spot on but there have been some upgrades to this cabin, mainly all the TV's are now flat screen. The kitchen is very basic so remember to bring any items you think you may need. They do provide knives, silverware, a set of dinner plates, dessert plates, bowls and coffee cups for 4 people. Unfortunately, this requires you to either purchase paper plates and cups or run the dishwasher daily. There is a small frying pan but the spatual is more for the grill. Also provided is a coffee maker and 2 slot toaster. No storage containers so remember to bring items from home. In the kitchen closet is a stack le washer/dryer which we used twice. No iron or ironing board though. The living room sits 5 people comfortably or 4 and a dog (which is what we did). Don't forget to bring your pets blanket and toys to make them feel at home! Considering this cabin is pet-friendly we had no issue with pet smells and our dog could only find one area of the cabin where a previous pet had been. The dining area has a table to comfortably sit 4 but we mostly used it as an entrance table. The bedroom contains a log king bed, 2 nights stands, a dresser and TV. The loft contains the same except no dresser but rather a 5 drawer chest. Closets and alarm clocks are provided as well in each area. Upstairs you'll find an arcade game, pool table and air hockey table. All have been heavily used but considering that's your entertainment while there, there isn't anything to complain about. From the loft bathroom you have a view out through the deck to the outside which is nice when using the heart shaped jacuzzi. Don't worry, there are 2 window doors that can closed to offer privacy. The decks are probably the most popular areas of the cabin. The upstairs deck offers a hot tub (which we used daily) and a log swing. The main deck offered 2 log lounge chairs, a side table and a log table with 4 benches. Both were roomy enough for the 4 of house to hang out comfortably. The cabin itself sits with 2 others on one side and 2 behind you. The area in which this cabin was situated was perfect and private. I did notice other cabins in the area allowed views to your decks. This cabin is edged a little more forward than the other two which allows for complete privacy. You're left on your own while there which means no housekeeping but we liked that. They do give you a starter set of trash bags for each garbage can in the house, 4 packs of dishwasher powder and a small bottle of dishwashing liquid. Just enough to last you through the week. If you intend to wash your clothes remember to bring your products as they offer enough for one load. A broom is provided as well but we brought our cordless Dyson which as perfect. Management is available daily and after hours there is an on-call manager/security. We had no occasion for after hours but a cabin across the street couldn't unlock their door and he was there within 5 minutes. It was easier for us to drop by the office to ask our questions and they were very accommodating. I actually left clothes behind and they took care of shipping them back to me. Fantastic customer service! If you're looking for seclusion, privacy and luxurious accommodations then you have found it right here. Pros: The cabin was nice, neat, and cozy , and the costomer service was great. Cons: We didn't get the exact address of our cabin until the day of our arrival, and the cabin ended up being further out from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge then we would have liked. It wasn't horribly far, but there are some sketchty roads out there. It was kind of scary to drive them, especially after dark. Also, the cabin was much closer to other cabins then we thought. The biggest con for us was the dang hickory nut tree kept dropping nuts on the cabin, and it sounded like we were being shot at randomly the entire time we were there. The trees are beautiful, but the fallling nuts on the cabin roof kept scaring the dogs! It wasn't as relaxing as we were expecting. We would definitely consider using Outrageous Cabins again, but we will choose one of their other cabin locations. read more

Spent 4 days / 3 nights in a four story, "It's got it all". Nice and spacious but had no hot water and fireplaces wouldn't work. Had to call maintenance to fix hot water in all showers and due to change in ownership we didn't have propane for the fireplaces our entire stay, very disappointed. Please DO NOT STAY HERE. A BEARS VIEW is covered in mold in the downstairs bathroom and above the refrigerator right under the Jacuzzi tub. We stayed 3 years ago and it was great but not anymore.3 yrs ago the down stairs shower was broken well guess what... It STILL IS... The Jacuzzi was leaking from downstairs into our kitchen. We opened up the front. The WATER WAS 4 INCHES FROM THE ELECTRIC SOCKET!! KAYLA THE MANAGER SAID THAT THEY DONT NORMALLY LOOK UNDER THE JACUZZIS BUT IF THE ELECTRIC SOCKET WAS COMPLETELY COVERED IN WATER IT WOULD STILL BE SAFE TO USE IT BC THEY ARE MADE THAT WAY!!! Of course we knew better. Our kids were not going to be using a leaking Jacuzzi with the possibility of being electrocuted! We knew it was leaking when my 4 yr old said it was raining in the kitchen! We looked closer and noticed the brown circles in the wood were not brown where the water dripped. It must have been leaking for a very long time. THE CIRCLES IN THE WOOD WERE COVERED IN GREEN AND WHITE DOTTED MOLD!!!!! We took pics. We knew we had to get out of there then but that wasn't it. There was hair all over the downstairs bed. Crumbs on the couch. I had already washed everything before I saw the mold. The washing machine makes a horrible squeaky sound. The cabin is beautiful but how can a company let it go so bad. We had already been up to the office 3 times now we called about the mold Jacuzzi and almost getting electrocuted and we're told we'd get a call right back. An HR later we had to drive back to the office. We were moved after only 2 days at A BEARS VIEW. We only got to spend 1 night in the cabin we had chosen. It should have never been available for renting. They gave us a cabin on the other side of the street with an obstructed view so our once beautiful view was now looking a 2 cabins and a tree. We had to repack 5 people move and unpack. Then that night we spent 5 hours at the nearest Emergency Room with our 2 yr old son. He has severe asthma and we think the mold aggravated it so much he couldn't breathe. We thought for sure they would do something for our horrible time and them renting a cabin that was not ready. The manager offered us $50 for our next stay with them!!!!!!!! Our u kidding me. Plus they had a bears view ready for someone else to stay. The manager didn't know what the greenish white substance was but WASNT SURE IF IT WAS MOLD... AND THERE WAS SOMSOME SCHEDULE TO CHECKIN 5/11/18. We just checked out today. I told her it was UNSAFE TO PUT A FAMILY BACK IN THAT CABIN! BUT THE MANAGER SAID THAT SHE WAS UNSURE ABOUT THE MOLD OR THE LEAKING JACUZZI!! I asked if I could go back in the cabin to get a sample of the mold to have it tested at a lab. KAYLA THE MANAGER REFUSSED TO LET ME TEST IT. You can find a great view anywhere but don't risk your families health over it. Please take this review seriously! The customer service service and maintenance... Or lack of.... Has destroyed my once great memories of this place. They just don't care about the safety of people. It's all about money. There is no heart in OUTRAGEOUS CABINS. but their $50 offer for our next visit would not have worked if one of us would have been hurt in that Jacuzzi. Outrageous Cabins has the best looking cabins and view I have every seen. Every year me and my boyfriend go to Gatlinburg for his birthday and whenever we want a cabin we book here. I'm so HURT to say this year we will not get to go to Outrageous Cabins because of a mess up between the rep. and me. I ask him did he have a cabin available for Friday and Saturday and he said yes. He had a cabin called Candy Kisses available. I told him I wanted the last minute special deal and that I will call him tomorrow if the cabin is still available. Well he was being nice and said if I call back at 8pm that he could give me the special and there will be another rep. there at that time and he will tell him about me and what cabin I wanted. So I called at 8pm and the new rep said "Oh yes he told me you want Candy Kisses for the Thursday and Friday. I was like no sir it's for Friday and Saturday. Then he put me on hold called the guy and got back with me and said he was sorry there is no cabins available for those days and they were completely booked. I was FLOORED!!!! This is the only place we go to when we want cabin in Gatlinburg. Now I have booked with this other cabins place that Im not to sure about and their reviews were low. =(. All most the whole town of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge is booked due to Hurricanes and Car Shows. But hopefully next time I can get in. It just really sucks I won't get to go this time. read more

horrible. no internet service during our entire stay in your cabin. no service on our phones. no television was planning to wath sports and other tv shows. could not call 911 or anybody for that matter could not work since computer had no internet and the people from the office act like this is common and already have a set refund rate which was not nearly enough for the inconvenience i so wish i stayed somewhere else. why do you allow hues net if it is so terrible. its like no one gives a darn. furthermore the black mold on the shower curtain and the thick layer of dust everywhere was a turn off. the cabin was well decorated but the layers of dust on everything especially above the stove where i cooked made my stomach turn. thick layers of dust on picnic table and chairs shows that these items have not been addressed in months. this was my third time staying in timbertops but will probably be my last! read more

My husband, friend and I stayed in "A Touch of Class" in Sevierville and the cabin and view were absolutely gorgeous! It was clean, very well taken care of, and had fantastic amenities. Would have been a perfect stay had there not been wildfires, but I am so thankful for the wonderful staff that did their best with the situation and let us know when it was time to evacuate. Super 8 quality accommodations for a Ritz Carlton price. Rented a required minimum 3 night cabin stay via outrageouscabins.com for the period 12/28/17 - 12/31/17 totaling $1,100.00. Upon arriving the first night from a 10 hour drive, we discovered the following issues: 1. Clogged toilet in master-bedroom;2. Master bathroom jacuzzi leaking/raining water downstairs in the kitchen (water all over the floor and appliances, which required us to use all towels in the cabin to mop up the water; safety/fall issue for those downstairs); 3. Bedding/sheets do not fit the beds; 4. Bath towels were aged/paper thin (concerned they would catch fire in the towel warmer). Immediately informed the front office of our issues via voice-mail at 9:40 PM (office hours till 10:00 PM). They returned our call at 8 AM the following morning and stated they had no other alternative cabins available to move us and they would send a maintenance guy to look into the leak. My wife and I stopped by the front office on our way to lunch to request new towels since we used all of them to mop the kitchen floor. They stated they were aware of said issues with the quality/age of the bedding and towels and blamed a third party laundry service (shrinking, etc) stating Management/owners were aware and addressing. We offered to show them the video of the water raining into the kitchen and they were disinterested saying 'This has happened before' never offering an apology for the initial/first night's experience. We called the front office later in the afternoon as we were out and about the Pigeon Forge area to get a disposition of our complaints/issues before we headed back to the cabin to relax/unwind (would have been nice to have gotten a call from them that all was addressed/fine). They informed us that the leak had been resolved and toilet was now operable (again no apology offered). Used the master bathroom jacuzzi again that night... same leak/same issue again sacrificing our bathroom towels to mop up water on floor & appliances again. We rented a DVD movie from Redbox to watch downstairs (but no HDMI cables to the DVD player- guess we should have brought our own?!). My two boys wanted to play air hockey since we could not watch a movie... guess we needed to bring our own discs too?! Called the office the next day to again report the leak and missing air hockey discs. They said they would send the maintenance guy again to check the jacuzzi leak again and they would send someone by with a disk or two for the air hockey (which they did). Again they expressed little interest in viewing a second days' video of the leak and offered no apology. In fact, the maintenance guy insinuated that I probably filled the jacuzzi tub too full and that was causing the leak. I mentioned to the front desk that I would like to discuss some type of refund given all of the issues including unresolved ones we have experienced for the 1.5 days of our 3 day stay. She informed me that I would need to speak to the owner, Dell as she had no authority to refund and that he would call me before that days' end. It wasn't until 01/08/18 that I finally was able to speak to Dell (after several follow-up phone calls to the front office and later his personal cell phone). He stated he was on vacation in NY for the past 3 days but had acknowledged he was aware of our complaints via conversations he had with his staff. I gave him a detailed summary of our aforementioned complaints and he offered me a $50 gift card toward a future stay with them apologizing for the lack of customer service. When I told him I had no intentions of renting from them again, he offered a $50 refund to my credit card. When I told him that was not enough and felt I should (at minimum) receive a one night refund for the plumbing issues rendering the kitchen & bathroom inoperable (and unsafe) for 2 out of the 3 days. He responded that 'he shouldn't be liable for plumbing issues' and that he would have to think about my request. Two hours later I received a $100 refund to my credit card. Really?! We have used Starr Crest/Outrageous Cabins for years. This time we stayed in Top of the Mountain. This cabin is not as described and is in need of numerous repairs. We prepaid our cabin. We checked into the cabin for a three day stay. The cabin was advertised to have numerous amenities to include a hot tub and fire place. The first night of our arrival we noticed that the fire place was not working. The clocks are only for decoration. Some of the blind are broken or inoperable. The following morning we discovered leaking from the third floor on to the main floor balcony from the hot tub. We did not use the hot tub and was not able to use the second floor outdoor seating area due to the large puddle of water and drippings from the third floor. When we contacted the front office to check out and request a refund for the remaining nights we were told that the best that could be done was a $30. We rented this cabin years ago, but the quality of the service and customer service has declined severely. We will not be back. read more
